Holiday rentals with a kayak in Tunkhannock Township

This place was gorgeous …right on the lake with SO MANY thoughtful touches like games, kayaks, a fire pit, BBQ, outdoor seating areas and located right next to a park and beach …for this region a very special place and experience.

We had an amazing stay! Beautiful neighborhood with easy walks to the lake and pool, but also plenty to do at the house for kids and adults! The host has prepared for guests so well, making everything accessible and easy to find (with lots of fun treats and surprises!) Great home to stay in for a relaxing getaway - but also a short drive to downtown Jim Thorpe if you want to get out of the neighborhood. We would absolutely come back!

Nice Spacious House on the lake. Beautiful and very green walkable area with more lakes in the vicinity. Has all useful amenities including a coffee machine, washing machine etc. Nice master bedroom which gets a lot of sunshine very early in the morning. Nice sun room and thank God it had mesh so we could open the glass but still not worry about insects.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage by the lake. The setting was peaceful and picturesque, with kayaks available to enjoy the water — such a nice touch! The house itself was clean, cozy, and full of charm. The basement was a highlight with tons of games and entertainment options, perfect for relaxing evenings. Michael, the host, truly went above and beyond. He was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I definitely plan on coming back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun getaway.

Danielle was a wonderful host, very fast with responses and made us feel very welcome in her lovely home. The house is very spacious, and beautiful and was very accommodating to our group. The house comes with a paddle boat and kayak and we had lots of fun taking them out to the pond in the backyard. We really loved our stay and would love to come back and stay here again!

The house was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends and family. Can’t say nothing bad, everything was as described. Tom was very responsive when I had a question during our stay. Will definitely go back!!!

We had a very peaceful stay at Maggie’s lake house. The house is spacious and the surroundings are beautiful. She is great at communicating and made everything easy.

I stayed here with 6 girls for my bachelorette trip and we had a great time. Location is great so much to do in the area and loved sitting out my the lake. Only thing I'd say is that the spillway is a little louder than I expected. I loved all the wildlife that we saw too.

Great time with family- rained the entire time- best rainy vacation ever! We enjoyed fishing on the lake, hot tub was great, playing pool, family game nights and nearby hiking to waterfalls. Great family spot to bring dogs…Scottish terrier could do the spiral stairs immediately, big wirehaired pointer took a couple of days to conquer the stairs but he Did It! I would highly recommend if you want to spend time with family in a relaxing atmosphere!

Definitely the best place to stay in Poconos mountain. The house is super clean. The location is great and the communication with Martin definitely super good. I will be back soon.

Allison’s place is perfect if you’re looking for a cute cozy space to unwind and relax. Her place was so clean and looked exactly like the photos. She’s more than willing to help with anything you need while you’re there too! Overall great place to stay!

From booking to check-out, Karan made this entire process so smooth. The cottage was lovely, exactly as described, and properly cleaned!! We had everything we needed, and the cozy welcoming space felt just like home. We had a wonderful stay!

This was only our second Air BnB experience and our first wasn’t great. This was a beautiful, clean, and wonderfully located home. We enjoyed our stay very much! Love all the details and extras. Hope to visit again!!

Bianks place was cute and exactly as pictures. The beds were quite comfortable. The house was right across the lake for fishing! Kitchen was stocked well with spices, grill had propane, and toiletries were left for us. The jacuzzi came in Handy especially since MDW ended up being quite cool. Overall our stay was good!

Timothy's cabin was so nice! It was clean, easy to find, and had great outdoor space. We felt right at home! We also appreciated that it was pet friendly as well. Would stay at his property again for sure.

My husband and I wanted to get away from the city for a bit and this place is so quiet and beautiful - perfect romantic clean cabin! Don’t question just book! We don’t have kids but there’s a room in the cabin that would be perfect for them. The amenities on property were perfect and easy to use. The projector was very cute to watch movies and the image was clear even with lights on. The hot tub was beautiful even in the rain we were able to enjoy it! The hosts are super helpful and responsive to assist with any problems if it even comes to that, there’s a detailed guest book for recommendations. There’s a Walmart nearby 10 min drive if you need any last minute things too. Loved my stay here and would definitely come back!!

Christine’s place was amazing. We stood at the “Fika” cabin and it was great. It was super cozy and a well thought out space. It had plenty of room for me and my family. The cabin was stocked with all the essentials needed to a great time. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants a nice getaway with the family without sacrificing any amenities. The Cabin was incredible, we loved the neighborhood, the lake was awesome we had a blast with the Kayaks and the basketball game downstairs. The kitchen was spotless as well as the bedrooms and bathroom. We will look into booking this cabin in the future.

Njca was incredibly responsive but her property was self sufficient 🙂 the pool table and down stairs area is great to break away to but the upstairs deck is the best part in my opinion. The grill and deck is well equipped and the hot tub has a lot of settings. There is some bears in the area … but you can not avoid that in the poconos, we got a cool view of a mama bear while soaking in the hot tub 🙃

Macarena's place was exactly what I needed for a peaceful getaway! Nestled in a serene, tree-filled location, it truly lived up to its promise of tranquility. I booked my stay hoping for a few days of rest and relaxation, and that's precisely what I experienced. The place is incredibly scenic and has all the amenities necessary for a comfortable and unwinding stay. The big projector screen was a fantastic bonus – we had a great time watching movies. I only wish I could have stayed longer! I highly recommend Macarena's place for anyone seeking a quiet and rejuvenating retreat.

Mike’s place was amazing! My friends and I were able to celebrate our first Galentine’s celebration and Mike made it perfect for us. He was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. His home was amazing and accommodating for my friends and I. We look forward to visiting again soon.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Catia’s place. We enjoyed walks around the neighborhood, s’mores at the fire pit, sitting on the beautiful big covered porch. The amenities listed were all included. Catia’s guide was extremely helpful. The place is exactly as pictured. It was easy to get in and lock up when we left. We spent a lot of time exploring local spots, visited Hickory Run State Park, Hawk Falls, Austin T Blakeslee Natural Area. My boys loved the bunk beds (I loved the room darkening shades). The home was comfortable and Catia was a wonderful host.
