Historical Vintage Villa Within a Mountain and Castle

Rediscover mid-century modern aesthetics at this vintage inspired home. The residence features warm woods, contrasting textures and motifs, light hues, a floating staircase, a minimalist interior design approach, and rooftop views from the balcony to the castle and mountains. Located in the old town, nearby the church of Saint John, you will find the area quiet and silent, all you need to spend some relaxing days. Casa do Adro offers all the amenities of a new modern house, but with the retro/vintage touch and comfort. On the ground floor we have a fully vintage style equipped kitchen with dish washer, laundry, living room and service toilet. There is a big table where 8 people can comfortably sit for dinner, and where we daily serve breakfast with Regional fruit, home made jams, juice and locally bread. The living room offers a nice flat TV and sofa. You can go through 100 international channels, or simply rest or read a book, inside or outside on the terrace. The first floor has two rooms, both with double bed. The bathroom is shared between the two rooms and each room offers air conditioning and splendid views over the mountains and the castle of Porto de Mós. Guests will have access to the whole house. I have limited availability, even though I am reachable 24 hours on the phone and email. Whenever I can, and if my guests feel like, I enjoy a good chat and get to know people. Sharing experiences makes part of the Airbnb concept. The Villa do Adro is located in the historical area of Porto de Mós village. Guests can easily walk to places of interest such as Porto de Mós Castle, the town hall square, and the Serra de Aire and Candeeiros Natural Parks with great trails, caves and views. Parking is always available by the house. The walk to the Village takes 5 mins, and from there you can take buses to the main attractions (Nazaré, Leiria, Fátima, Batalha, etc). We will get in touch with the guests to arrange the check in.

Na propriedade existem dois espaços com acesso ao jardim e piscina exterior Dentro do complexo existe sempre alguém disponível para o informar ou esclarecer em tudo aquilo que for necessário, desde sugestões a lugares a visitar de grande interesse cultural artístico ou gastronómico que existe na região. Situado numa zona rural, em Leiria, o espaço beneficia da localização no meio da vegetação, proporcionando uma experiência imersiva na natureza. Faça uma caminhada pela estrada do Vale Maior. Próximo de serviços (bomba de gasolina, banco, farmácia e padaria).

The stay was excellent! The house is very clean, comfortable and corresponds exactly to the photos. The location is great, in a calm and quiet area, with free parking nearby. Although I did not need to cook, I noticed that the kitchen is very well equipped and has everything that is necessary. The host, Orlando, was extremely friendly, approachable and provided all the useful directions right from the start. Without a doubt a very positive experience. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

I highly recommend staying at Fonte Seca B&B. The advice from the hosts were very clear (very responsive before the check-in and flexible). The house was very confortable and clean. If you're looking for a home from home, then this is the villa for you and your family/friends! This amazing spotlessly clean property is large, light and airy located up in the hills of Leiria and had everything we needed (the kitchen was extremely well equipped!!) to make our stay very comfortable. There was an assortment of games at our disposal (both indoors and outdoors) for all the family to enjoy....and we did! 🙂 The villa is a short drive from Leiria town which has a very large supermarket, shops and restaurants. Our host Luis kindly left us a selection of local fresh cakes for us upon arrival. He was very quick to respond to any queries we had, and before our arrival sent us lots of useful recommendations on restaurants, places to go etc. We highly recommend this accommodation and the very welcoming hospitality. Thank you Luis! Loretta and Malcolm.

Claudia is a very nice, warm and helpful host. She had some good tips. We liked the accommodation very much and breakfast on the terrace with eucalyptus scent in the nose-fantastic. Whole property is very harmonious and of course designed with a lot of skill and the pool of course a special cooling off after a long trip in the evening.
