Family-friendly holiday rentals in Underhill

The house was perfect for us. We were a group of 8 and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep, plenty of space to move around, park our cars and sit while relaxing throughout the house. Ryan was so helpful and quick to respond if we had any questions. Lovely house, hope I get to return.

Not sure if it was the mattress, the sheets and quilt, the pillows, the Vermont woods, Vermont fresh air, or the rain hitting the roof… maybe all of it… but, my husband and I have not slept so well in… maybe EVER! Rob’s home is super comfy and dog friendly. The hot tub is a nice feature and works wonderfully. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful location for your visit, this hits all the marks. Sitting outside with your morning coffee is a treat. If weather doesn’t cooperate, recommend sitting in the den in front of the picture window. Our old dog truly appreciated exploring the fenced yard, and we loved allowing him off off-leash. Great place to stay!

I really enjoyed the quiet, private porch. A Cup of coffee, while watching the birds and hearing the river nearby was quite relaxing. Great location for viewing the stars at night & long slow strolls on the country dirt road.

Samantha and Chris's place was a perfect spot for a Smugglers Notch getaway! it's a beautiful home, perfect for a family of 4. Even in cold temperatures( at -5F and lower) with lots of snow, the place was cozy warm with the wood burning furnace (clean and devoid of smoke) as well a propane heater downstairs. Literally 2 turns from the slopes of a great family ski mountain! But the views and location of the property were amazing for those wanting to do other things than ski. Samantha was responsive and an excellent communicator. I have to throw in that everything in their kitchen was in excellent condition (every appliance) including sharp functional chef knives (an uncommon phenomenon for a renter) Thank you Samantha and Chris! Sharing your home with us was a touch- stone of great new family memories!

Beautiful spot to relax, reconnect and leave refreshed! We enjoyed everything about our stay, especially the sauna, living pool, and hike to the yurt! We would love to return, thank you for sharing such a peaceful place with us, it was exactly what we needed.

Absolutely wonderful stay! As a family of five, we couldn't have asked for a better place. The unit was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and had such a warm, homey feel—it truly felt like a home away from home. The mountain view from the living room window was beautiful, a perfect backdrop for our mornings and evenings. Jeff, the host was exceptional—extremely responsive, thoughtful, and helpful throughout our stay. Every question or request was handled quickly and kindly, which made our experience stress-free and enjoyable. We had some wifi issues which took time to resolve but Jeff helped and made sure it is taken care of. The apartment was impressively well-equipped with everything we needed, clearly a lot of care went into preparing the space for guests. The location was perfect for us— surrounded by beautiful trails that we explored as a family. If you are into skiing, the ski tracks are short drive away. It was the ideal base for both adventure and relaxation. Highly recommended

What a great experience! The craftsmanship of the treehouse was outstanding. The layout was perfect. My wife and I enjoyed complimentary waffles on the deck overlooking the pond every morning. We soaked in the hot tub in the evenings. The pond was beautiful to go canoeing on. We followed around a loon and got some great pictures. The summer season in Newport was just kicking off, so lots of restaurants and activities had odd hours that didn’t overlap with our stay. Overall, great experience and we plan to come back.

It was a great and convenient place. Clean with plenty of amenities. Although it sleeps 6, we had 3 people-- one in each bedroom.

Where do I start...from before I arrived, up until my departure...Joanne was attentive in every way possible. All my questions were answered with an immediate response. The home was extraordinary. The effort Joanne has put in to making it just like home shows. With an abundance of whimsical touches. Up until the day I left, I would see a new thing. As if the enchanting home wasn't enough, the back patio is a place of serenity...with the sounds and view of the river extraordinary. I could go on and on, but I will just say, "it was the best vacation I have ever had". One word describes this Airbnb...AMAZING!!!🩷. I will return next year! Amazing hosts with an amazing spot! Carole and Steve make you feel right at home. You are able to walk around and tour their property on your own which I thought was so cool. They have a beautiful and peaceful farm with some sweet animals walking around. Overall I would highly recommend this place for the comfortability and unique stay.

We loved our stay and hope to come back again!

We had a lovely time at this quaint mountainous home. The neighbor nearby had some horses that grazed near the home every morning and the vistas in the distance were incredible to see. We would love to come back again next year, maybe during the more peak foliage season. Thank you all so much for your hospitality, especially for providing us an extra night!

We’ve been staying at Mark‘s place for years. It’s our favorite winter vacation spot. This winter was the best we’ve ever had for skiing. There was tons of snow. We all just love it here and hope to continue the tradition in years to come 🌲☃️❄️

Linda was a fantastic host, and her home was even better than listed. The cabin was a good size for our family of four + dog; the 2 bed / 2 bath arrangement allowed for good privacy when needed. The fireplace was great for apres and winding down at night. Location is a nice mix of seclusion (off the Mountain Rd), but close to everything.

This cabin was such a dream. Tucked away in the woods, it gave us the perfect mix of peace, nature, and comfort. Everything was clean and so well equipped. it had everything we needed and more, which made our stay super easy and relaxing. My boyfriend and I really appreciated the quiet, peaceful, cozy vibe. We felt completely at home and could just unplug and enjoy the moment we spent our time playing board games, sipping coffee in the garden or making dinner together in the cute little kitchen. Emily was an absolute pleasure: very kind and thoughtful, and great to talk to. You can tell she really cares about the space and the people who stay in it. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already dreaming of coming back.

This is a top notch NEK Airbnb and we’ve stayed in many good ones! Hard to beat this part of VT as long as you know what you’re getting into (gravel roads, no cell service, black flies, etc). Will stay again here with our pup in a heartbeat!

Our family had a great time at the Topnotch Resorts. The unit was cozy and clean with everything we needed. It was great to have access to a washer and dryer to throw in the ski clothes from the day. The indoor pool and hot tub facility was beautiful with fresh towels available and and a family changing area. The outdoor pool and hot tub were also awesome with a view of the mountains in the background. Kelly at the front desk was a complete pleasure to work with. She answered all of our questions promptly and went above and beyond to help us and made sure our stay was amazing. We will be back!

great place close to Stowe.

Chad was an incredible host! He was extremely accommodating with any requests we had. The views from his place are breath-taking! We enjoyed snowshoeing from the backyard onto trails in the woods. I fell in love with his cat who visited daily! He kept the driveway plowed and salted in a timely fashion. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend his place!

We had a great stay at William’s. The location was beautiful and the house was comfortable. We had a great mix of day-tripping and relaxing with a view. We also ran into William and he was very helpful and friendly.

We could not have asked for a better place for our eclipse adventure. The two bedroom cabin was spotlessly clean, well-appointed, cute and plenty of space for the 4 of us. We loved being out in the woods and enjoyed our walks around the pond enormously. Easy to get to restaurants and other activities, but away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Not a thing to complain about, and would definitely recommend to anyone!

Our stay was wonderful at the cabin. The cabin was clean and centrally located to winter activities. Andrea was very responsive. Cant wait to go back again

Absolutely magical stay 🤩⭐️⭐️ If you’re looking for an escape of the city this is the perfect place!! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely immersed in nature without sacrificing any comfort. The cabin was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could need. 🫧 Lisa is such a great host and she is always there for her guests and everything they could possibly need. 💯 If you’ve ever wondered what the real definition of a hidden gem is I would 1000% say it is this beautiful cottage. 😍 I would go back any day and I’ll definitely stay even longer next time because this is such an incredible getaway cottage.
