Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Vaca Key

Everything was excellent. Only complaint would be the bicycles. One bike was usable but the seat was loose and we didn’t have tools to fix it. The other adult bike’s chain was rusted so bad it wasn’t usable. We still had an excellent experience.

Incredible for a family vacation. 🏝️The property feels very private, clean, well decorated, and many amenities. We tried out the paddle boards and spent a lot of time in the pool. When going to the beach, Aileen already had chairs and towels to bring! This property really is a gem. Thank you Aileen!

Cheryl’s place is in the perfect location in the heart of Islamorada. Listening to the live music on the back deck to wind down every night was an added plus! Cheryl was super accommodating & definitely thinks about bettering her guests’ stay. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

The house was really nice, clean and a real home away from home. It accommodated my family of 5 with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. It was located on a canal where we were able to enjoy the manatees and pelicans. It was centrally located and only a short distance from the beaches, snorkeling, wind surfing and excellent restaurants. We will definitely stay again if we visit the keys

Great stay in Marathon. The house is exactly as described. It’s clean and comfortable with enough space for our family of 4. We really enjoyed the backyard and the central location to everything in Marathon. The street is quiet and perfect for families. Total Chill Vibes with clear directions for check in and check out, garbage days, etc. We look forward to our next trip to the Keys and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Great place right in the heart of Key Colony. House had all we needed and more to make our 8 day stay comfortable. Great boat dock with plenty of room for 2 31 ft boats.

We had a great time at Lazaro’s place. The kids were all entertained with the games inside and the pool outdoors. It was clean and comfortable. Our stove oven did not work so they went and bought a tabletop oven for us the following day! We thought that was so nice of them so we can bake! The location was fantastic because it was near the beach and Publix. I would say maybe having more beach equipment to use would make it perfect but we didn’t mind since we bought the sand toys and cooler at Publix. Overall, we had a grand time at his place and enjoyed our visit to the keys!

Wonderful home on canal that opens up to gulf. The home had everything that was described and was comfortable with AC. Cannot think of anything we needed that was not there. Terrific views from balcony. Saw lots of wildlife including manatees and the iguanas were fun to watch. There was a double and a single kayak to use as well as bikes to get around as the traffic was busy. There are close neighbors next door but they were quiet. If you want a place to relax, this fits the bill.

We loved our stay here! The house was very nice with plenty of sleeping spaces. There is plenty of parking for trucks, a trailer, and nice dockage for the boat. The pool was in a great spot to give privacy and shade (part of the day) so the water didn’t get hot like other places we have stayed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Matt’s place! As a host, Matt was quick to answer our questions and provide what we needed. The location is excellent, with the canal views from the back yard and a few minutes walk to the beach.

Regina and Captain Rob were great hosts! They gave us local recommendations and communicated well! We had such a great time using the tiki bar and the pool. It was our first trip with our baby and the place even had a crib for us to use. Would definitely return!

Great Home, great location and great host! Our family enjoyed our week in Marathon at this home. Perfect location! We loved the house, pool and the dock for our boat. Will definitely return. Jay was a great host, very responsive to any need and was helpful with recommendations!

This place was perfect for our small stay, we loved how well Alex communicated and he even came right over when I texted him to make him aware of something that was broke. He fixed it in 5 mins! He was extremely well at communicating and answered any questions we had.

John was super easy to communicate with, very responsive and if I had any issues he responded promptly!! We will definitely be coming back to this house next summer!! Thanks for a great stay!

What a lovely place! The pictures don’t do this home justice. My family and I had a wonderful time in Marathon. The pool proximity to the house is top notch. Such a relaxing, family friendly environment. We enjoyed walking around the adjacent marina and admiring the boats. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The waterfront townhome was the PERFECT place for our family of 8! Four kids shared one room with four beds-our kids loved that they were together. We always have dinner together after our daily outings and the kitchen and table worked out great. We LOVED the outdoor space in the backyard! Watching the boats, the sunset and kids playing and fishing. We can't tell you how much we enjoyed outselves and we do hope we are able to come back again!

Timothy’s house was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The pool was a great way to beat the Florida Keys heat and the sunset views from the 3rd floor were awesome! Boaters will love the boat ramp next door. The fish cleaning table and outdoor freezer were a huge plus.

We enjoyed our stay with tropical cottages. While our cottage was nothing super fancy, the housekeeper deserves a special shout out for keeping the our towels and wash cloths washed and the bed fixed every day! She's the best. And since I'm a coffee fanatic I loved the unlimited coffee in the tiki hut beginning at 6 AM! Overall we had a good experience and would recommend these people to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying here again. It is a boaters dream. 2 boat lifts available, boat ramp next door included. The Marina is a 100 yard boat ride and gas at the dock was reasonably priced. The pool is spectacular and heated if you need. All the accommodations you need are here!

It was one of cleanliness Villas I have stayed in . We have been vacationing on Duck Key for 20 plus years and would definitely recommend 5085 - great location , very reasonable price and very simple easy check in and check out instructions. Thank you .

We loved this duplex right on the channel. We spent mornings watching fish jump, manatees approaching the dock, Iguanas, etc. We loved having the boat slip so that we could dock our boat and take it out to fish in both the Gulf and Atlantic Oceans. The house was clean and quiet, and having the screened-in Lenai was wonderful. When we ran out of supplies, the rental was so helpful and willing to bring more to us right away. It was a wonderful week.

Despite rain and windy weather the first part of the week, we had a relaxing and fun time. Really loved the tiki in the backyard, and watching manatee and tarpon in the canal. The home was lovingly decorated with personal artwork and clean. The hosts were very accommodating and quickly responded to questions. We also liked that we could walk to restaurants, and the grocery stores were also nearby.

The resort itself is great with plenty of amenities and a perfect area to watch sunsets. The boat ramp is small and not very wide so if you’re bringing a boat be prepared to launch elsewhere and then parking your boat in a slip. It is at the top of Marathon and all the activities and restaurants are at the bottom part of the island, which is 10 miles away. Our cottage was roomy but in need of a coffee table or an ottoman and more side tables. The bed was not super hard and not super soft. There is no dishwasher so if you don’t want to do dishes bring paper plates, cups and plastic wear with you. I would consider staying here again, however, I would be sure to bring cleaning supplies with me as our cottage was dirty. There was dog hair all over the floor, the side table and trash left in the bathroom shower on top of the shampoo dispenser. Unless you are shorter than five feet you also won’t fit under the shower head so washing hair is challenging. Go to the comfort station instead.
