Historical Vintage Villa Within a Mountain and Castle

Rediscover mid-century modern aesthetics at this vintage inspired home. The residence features warm woods, contrasting textures and motifs, light hues, a floating staircase, a minimalist interior design approach, and rooftop views from the balcony to the castle and mountains. Located in the old town, nearby the church of Saint John, you will find the area quiet and silent, all you need to spend some relaxing days. Casa do Adro offers all the amenities of a new modern house, but with the retro/vintage touch and comfort. On the ground floor we have a fully vintage style equipped kitchen with dish washer, laundry, living room and service toilet. There is a big table where 8 people can comfortably sit for dinner, and where we daily serve breakfast with Regional fruit, home made jams, juice and locally bread. The living room offers a nice flat TV and sofa. You can go through 100 international channels, or simply rest or read a book, inside or outside on the terrace. The first floor has two rooms, both with double bed. The bathroom is shared between the two rooms and each room offers air conditioning and splendid views over the mountains and the castle of Porto de Mós. Guests will have access to the whole house. I have limited availability, even though I am reachable 24 hours on the phone and email. Whenever I can, and if my guests feel like, I enjoy a good chat and get to know people. Sharing experiences makes part of the Airbnb concept. The Villa do Adro is located in the historical area of Porto de Mós village. Guests can easily walk to places of interest such as Porto de Mós Castle, the town hall square, and the Serra de Aire and Candeeiros Natural Parks with great trails, caves and views. Parking is always available by the house. The walk to the Village takes 5 mins, and from there you can take buses to the main attractions (Nazaré, Leiria, Fátima, Batalha, etc). We will get in touch with the guests to arrange the check in.

Na propriedade existem dois espaços com acesso ao jardim e piscina exterior Dentro do complexo existe sempre alguém disponível para o informar ou esclarecer em tudo aquilo que for necessário, desde sugestões a lugares a visitar de grande interesse cultural artístico ou gastronómico que existe na região. Situado numa zona rural, em Leiria, o espaço beneficia da localização no meio da vegetação, proporcionando uma experiência imersiva na natureza. Faça uma caminhada pela estrada do Vale Maior. Próximo de serviços (bomba de gasolina, banco, farmácia e padaria).

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso da Celia. Il posto è bellissimo, completo di tutto e molto pulito. Clelia è stata davvero cordiale e accogliente: ci ha perfino preparato delle deliziose frittelle di baccalà! Inoltre, ci ha consigliato un ottimo ristorante dove abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Esperienza super positiva, assolutamente consigliato!

This was by far the best AirBnb we‘ve ever stayed in. It‘s an absolute heaven and we would love to come back! The room is spotlessly clean and so cozy with lots of space and privacy. Breakfast is served by the pool and it’s absolutely delicious with juice from oranges farmed in the garden. On the first day, Marie served handmade Pana cotta and Canelés - so good! Marie and Fabrice are great hosts. Helpful, very friendly and always with a smile. We felt right at home. We also fell in love with Maurice and Lulu, the two cats. By car, the beach is 10 minutes away with good restaurants recommended by Fabrice. There are also several grocery stores in this area. But you will need a car! Marie and Fabrice - thank you so much for hosting us. We could feel the hard work and love you guys put into creating this paradise.

We absolutely loved to stay with Leonor, her husband and her daughter. We were welcomed so nicely with some port wine and apples from a garden, and she explained things we could do in the area and some basic questions we had about the language. It’s a great place for people who want to get to know the locals, have a quiet private room but also have people around when chilling in the hammock or garden. The host is very nice and so hospitable, the region is beautiful and close to several great places to go. Absolutely loved the stay and can’t wait to come again.
