I had an incredible stay at Shekhar Villa. This peaceful beautiful property is a step away from a clean tranquil beach. We enjoyed a walk by the ocean, met friendly local fishermen, and watched the sunset from the Gajabadevi temple. We thoroughly enjoyed authentic fish thali and Malvani veg thali prepared by Ms Deepali. The host Ms Vanita Ma'am was in constant touch ensuring everything was perfect. Just make sure to carry some snacks with you since there are no eateries close by. However, The house was maintained properly including clean bathrooms. Thought it was a spontaneous trip turned into a memorable experience :)

Whether you wish to explore the beautiful beaches of Kunkeshwar, the historical forts, or the lush greenery of the Sindhudurg district, this spot serves as a convenient base to travel in all directions. The host was extremely cooperative and responsive whenever we needed assistance, which added to the comfort of our stay. Additionally, there is a provision for delicious and good-quality vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Swami Bungalow is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to experience the natural beauty, culture, and hospitality of Konkan. Highly recommended

We had a relaxing and pleasant stay. Jyoti was extremely helpful, coordinating with us from arrival to check-in and any assistance needed with the caretaker. The rooms were very clean, and the garden areas in the front and back were beautiful with various plantations. The Smart TV with Wi-Fi was a nice touch for relaxing evenings. The beach is just a short walk away, which was super convenient, especially with our 2-year-old who loved playing there. The caretaker prepared delicious, home-style meals with a variety of fish and chicken dishes we requested—truly lip-smacking! A couple of suggestions for improvement: bathroom lighting could be brighter with additional bulbs, and the water pressure in the jet spray and overhead shower was quite low. Overall, a wonderful experience that we’d definitely recommend and would love to visit again!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff and caretaker are the nicest people and managed everything so well. The house is well-kept and very clean and is full of necessary and essential items for a stay. The food was really tasty and homely and we loved every dish we requested. A very pleasant stay and the host Revathi is nice and took care of our needs and was available when required. The house itself is nestled in a green spot and surrounded by mango, supari and coconut trees. An ideal stay and we went there for my wife's birthday celebration and she will remember this one for sure! Revathi even helped us arrange cake for the birthday and even asked the caretakers to make Ukdiche Modak as a little birthday surprise from their side. Such a thoughtful and touching gesture! Next time we plan to come with our kid and enjoy the stay again! Thank you!

A Perfect Retreat: Luxurious and Serene Villa Stay Our recent villa stay was an absolute delight! Nestled in a serene location, the villa offered the perfect mix of elegance and comfort. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality, making me feel right at home. The villa itself was beautifully designed, with spacious interiors, tasteful décor, and top-notch amenities. The private pool was a fantastic addition, allowing us to unwind while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The lush garden and outdoor seating areas were perfect for relaxation, whether it was sipping morning chai or enjoying an evening under the stars. The service was impeccable—attentive yet unobtrusive. The staff ensured that every need was met, from personalized meals to thoughtful arrangements. The food was delicious....There is definately no place like home but this Villa became our home for those 4 Days.. Overall, this villa stay was a perfect escape from the hustle of daily city life.

The place was homely and it was very luxurious. Good for family as well as business travelers. Peaceful location and apartment exterior was green and natural.

Pratit's place is overwhelming in its beauty and serenity - words fail me when I try to describe how absolutely breathtaking the experience was. The rooms are well equipped, with a private bathroomworh high pressure shower for each room. Each room has a separate entrance, the upper floor has a common outdoor area, perfect to enjoy the view. The lower floor has a functional kitchen which you barely need to use as the team or Subramanium and Sudha take care of your every need without you needing to lift a finger. Don't go here if you are looking for digital entertainment or loud music/television. it's the spot to read, to watch birds (flocks of them, my binoculars were well used), to take calm walks and to watch the fish jump. For a lakeside location, the rooms are also well maintained, with minimum invasion of insects or moths. We really could not expect better. A special mention for dog lovers - your dog couldn't be happier and the people could not be friendlier to your pet.
