House holiday rentals in Uptown/Carrollton, New Orleans

The home was absolutely beautiful. As a host, David stayed in contact through the entire process, and including through out our stay. We highly recommend David and his property. We will be visiting again and staying at David’s place.

We stayed at Pool Haven last week while moving our daughter into Tulane, and it was a fantastic home base for a very busy trip. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to Magazine Street, which made it easy to grab coffee, shop, or find great food in between all the moving errands. The house itself was clean, spacious, and had a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The pool was such a nice bonus—perfect for cooling off and relaxation together. Edward and David were incredibly gracious hosts—responsive, thoughtful, and so easy to communicate with. And Marlene, their sweet dog, was truly an angel! She added a special, comforting presence that made us feel right at home. We’d absolutely recommend Pool Haven to other Tulane families or anyone visiting New Orleans. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

My family travels to New Orleans quite frequently, and this is one of the top AirBNBs at which we have stayed. It was spacious and appeared just like the pictures on the website. It is in a great area of town, in walking distance to shopping and restaurants. It is also very close to two grocery stores. The pool was a nice addition and perfect for our 6 yo son. Michael and Marcia were communicative and we were appreciative that they let us check in early on our day of arrival. Would highly recommend a stay here.

The house was just what our family needed for our trip to NOLA. The location is perfect. It took us about 15 minutes to get to wherever we wanted to go. There are plenty of restaurants and markets close by and within walking distance. The neighborhood was friendly and felt very safe. The house was just as described and was a nice place to come back to after a long day exploring. The hosts supplied so many things that are often forgotten by travelers. The pool was a welcome respite after a long hot day. The house provides plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. NOLA definitely has its own vibe and this house allowed us to feel like the locals during our stay. Thanks for sharing.

The location of Jason’s house was great - we were within a 10-15 minute drive of just about everything we wanted to do. The house looked exactly like the pictures but was bigger than the pictures make it look. Jason was very responsive when we had questions and provided local recommendations.

This was our second time staying at one of Thomas' properties, and we had another great stay. The home is beautifully decorated and maintained, and has everything you need for an easy and enjoyable stay. Thomas was very accommodating with check-in time and our last-minute request for a pack n' play -- a fantastic host! We found the neighborhood very friendly, and enjoyed the proximity to the Lafitte Greenway (access is just a block away -- we didn't even realize this when we rented the place!) and local businesses like Flour Moon and the Broadside. Highly recommend!

Well appointed and comfortable home with nice bed, good water pressure, great AC and friendly, helpful host, living right on the premises. Walkable to great restaurants and bars on Magazine street. About a $15 uber to French Quarter and Marigny.

This is a great cottage to stay. The residential area is safe and quiet; and close to shopping and restaurants on Magazine st and St. Charles. Luv uptown. Best area of New Orleans yet close enough to to the CBD and the Quarter... Julia is a great host.. considers all needs!

We enjoyed our stay at Clay's place and highly recommend it. My wife and I had a long weekend to visit our daughter at Tulane. There was plenty of room for all three of us. The kitchen was well equipped and the house very clean and looked as it did on the site. Full size washer and dryer was nice. Wifi was fast and reliable. Plenty of towels, blankets, etc. The neighborhood is very quiet and we always had parking right out in front of the house. It was fun to stay in this typical New Orleans style house with all the rooms connected. It's a short walk to Magazine street with a number of great restaurants, Whole Foods and coffee places. We also appreciated the easy access to Audobon Park. Clay was friendly and responsive. All good!

The house was exactly as described. The beds were extremely comfortable and cozy. Anthony was very accommodating and let us check in a few hours early. Great location to restaurants and the trolley.

Kimberly’s place was perfect for us. Every time I walked in the door I felt peaceful. Perfect amount of decorating, understated furniture with New Orleans flair. The home is immaculate!! Not a speck of dust anywhere. The floors are original and wonderful to walk on. The high ceilings and chandeliers made the rooms feel special and even more spacious. Perfect blend of original, restored and updated. Super comfortable beds. Real plants in every room!—all the right touches to make me feel at home. Highly recommend!!

We are parents of a Tulane student and have stayed here twice during our daughter’s time at the university. Great location. Small but nice place. Perfect for parent couple visiting. Hosts are helpful and logistics are streamlined

The location was perfect for us, we were in town for Jazzfest. Lenin and Daniel were both responsive and had great recommendations. The bed could be a bit more firm but that is my preference. The house had a fantastic restaurant on the corner, Luvi! It's a quaint and cute place, perfect for a couple's weekend!

Mike’s place was amazing! It was such a cute house and perfectly positioned for everywhere we needed to go while visiting New Orleans!

We enjoyed our time in Uptown. The neighborhood is great and it felt safe for our family. The backyard space was a nice plus we hadn’t known about and got to enjoy during our stay. Will definitely stay if plans go that way again, highly recommend!

Great house in a fantastic neighborhood with many walkable shops and restaurants. Margeau was a great host who was happy to give recommendations and was quick to respond to our questions. Highly recommend and will stay here again.

Chris was an excellent host - very friendly and responsive. The home worked well as we had a dog with us. The driveway accommodated our 2 cars and the yard was fenced/gated for our dog. We didn't use the kitchen much as we ordered/ate out with the many nearby restaurants. The home is older but clean (but that is the charm of NOLA). Pricewise it was a good value for our stay.

I love this Airbnb! It is in a wonderful location within walking distance to Audubon Park and fun shops and restaurants. It is immaculate, they are very nice and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

This place is a great neighborhood spot, near Tulane. It was perfect got us. You get more room compared to other similarly priced options in the area. Only thing is if you are more than 2, using the living room space, just know there’s only 2 chairs at the dining table. They were really cool, too, about letting us leave our bags after check out, to collect after our day, before heading to the airport.

The house was beautiful - if anything, I feel like it *exceeded* my expectations. Super spacious, lovingly decorated, all that good stuff. And the location was perfect, too; close to everything you want to be close to, but with enough privacy to get a good night's sleep. But that's just the house itself. Jason & Michelle were INCREDIBLE hosts. Just extraordinarily accommodating/communicative. I had a kinda wacky shipping request (due to my line of work/reason for being there), and Michelle wasn't just "okay with it", she was my dang partner in the whole ordeal. Simply above and beyond. I wouldn't just recommend this spot to a pal; I would chastise them for going elsewhere. 6 stars!!! <3

Giuliano let me check in early and met me at the house. He was as friendly and helpful in person as he had been on text (i.e. very) and walked me through everything I needed to know about the place, from the air conditioners to which light switches governed what, the locks, all of it. I don't always like to intersect with my Airbnb host but in this case there were several facets to the place that would have been trickier to figure out on own. So that first little "tutorial" was hugely valuable. Plus Giuliano is warm presence who was just nice to be around during our brief little interaction. I'll definitely want to stay there again someday :)
