The Olde Lolly Shop Bed & Breakfast in Mintaro

This stone and iron dwelling was originally a coach building business and is now our much loved home. We are delighted to be able to share with guests a private retreat with it's own entrance which is completely self contained with private amenities, separate living and bedroom area. Creature Comforts is on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Auburn, in the Clare and Gilbert Valley. Nestled between Vineyards and farm land it is a relaxing haven with beautiful views from the back deck. The property is close to The Riesling and Rattler Trails. Children under 12 years old not accepted at the property. Dog friendly if guests pet is host approved. Bookings taken from guests staying, not third party. Indoor wood fire is only to be used 1st May to Oct 31st, if needed.

Stables by the Vines

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.

Mintaro Cottage: Cypress Studio - 1 Bedroom

Nestled in the stunning Clare Valley wine region is a cosy stone cottage. Graced with views of the natural surroundings and carefully planned to provide guests with a private experience, Mintaro Cottage's Cyprus villa is a fabulous setting for escape and relaxation. Crafted in 1856 from slate into a carpenter’s barn, with extensive restoration and contemporary open plan. The Villa boasts vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and a charming wood fireplace.
