Close to Furusund, the summer town of Norrtälje and Grisslehamn for trips to Åland.

By car, you can make excursions to local farm shops, Ekolsund Castle, Hjälstaviken and also to the swimming area in Lake Mälaren within 10 minutes. If you want to take the bus to Uppsala (40 min) or Enköping (15 min), they go directly 230 meters from the house.

There is good bus communication to, for example, Stockholm or Grisslehamn for day trips. Norrtälje city is also a nice excursion destination.
