Bright, airy and private guesthouse nestled in Houston's historic Heights neighborhood. Minutes away from local eateries, unique shopping opportunities and everything Houston has to offer, this guesthouse is the perfect retreat. Relax in the garden, enjoy a night of s'mores around the fire-pit or just unwind on the couch while watching a movie. The guesthouse overlooks a spacious yard that is shared with the owners and their dogs. This guesthouse is bright and airy with vaulted 12 foot ceilings in the living room and kitchen. The kitchen features new stainless steel appliances, beautiful quartz counter-tops and all the basic necessities (including a blender, toaster, coffee maker, etc.). We always provide complimentary coffee to help get our guests day started off properly. The living room features comfortable and modern furniture, including a sofa bed and a 40" television with Xfinity X1 cable provided (with voice command). The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with crisp, lush bedding. You will also find a desk that's perfect for doing a little work (if you have to) on your laptop. The alarm clock has a Bluetooth setting if you want to listen to your own music while reading in bed. In the closet you'll find a full size washer and dryer, wooden hangers for your clothes and an iron and ironing board to keep your outfits looking neatly pressed. The bathroom features natural light which highlights the beautiful accent tile in the shower surround. There is a full-sized bathtub in case you want to take a soak. The entire guesthouse has its own WiFi along with hardwired internet connections. We take our commitment to our guests seriously and want to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay wonderful. Guests will have full access to the apartment. Guests can also enjoy accessing the backyard, featuring a seating area with a fire-pit and access to a propane powered BBQ grill. Check-in couldn't be easier. The apartment has a key pad for entry and guests will be provided with an access code prior to arrival. Some tips for using various appliances and features are located on laminated cards around the apartment (so you can sync your device to Bluetooth audio, log into WiFi, etc.) A simple house manual will be located on the kitchen counter along with some highlights about the area the guesthouse is located in. The guesthouse is located at the rear of a property in Houston Heights. Walk only a few blocks to reach the hike and bike trail. Shop on the famous 19th street nearby, and visit a wealth of local antique shops, art galleries, and restaurants. Our property is located right on a major bus line that makes for a 15 minute trip into downtown Houston where you can access theaters, restaurants and the city's light-rail line that can take you straight to Midtown (where you will find a variety of bars and restaurants) and the Museum District. Street parking is available for those with their own car and the city features ride-sharing services like Lyft and Uber. No smoking in the unit, no pets under any circumstances, no drugs or illegal activities.

This is a 2 person maximum stay- not suitable for children, we do not host pets. This original tiny house has no separate bedrooms. Great relaxing get away for couples or a small group up to 4 people. Indulge yourself with our special handmade soaps and all cotton linens. Local art and handmade items add to the charm of this cottage. Strolling the flower gardens then enjoy your coffee or a tall cold one in the vintage gazebo. Lucinda is set on the back of the 2 acre Historic Home Stay property behind the Robert Chadwell - Idlewild home. We are home most of the time. We can refresh your cooler with ice from the main house, offer local advice or just let you enjoy your stay. The cottage is in Madison, an area rich in music history. It was the go-to location for country music stars of the 1950s and 60s. Visit nearby Amqui Train Station, which was saved by Johnny Cash, and the Carter Family home. Madison is part of Metro Nashville, 7 miles from downtown, 3 miles from hip East Nashville. Yazoo Brewery is 2 miles away on Myatt Dr. We are on transportation bus line. All ride services are available to area. We have ample off street parking. We are located 1 mile down Neelys Bend Rd off Gallatin Pike. We are near I 65- off Old Hickory Blvd or Briley Parkway at Gallatin Pike near the National Cemetery. We are a quick 15 minutes from BNA- Nashville International Airport. Take the local's short cut up Ellington Parkway to get downtown in 10 minutes. Located 10 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes from miles of walking trails in Peeler Park in Neelys Bend on the Cumberland river.

Studio by the Beach with Separate Entrance

Open the sliding door to let the gentle sea breezes waft in and settle down to stream a favorite show on the Smart TV. The interior blends coastal touches with boho chic, and there are little luxuries like a work space and secluded private outdoor space. I adhere to the CDC cleaning protocols. I use UV C light for added disinfecting and sanitizing of the Studio, and have also added a Dyson air purifying fan and heater to insure you have clean air. This studio is located on the first floor of my three story home. The studio shares the first floor with the garage so you don't have any shared walls. You have two windows, one in the bathroom and a sliding glass door in the bedroom, they bring in light and the sea breeze but have no views. While this studio is private you may hear footsteps above, music drifting in from other parts of the house, and the sounds that come from everyday living. You'll have one parking space available on the right side of the driveway. More free parking is usually available at the end of the street, 15 houses down on panama. During the day there's extra parking at kiddie beach. I live on the two top floors of the house so i'm easily accessible for as much or as little interaction as needed. The setting on a quiet street is only half a block from channel Island harbors Kiddie Beach and 1.5 blocks to Silver Strand Beach, a popular surf spot and vantage point for catching the sunset. Watch for whales and discover a yoga studio, corner market, and salon, all only moments away. Hollywood by the sea has unique sounds too. You'll hear sea lions, boat horns, and on occasion a fog horn. Every morning at 8am you'll hear our national anthem, and at sunset you'll hear taps. You'll have to pay attention or you'll miss it. It's one of many thing I love about this area.

Please do not burn the small cut logs that are located on the porch. They are for the potbelly stove only. We have to cut them special. Adorable cabin sits on 1 1/2 acres with breathtaking views located in the small town of Yucca Mesa. Stores and restaurants are a 10-minutes drive away. Joshua Tree National Park is a 15-minute drive away.
