The "Bweni beach lodge" is a quiet, beautiful lodge on the beach. Our bungalow sits straight on the beach, 10 m from the sea, with private terrace and ensuite bathroom. The two king-size beds have mosquito net. There is a fan in the room. Breakfast with tea and coffee is included and every day we prepare lunch and dinner based on what is available in the village and what the fishermen bring us. We have 1 cat and 2 dogs- all very loveable. There is electricity and clean water.

we loved the stay at Whaleshark. Carlos was very friendly and helpful. we got stranded at Nyamisati and he kept in touch and tried to help. He assisted us get the flight back. The place is good as it's quiet and has beach front and we enjoyed a morning run at the beach and swimming in the beautiful ocean. The place was close to Kilindini so we could go for some night music and to enjoy seafood at Samila's hotel. We could also take a tuk tuk to the marine park and other places. Enjoyed breakfast and the nice fish that Carols made us. I would consider it next time I think of a snorkeling holiday in Mafia

Afro's Beach Bungalows are situated right on the beach. The setting is peaceful and quiet. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. We booked a whale shark tour and it was amazing. Mbaraka helped us with everything, pickup from the airport, early breakfast when needed and transportation to our dive center. Our most memorable event was the candle lit Christmas Eve dinner his staff prepared right in the beach. This is a simple place and true hidden gem

a super nice , eager team, a super chef and the best food we had in Tanzania, a nice shaded restaurant- veranda+ bar, a very personal atmosphere- we quickly felt like home, in good hands+ welcome! In addition, a quiet area (although on the outskirts and not on the beach). Transportation to the beach/naval park is offered at all times ( costs). All in all: a super Adr.!
