Holiday rentals with a fireplace in União das freguesias de Azeitão (São Lourenço e São Simão)

One of my favourite AirBnBs I've stayed in!! Joao was extremely responsive and helpful, the house is even better than depicted, everything was perfectly clean and brilliant for a big group. the bathrooms and bedrooms especially all felt clean and modern, and the pool was just lovely. great to have privacy yet be so close to the city center! I honsetly couldn't reccomend this place more 🙏 Thank you for a lovely stay!

Bruno and Rita we're wonderful hosts and the Airbnb was charming, spacious, clean, and very close to the beach. It was exactly what we were looking for. And you can see the ocean from multiple rooms which really makes a beach vacation compete.

We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

We had a fantastic stay at Sofia’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. She took the time to personally meet us, brought us some fresh Pastéis de Belém and wine, which made our experience feel very special. Her instructions and recommendations were incredibly helpful, ensuring we felt comfortable and knew the best places to explore. Whether it was tips on local restaurants or guidance on how to navigate the area, her insights made our trip so much smoother. The space itself was cozy and well-equiped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The appartement is on 3 floors, there is 1 bathroom on 1st floor to be used for bedroom on 3rd floor. The other bathroom is within the masterbed room. We truly appreciate the personal touch and care that Sofia puts into hosting, and we would highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a great experience. She also accomodated an earlier check-in as our flights arrived early morning.

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. We have not often rented such a well-maintained, stylish and high-quality furnished and well-equipped house on AirBnB! The rooms are very comfortable and spacious and there is more than the necessary equipment available - beach towels, bathrobes, supplies for use in the kitchen, etc. The house is not quite as idyllic in a somewhat remote new development area (which we knew from the advertisement), but it is very practical for excursions to Lisbon or to the sea. A car is definitely recommended. Thanks for the great stay, we felt very comfortable!

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

Thank you for the nice stay in Lisbon in a very nice apartment with comfortable master bed, great view from the balcony with wonderful view. Great kitchen, exciting furniture with history. In the windowless, small bathroom, it quickly becomes very stuffy, but still well equipped for the size.

Beautiful property, scenic views of the sea and sunset, fast wifi and Netflix. Sara was quick to respond to my questions and was very helpful. I recommend this place for those who love peaceful, quiet and relaxing surroundings.

Our stay with Artur in the Sun and Castleview Apartment was nothing short of wonderful. Artur and his parents were welcoming, friendly, and had clear communication. The apartment was clean and easy to access many Lisboa sites and neighborhoods. You do need to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to the apartment but that didn’t bother us. The view and accommodations are well worth the steps. The personal welcome from Artur’s family, wine, pastries, orange juice (for our underage child), and coffee made us feel welcome and right at home. Thanks for an amazing stay!

beautiful, spacious apartment in great location. added bonus of an outside terrace to relax after a busy day. very close to train station where hop on/off buses and tuk tuks will take you to all the sights. trains make it a little noisy, but worth it for the location. plenty cafes and restaurants around

We had an amazing 4-night stay in this beautiful apartment! From the moment we booked, the host was extremely responsive and helpful—quick to answer any questions and even allowed us to check in early, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. The apartment itself is stunning, with gorgeous decorations that make it feel both stylish and comfortable. It’s located in an incredible neighborhood right in the heart of Alfama—perfect for exploring on foot. We loved all the food, drink, and shopping recommendations provided; every place we tried was fantastic. Overall, it was a perfect home base for our trip. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

A perfect stay. Very clean house identical to the photos, located in a very quiet neighborhood and close to the beaches. Perfect for a long weekend or even a week's vacation. The services offered are excellent. Very warm welcome, I would recommend it.

The photos do not do the size or beauty of this home justice! I have stayed at a lot of Airbnbs and there is not one that I would rank more highly than Francisco’s. Clean and practical but with old charm the home welcomes you immediately upon entering. The views are stunning, location convenient, the kitchen well equipped and the pool relaxing. It is the perfect space to unwind and spend quality time with friends or family. I would highly recommend!

From booking to leaving we could not fault the hosts or property. Before arriving the host answered all our questions - we had concerns about getting around as we chose not to hire a car, host reassured us Uber etc would work out fine for us, even for a supermarket run. He was correct, we had no issues at all and rates are very reasonable. The property was beautifully clean and equipped, a lovely welcome basket awaited us. Hosts messaged a couple of times during our 5 night stay to check we had everything we needed. Nice quiet neighbourhood. We had a lovely relaxing stay. Can’t fault it. Thank you!

An idyllic place to spend a week with close friends. The house was made for both relaxing in gorgeous spaces and easy exploration of the area. Meal prep for a large crowd was a breeze in the well equipped kitchen. There is a great market close by and there are several restaurants within a short distance from the house. João was an incredible host, checking in a few times to make sure we were comfortable and well supplied. We felt fortunate to have landed in such a wonderful place. Thank you João!

The most beautiful place, with all the essentials needed. I and two friends stayed during the power outage and Pedro was so helpful! He came along with candles for us and checked in on us during the stay. We will never forget this! Thank you Pedro!

Absolutely breathtaking – even better than the photos! This place completely exceeded our expectations. The photos truly don’t do it justice. The view is hands down the best I’ve experienced at any Airbnb – simply unforgettable. The pool is a stunning, one-of-a-kind feature, built right into the cliffside with direct access to a beautiful, secluded beach. During busy times, the road to the beach is closed to the public, but staying here gives you exclusive access – a huge bonus. The house itself is spacious with plenty of beds and private rooms, perfect for groups or families. Check-in was seamless and hassle-free. I can’t recommend this place enough – we’re already dreaming about coming back!

We felt right at home in this lovely rental. It was so nice, bright, very clean and had everything you could possibly need. Kids (4&6) loved the yard and played everyday for hours while we relaxed in the outdoor kitchen. The beach was a short drive with lots of easy parking in May. Great place to stay for day trips to Lisbon and Sintra. Antonio was a great host and easy to reach. They left us lovely fruits and pumpkin jam and delicious cake.

We only stayed 2 nights and were not present during the day, but the accommodation met our expectations. The house is large with a garden and a large and very nice terrace.
