Rosedale accommodation is perfect for a family of four, two adults and two children, or three adults. Our property is situated in Rosebery Highlands 4 km from New Denver. We have four acres of beautifully landscaped gardens overlooking the Valhalla Provincial Park. We have an amazing vista looking 20 km down Slocan Lake with incredible weather watching. There are beaches, cycling, hiking trails, skiing, and boating opportunities. We happily lend our canoe, with paddles and life jackets too.

I have endeavored to create a comfortable space that provides a wonderful base for adventuring. The walls are covered in local art, I love showcasing local artisans. Paintings are reminiscent of Nelson and are for sale. The beautiful king sized bed and live edge wood counters are taken from sustainably harvested trees and created by a local craftsman. The upstairs is spacious and features a wood burning stove. The downstairs is a beautiful grotto bathroom with a sunken tub big enough for two.

Uphill Sanctuary is a bright & cozy 300 sq. ft. basement guest suite in Nelson, BC. The Rail Trail trailhead is across the road, making it perfect for strolls, mountain biking, or dog walks. Downtown is a 15–20 minute walk away (though the return trip is a steep climb!) Your suite includes private parking, a comfortable living space & a kitchenette equipped with a toaster oven, microwave, fridge, kettle, & coffee grinder. Although we don't have pets of our own, we welcome well-behaved fur babies.
