J’ai eu l’impression d’être en vacances chez mes grands parents. Hélène et Marcel se sont montrés accueillants et ont eu de très bons conseils sur les activités à faire sur Tahaa. La location du vélo a été un vrai plus !!!

My husband and I had such a memorable stay at Tama’s bungalow. First of all, he picked us up at the ferry port promptly. Chilled fresh coconut water (cracked on site by him!) was served as a warm welcome, and he brought us several different sports such as vanilla farm, peal farm , local church, several good spots for snorkeling (to see sting rays), etc. I loved when he picked up some leaves and flowers from Trees/plants and let us smell… lime leaves, lemongrass leaves, some kind of basil, Ylang-Ylang flowers, and many more.. I felt like I was totally immersed in the local culture and its nature. Along the way, he talked about the history of FrenchPolynesia, characteristic of each island (of Society Islands), local vegetations, things to do/see, eatery recommendation. The bungalow where we stayed is at the top of the hill across his residence, with amazing ocean view. We had also a boat tour with him to see sharks. Tama is a great host and I highly recommend his bungalow!!

Tout etait très bien sauf que l’intitulé est bed and breakfast et nous n’avons eu aucun petit déjeuner… Sinon faut pas mettre breakfast 😌 Amicalement .

You will love this location. There is a coral reef right off the dock where you can snorkle and see all the colorful fish. We were able to have the tour companies pick us up for our excursions. We highly reccomend Noè Plantier for 4x4 island tour. Noè grew up on the island and we had an amazing day. Noè can be reached on face book vanilla 4x4 botanical excursions. We also highly recomend Nui with Watercolor fishing. Nui offers fishing excursions as well as water tours around the island.You can find him on face book watercolor sailing. I cant post contact details here but I will on other travel sites. Please note that you will need the host to arrage a taxi from the airport to the grocery store, and then arrange a water taxi to take you to the location. This will cost approx 23,000 xpf each way. Ensure to inquire about what essentials will be required for your stay including toilet paper and soap. The only transport is kyack or bikes if available to access the store.

The private beach and swimming area was stunning! Beautiful, white sand and clear turquoise water. Only a few steps from our bungalow. A few restaurants you can walk to but our favorite was right next door. It was excellent and a varied menu. Prices were reasonable and a lot less than the resort restaurants. No air conditioning but we survived with the fan. Bungalow is small but worked for us. We made our lunches at home as there is a small fridge. Our room was cleaned everyday and beach towels were available for us. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We speak some French so we were fine but everyone speaks English. Super market across the street. Went on a fantastic snorkeling and island tour. Loved everything! Don’t hesitate unless you absolutely have to have AC. We sat on the beach in the evening where there was a cool breeze.

This bungalow is in a perfect location on the beach with two supermarkets 5 and 10 min walk away, reasonably stocked and with delicious French bread. We used the bikes and the kayak included to see the island and enjoyed a 4x4 jeep safari to 3 fabulous lookouts, the drive up was definitely not for the faint hearted! The accommodation was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean with a grass area to the front ideal for catching the sun and a shaded patio for those that don’t. A great Airbnb.

Nacha et André nous ont très bien accueilli dans leur très belle maison, très bien placée sur Raiatea ! André connaît l’île par cœur et vous transmettra avec plaisir tout son savoir sur la Polynésie. Vous pourrez aussi aller sur un motu en kayak, voir requin et raies dans leur environnement naturel. Les petits déjeuners étaient copieux et très bons, avec des produits locaux, on a également mangé une fondue chinoise délicieuse. Merci à eux et aussi à Kimi, leur adorable petit chien !!

Our stay on Raiatea was incredible. The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning sunsets and peaceful sunrises you can enjoy right from bed. Having kayaks and life jackets available made it easy to snorkel and explore the ocean at our own pace. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with everything we needed, and the space was thoughtfully prepared in every way. AC and fan, plus screened windows to keep the bugs out, kept us very comfortable and cool. Mick was a friendly and welcoming host. We had a great conversation while watching the sunset, which made the experience feel even more special. While there’s a lot to do on the island, we found ourselves just loving the quiet moments and the stunning views. When the weather wasn’t ideal, we appreciated being able to use Mick’s pool. This is the kind of place that reminds you what Airbnb is all about. Hands down, the best and most memorable (in the best way) stay we’ve had. We hope

From start to finish, there really aren’t enough wonderful things to say about this property nor Nacha & André’s generous hospitality! They go above and beyond to make you feel right at home. The breakfast was always amazing & delicious & we were fortunate enough to join them for a couple of luncheons. Also, learning about the locals’ history, ancestor’s, livelihood, culture, & cuisine was just an added bonus. Having the bicycles & kayaks just adds to the many benefits of this property, including the opportunity to wash our clothes. Kind gestures of rides to town for a grocery run is also another example of the host’s generosity. We highly recommend this property and we most certainly would return if and when we’re ever back on Raiatea.

En sus d’un logement très bien équipé, propre et joli, nous avons très bien été accueillis par Nathalie et Tapu. Ils sont très aimables, gentils et nous ont montré et donné conseils sur toutes les activités à faire dans les environs. Hospitaliers, ils nous ont proposé un verre de l’amitié le premier jour où nous sommes arrivés. Enfin, ils nous ont facilité la location d’une voiture qui nous a été d’une grande aide pour se déplacer partout sur l’île. Merci à eux pour leur accueil chaleureux !

The website doesn’t come close to how great Luk and Anne have put this place together. Very small, intimate resort with great meals and a bar at our disposal. The whole property is fantastic!

Jenny et Bruno nous ont proposé d’organiser les transports A/R depuis l’aéroport de Raiatea pour rejoindre leur pension, (2 taxis et 1 bateau), ça simplifie la vie ! Bon accueil, bonnes adresses, bon séjour, merci !

We loved staying in the house. Especially enjoyed the backyard and garden, nice evenings watching the sunset from the dock. Would love to visit again

Communication was excellent. We arrived by flight, had a rental car and took the quick 5 min drive over. Sam was there, who lives on the property. He got us situated, even offered to let us borrow the kayak to go out into the lagoon, and found some snorkels for us to use! We had a nice short stay in Bora Bora, and everything was so close. My wife wasn't feeling well and we had an afternoon flight out, and with rain all day, there wasn't much for us to do, so with a flexible check-out we were able to let her rest and I took the kids down the road to the yellow food truck Kai Kai. Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed with Stéphanie for the full time in Raiatea, it was such a beautiful place, interior (nicely decorated) as well as exterior. She cares for her garden (More beautiful than the public botanical garden if you ask me) the steep decent to the house gives you an amazing view of the bay, and you have comfortable furniture on her private small beach to take the view in closely. We went for one of the best kayak trips we had in French Polynesia! Although English isn't her strongest side Stéphanie was informative, helpful and very friendly. We strongly recommend this place - it's a perfect fit to an enjoyable holiday! Be mindful that it gets rather hot in European comparison (the sea brease doesn't pass the apartment and the ceiling fans aren't quite as effective as AC. However, windows and the sliding doors are well-equipped with Mosquito net so you can have it all open 24/7 (Fantastic)

Probably, the cleanest Airbnb we have ever been to, spacious, inviting, AC was quiet, shower was hot, WiFi worked fine. Rosiane and her husband met us in person and made us feel welcome from the start. Later that day, we had an emergency, and the hosts were right there to help us. The beach is very beautiful, and it is right across the road. We could not have asked for more.

Anaïs nous a super bien accueilli, alors que nous étions en avance. La chambre était prête et nous avons pu en profiter directement. Le logement est propre, le lit est très confortable et la douche est bien chaude. La terrasse à l'arrière est agréable et la vue sur Bora-Bora est imprenable. Les hôtes ont été très attentionnés tout au long de notre séjour. Malheureusement, il y a des travaux juste à côté en ce moment et le réveil est plutôt brutal.

Unser Aufenthalt in dem Bungalow war sehr angenehm. Die Unterkunft war sauber, gut ausgestattet und es war alles da, was man so braucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können den Aufenthalt absolut empfehlen. Vielen Dank!
