Congo Camp House in the forest

Rustic, character filled, architect designed cabin with a master loft and two small bedrooms constructed largely from recycled building materials, located in a rural-residential area on 5 acres of forest close enough to the ocean you can hear it in the distance. There are neighbours but it's relatively private. Just to be absolutely clear, the Camp House is not 'on' the beach but it's close. It takes about four minutes to get to Congo Beach by car. We are 'pet friendly'. Max guests - six people.

'Biliga' is close to the beach, cafes and the small village of Tuross . It is a quaint 1930's cottage. The house is light and airy, surrounded by bird life and within easy walking distance of the beach. Good for couples, singles and families (with well behaved children). Great for a beach holiday, golf, fishing, swimming, walking, cycling, and / or relaxing. An inspiring house for writers and painters needing a place to create. Not suitable for parties, large groups or school leavers events.

We have lots of wood for the fire in winter, the outdoor bath is wonderful for stargazing & the (shared) swimming pool heaven on a hot day. We enjoyed our stay at Vicki and Lyle's place. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked and place was really clean. There were really helpful clear instructions accompanied by photos on how to find the place and to get into the house. The location next to a lake and nearby walking track were a welcome bonus.

We had a fantastic stay here. The cabin was very comfortable & well equipped, & even nicer than we had imagined from the pictures. We especially appreciated the BBQ on the balcony so we could cook outside & take advantage of the views. Lovely service from Debra & the staff too.

Marcus’ place was so much better than we expected! The size was perfect for a couple! Larger than a standard hotel room - despite previous reviews saying it was small! It’s definitely larger than the pics show and such great value. The location is lovely and feels like you’re in the middle of nature at night time (when we arrived), then you wake up to a beautiful view in the morning through the trees down to the water. Marcus has all the facilities you need for an easy and comfortable stay. Highly recommend for anyone passing through like us or for a lovely weekend away in Tomakin - which by the way has a stunning swimming beach (Tomakin cove) for a morning dip! Cheers Marcus 🙏🏻
