Had awesome stay! House was amazing had everything we needed. The backyard oasis was amazing! Would stay there again in a heart beat.

When I read other guests reviews, I could tell that Janet sincerely cared for all of her guests. If you are searching for a home away from home, stop searching because Janet is the GEM in the Sunshine Coast treasure box.

What a wonderful house in a fantastic location. The house was very homely and restful and was more than adequate for our eight family members. Penny and Andy were always very responsive to any queries we had. This made our stay very easy and enjoyable. We hope to return in the future.

Priska and Rudy are really nice. we enjoyed our 5 night stay. we enjoyed the pool as well as the weather was nice. we would stay again if we are ever in Vancouver area again.

'Hollywood North' is a bit of a misnomer - the home is much more classic, warm and comfortable, with owners who provide timely and helpful communication and assistance. 'West Coast Charm and Grace' might be more descriptive. The cost of the accommodation, though not unsubstantial, was well worth it. We were a group of 9 adults from 2 branches of one family who meet every Thanksgiving to reconnect. The bedrooms, the bathrooms, the 2 living areas, the dining room, the outdoor terrace, the swimming pool and hot tub, the gardens, and the very impressive kitchen all served to make the holiday one we will cherish. Everything you need to make the house your home was supplied - inspired us to stay in and cook as a family a vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner! In short, a beautiful home and great hosts in a lovely setting. Could not ask for more.

Super responsive communication from the host. Home was very much as described in the photos - and we were pleased and comfortable here. The interior garden area is really peaceful. Will look forward to staying again.

We had a fabulous stay in Rich's place. The house had plenty of room for our group of 7 adults to relax and enjoy our time together. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to navigate. The beds and linens are comfortable. Water pressure is awesome! Parking is readily available right out front. We even took the bus downtown one day...SO easy and convenient. I highly recommend staying in this lovely home.

Julie and Geoff were amazing hosts! We had everything we needed with our stay. The Airbnb was very clean, cozy, and comfortable, and was in a great location close enough to everything, but far enough to have a relaxing and comfortable stay away from the busy-ness of downtown. The Airbnb was stunning and Julie and Geoff were exceptionally kind and accommodating to us, we would go back in a heartbeat! 10/10 recommend your stay at The Secret Garden!

My cousin and I had a lovely visit at Linling’s place. The view is as promised and we found it a bit mesmerizing day or night to watch the boats on the bay—either sitting outside or from the apartment. The beds were very comfortable. I don’t normally rent basement apartments on AirbNb but I have no regrets about taking a chance on this one. We had complete privacy, lots of light (the entire wall facing the water is windows), and barely heard muffled footsteps more than once or twice. The location is super convenient to Horseshoe Bay, Lighthouse Park, and the neighborhoods in West Vancouver with great food options. Parking is easy. I even walked down to the Bay a couple of mornings (I don’t mind hills). I highly recommend. The owner is very responsive and a great communicator.

This was a aboslutley beautiful space! The view is breathtaking and the high windows, wood beams and balaconies make the whole thing quite dreamy. There is also a amazing bathtub on the lower floor that overlooks the ocean which was my happy place. They keep the space very clean and well stocked with the key things you may need to make your stay comfortable (shower ammenities, basic kitchen supplies, great towels). I went with my kid, parents, sister and her baby and were quite comfortable with the three bedrooms and large living room/ kitchen. The fireplace made for a cozy atmosphere in the evenings as you watch the sunset and birds flying overhead. It is also convenientily located 5 minutes from the ferry terminal. The only challenging thing for us was that the home is situated immediately against the street and there is no sidewalk to walk with kids/ to the beach etc. There is also no real backyard for kids to run and play in.

A cozy and private place to stay. The apartment is located below ground level, but it feels comfortable and quiet. While the room isn’t large, it includes everything you need: a bed, private bathroom, closet, Keurig, microwave, and small refrigerator. The bathroom is modern and very clean. Tamara, the host, is kind and very responsive. One of the highlights of the location is the nearby forest and walking trails—perfect for enjoying peaceful time in nature. There are a few grocery and convenience stores within walking distance (about 10–30 minutes each way), though there isn’t a bus stop within a 5-minute walk. If you enjoy walking and value privacy in a quiet, nature-adjacent setting, this is a great option near UBC.

The host, Parmvir, was very responsive and helpful from start to finish. The home is almost brand new, nice finishes and quality throughout. The parking (2 large SUVs) was a doddle. Lots of parking in front of house. Dunbar is a lovely neighbourhood, everything you need is close by. The price was also very competitive. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend Parmvir and this property. 4 thumbs up!

The house is wonderful for our family stay in Vancouver. The location is very quiet and convenient . Lily and Sam always replied messages in hours and help with anything we need during our stay.

This was conveniently located very close to UBC. Great neighborhood with picturesque homes. Dining, cafes boutiques close by. Bedroom has lots of windows making the space feel more spacious. Jian was extremely responsive and available.

The location was great as points of interest were relatively in walking distance. Plenty of parking in the surrounding areas. Keyless access was nice as it’s one less thing to worry about on our trip. The place was very clean when we arrived and had a lot of amenities such as a washer and dryer, a full kitchen with all your pots, pans and utensils. Overall, my first Airbnb experience at this location and with Ty was an A+. Would highly recommend.

Excellent location and very nice place with lots of natural light

Gorgeous waterfront property in a beautiful location. The home was bright, modern, and immaculately clean. Comfy beds and linens, and cozy visiting areas. Appreciated the access to paddleboards and kayaks to have a paddle on the water. John was very communicative and friendly, and provided lots of great info regarding the property and area. Amazing stay!

Ella is such a nice host! One of the best I have ever dealt with. She was very concerned for us to have a smooth check-in, made sure we had everything we need,she went beyond with providing little snacks for kids and made sure we were happy. Ella was always available throughout the day when I needed to ask something via message. The basement was clean,neat,renovated,everything was working smoothly and we even had an oven to cook. It was a privilege to have all the equipments running smooth and we felt like at home. All the meals were home made during our stay. It is not my first Airbnb in Vancouver,so I truly appreciate what we had in Ella’s place:) The place is close to amenities,Save-on-Foods and located in super safe and beautiful neighborhood. I would definitely come back to Ella whenever I come to Vancouver. Definitely will be in-touch.

Keke is a wonderful host, and the place is very great. Check-in was a breeze. We were able to leave our things because we arrived early, but she let us know when it was ready for check-in. She had some welcome snacks out for us when we arrived. The place had everything we need. It might just get a little warm in summer. Still there is a fan provided… Also the sofabed was actually good and comfortable to sleep in. Parking is available, except if it’s school pick-up time, street could get full! Location-wise, there are lots of restaurants, cafés and stores within a 20-min walk. The neighborhood itself is pretty peaceful. By bus, it might be a bit of a travel to downtown, not sure, we usually take Uber or Lyft. Very accessible to UBC via R4. Keke is very responsive and helpful. I recommend staying at her place.

We stayed for a week and overall had a pleasant experience. The space is clean, cozy, and makes for a great private getaway. The sofa bed was a nice bonus, and the host was very kind and responsive throughout our stay. However, the soundproofing between this unit and the adjoining one is quite poor, so noise from the other unit could be heard. The Wi-Fi was also a bit slow sometimes but we still managed to do daily tasks and watch movies. Overall, it’s a charming place with a lot of restaurants nearby. We would come back for our next visit and recommend this place to others.

Great stay. Close to the busstop that takes you into downtown vancouver. House is situated in a beautiful part of vancouver too. The room itself was great cozy and great attention to detail. Stocked with all the amenities you could ask for and more. Very easy to communicate with host aswell. Would recommend for anyone staying in vancouver

Location was great! Hosts were friendly and helpful. Great recommendations for the area. Can’t wait to go back. Would absolutely stay with them again!!
