Waterfront holiday rentals in Tyrifjorden

The apartment was modern and stylish, and at the same time cozy with a view of the garden in peaceful surroundings. It was clean and nice, and good furniture and bed. It was extra nice that the host had put out chocolate.

Very nice and accommodating host. Communication went well when I reserved on behalf of my colleagues. They had a cozy stay with everything they needed. Recommended!

The location is great - newer, walkable area full of restaurants and close to the water. Inside was clean and included the travel crib and high chair we requested for our 10 month old. Staircase is steep, which was shown in the pictures, but took my 3 year old a bit to feel comfortable with it.

Stian was a great host, incredibly responsive, friendly and flexible with our check in and check out. The apartment was lovely and in a beautiful area of Oslo. We highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in Norway. The place has a warm, authentic Norwegian charm that made me feel right at home. We had a very nice stay in Rødtangen. We stayed for four weeks in the beautiful little house with a large terrace and a beautiful view of the fjord. Mette and Mike are kind people. They are easy to communicate with. Everything is well arranged. We can recommend it. Greetings, Peter and Mieke

Location location location... I wanted to stay in Sandvika, because my mother lived there for 20 years, so I am very familiar with the area and it feels like home. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and feels very private, yet is centrally located, and easy to walk around the area for hiking, shopping, bus/train transfers, and easy to use trains and bus to connect to anywhere quickly. We had everything we needed, and were comfy and cozy and made ourselves at home. Very comfy beds. As described, the sleeping loft has a low ceiling. My daughter is not very tall and is young and limber, and was quite happy up there, but you probably don't want someone too tall up there. Host is very responsive and clearly communicates. They live in the house next to the rental, but we never saw them in over a week, so the rental is very private. Beautiful view of the bay and lovely sunsets from the deck.

We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

I was there for 5 weeks. The view is very nice and you have your privacy. On foot you can get to a large shopping center quite quickly, there is everything your heart desires. In general, you can get by very well on foot. I didn't test the public transport. The host is very friendly and easy to talk to. He had offered to take me on a hike, which I also enjoyed. He gave plenty of tips on what to do in the area but also tips for longer trips. All in all, a very great 5 weeks.

This is an absolutely gorgeous place that would highly recommend. A real farmer's idyll, with a lovely farmyard, a house you want to move into, and walk you a hundred meters down the road you have a swimming area that provides fresh bathrooms and postcard photos. We had a lovely stay at Svenn’s Airbnb. The apartment was clean and very well decorated, and the kitchen was well equipped. Ideal place for 2-3 people to stay, with a massive table which could host even more! Svelvik was a good place to explore southern Norway from- would recommend the walks from Spiralen and Drammen Sauna. We also walked up to Damvann lake from the apartment which was very beautiful and peaceful!

It’s a very quiet place, great place to relax and still be connected to the city. Comfortable and liveable. Great place for travels with small animals as well.

Beautiful apartment in a really beautiful place and really cozy inside. The living room window opens to a really beautiful view that can also be admired from the balcony. Beds, pillows, blankets and sheets really comfortable and high quality! The best dreams of my visits to different destinations so far. The location was perfect as we could easily walk to shops and restaurants and the Opera House. Public transport was also within walking distance and the canal was a lovely outlook.

From the beginning, there was good communication via email and SMS. We were personally picked up from the train station and taken to the apartment. Great service. The apartment was huge, with a large living room and bedroom. The windows went from ceiling to floor, so it was very bright. You didn't hear anything from neighbors, you hardly met anyone. Very safe house. A downside was the non-adjustable air conditioning. After 3 days, we had gotten used to the noise (maybe we were too tired from the many museum visits and the fresh air to hear anything). Unfortunately, there was noise from outside in the summer time: the restaurant "After work" boomed with the disco basses up to the apartment. And the last night (Saturday before Pentecost) was really bad: the Akerhusfestning noise stage was set up, and from Saturday evening to Sunday morning at 5 a.m. this disco bass noise echoed over to us again. We couldn't sleep and had to get up again at half past four.....

We had a great stay at Inger Sofie’s apartment! It was very clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—quiet, peaceful, and just a 3-minute walk from both the metro station and a supermarket. The host was very friendly and helpful, and we felt truly welcomed. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

a very tidy, modern apartment in a very convenient location in Oslo. Trams and buses were nearby which made sightseeing very easy, and it was within walking distance of Oslo Central Station. The apartment was exactly as pictured and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Truly one of, if not the best, AirBnB experiences we've had --and we are former superhosts when we owned a house we did an AirBnB in! The bathroom had a heated floor. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, and it was wonderful to have a washer/dryer, dishwasher and the ability to really make a home-cooked meal. The property was exceptionally quiet and we slept very well! Really, the only minor thing we could ask for was an iron and ironing board. If that's the only recommendation we can make, you know you are going to have a wonderful stay!
