We enjoyed our vacation during Christmas very much! The owners had decorated it very cozily for Christmas with even a real fresh Christmas tree and a bag with accessories so our kids could set up the tree. super nice!! Really a great house with all the comforts . Beautiful views. Quiet. Very nice, friendly people. Highly recommended! We definitely hope to be able to go here again!!! Great stay & a lovely cabin to enjoy serenity of surroundings. it feels very cozy tucked away on a hill. Enjoyed every moment spent here. Highly Recommended!!

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

This place has its interesting family history, love the interior decor a lot, especially the kitchen. But the best part is the garden. We were lucky that it was sunny and we spend the whole morning having breakfast and just chilling. Great starting point for hikes/walks and a great stop on the way from/to Oslo. Kristin met us when we arrived and she was very nice. Much recommended 👍

We had a wonderful stay at Marita’s place! She responded quickly to our messages, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Also our dog felt completely at ease. The area is very peaceful and quiet. From the house you have a beautiful view. Highly recommended!

Perfect for our family! The set up of the house had amazing flow and one of our favorite parts was having tea on the deck with the lovely view.

This was our second time staying here and Aleksander has upgraded with a sauna and the outdoor area as well. Lovely place, quiet, everything works great, and close enough to several ski centers and other attractions with plenty to do. The perfect place to disconnect!

Excellent apartment in Highland Lodge with great hosts too. We really like the the private feeling at the top floor and the amazing view of the valley and mountains. The kitchen is super well equipped and comfortable furniture in the entire apartment (they even have a baby crib and Trip Trap chair for toddlers). Monica is also a great host making you feel very welcome. Can highly recommend staying with her.

Top location. Easy to find, quiet and great with warm garage. Simple but efficient apartment. A one minute walk to the ski slopes🙂

Super nice hut. This one is suitable for five people, so the two of us had more than enough space. Good and quiet parking. Supermarkets, restaurants, shops in the immediate vicinity. Beautiful surroundings, ideal for motorcyclists.

We have had some wonderful days in beautiful nature and tranquility. The place exudes coziness and the view is just great. The area is very hilly, so good hiking shoes are a must. There are many beautiful trips close by, especially the trip to Hemsedal over the mountain is highly recommended. We highly recommend the place.
