Beachfront holiday rentals in Vancouver Island

A dreamy West Coast-style studio with vaulted ceilings that my partner and I really enjoyed during our stay in Ucluelet. Great views, a comfortable bed, and an overall cozy but modern vibe with thoughtful decor. Quiet building. Bathroom is lovely and spacious as well, with a separate shower and bath, plus local and earth friendly toiletries (even bubble bath!). We will definitely consider it our first choice when we visit Ucluelet again.

We had a great experience staying at Kat and Pierce‘s place in Ucluelet. Everything was easy to find: the property, getting in, and the appliances. Very cool location in a row of landlocked cottages. The area was busy with fellow travelers and the walk to the beach was about 20 to 25 minutes. There was one parking spot with additional parking down the lane. The cabin was cozy for two people. Great hosts, good communication, and nice property.

Stayed here for a few nights and really enjoyed our time. The instructions to find the place were extremely detailed and easy to follow, and the site itself was nice and private with beautiful views. The RV itself was excellent, cozy and comfortable. Highly recommend this place!

The space was perfect! Great location, comfortable bedding, nice hot tub, quick access to the beach and absolutely amazing sunset views from the balcony. Hosts were great, lots of helpful info and super responsive. Awesome stay in Ucluelet and would love to come back!

Exactly as described and photos are spot on, the patio gives you a sense of privacy while enjoying the ocean views and watching the sunset from the hot tub The cabin was more than expected and very comfortable and homey. My wife and I truly enjoyed our start during our honeymoon and will be back again Communications with host is great, very responsive and friendly. Excellent access to walking trails with stunning views of the area.

This property is remarkably beautiful. The perfect location to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The beachfront property is incredible and cabin one is the closest to the beach making it extremely private. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind and take in the beautiful scenery. The road in is a bit of an adventure but the host provided accurate and clear instructions to navigate. The hosts were extremely timely in responses and wanted to ensure the best possible stay. This property does not have wifi and cell service is limited so be aware, but that was a welcomed time to unplug and enjoy. The balcony is large and perfect for relaxing with a book or having morning coffee. Would be an awesome location to have a group of friends or another couple and it appeared dogs were extremely welcomed on property and on the beach.

Lisa’s cottage was just beautiful. Lisa had thought of everything and has really made sure that the cottage is well equipped with everything you need for a great stay.

We really loved our time at the Strand. It was our first extended family road trip with our little one and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot to relax, play, explore and create some lasting family memories. Jenn was personable and prompt in her replies. We really appreciated all the extra touches to make us feel welcome!

My family and I had the most AMAZING experience at this Air BnB! This was a surprise 3 night 4 day getaway that I planned for my husband and our 2 kiddos. All of us were so impressed and fell in love with this accommodation. My kids have already asked when we can go back. The views were stunning! The house was immaculate. It felt airy, bright, luxurious & cozy as we watched the sunset. Every room was spacious and I was amazed how sound proof our accommodation was. Margaret was excellent with communication and thank you for the welcome gifts! It was unexpected and a wonder added touch to our experience. We took full advantage of the amenities: swimming in the pool, hot tub, ping pong, board games, gorgeous walks. Loved the option to bbq & fire pits provided by the resort. Highly recommend this exceptional property for a first class experience!

Enjoyed the privacy of the unit and the beauty of Pacific Shores Resort. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of dishes and pots and pans. Heidi communicated well with good information.

We had a great time. The pool and hot tub were perfect, and the cabin is cute. The setting is amazing and Sally and Dale were very helpful and nice. This is the perfect little vacation for a family with young children - it felt like a tropical vacation when we were in the pool in May. Thank you!

We loved staying at Deanna’s. The resort was excellent and the kids had a blast. Lots of games in the unit, kitchen was well equipped for 2 adults and 3 kids under 12. Beach was great and when it rained, the heated indoor pool and games room was amazing!

Staying with Chelsea’s place was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and clean, and lots of activities to do. We are planning to go back next year. Highly recommended!

This place is absolutely worth staying at. The view never gets old, Mason is wonderful and made us feel like special guests. Quiet, peaceful, functional, beautiful.

Wow, this place was a dream come true!!!! The tent was toasty at night with the indoor fireplace, comfy bed, the kitchen was a fantastic set up, all the windows allowed for stunning views at every turn, the sauna was such a treat and the camp was so peaceful and private. Dan had great suggestions for things to do, SUPing and the little hiking trail close to the float camp. Dreaming of our next visit already. Thank you for having such a unique experience and beautifully designed place to stay.

What a gem! We feel lucky to have stayed here. We loved sitting out on the patio and taking in the view, watching seals and otters. We felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, while making sure we had our own private space. They had taken care of everything and clearly put a lot of thought and care into the guest experience. We would love to stay here again if we have the chance.

Had an amazing 3 night stay at this incredible cottage. The view is breathtaking and our hosts Gary and Sheila were delightful. Everything you could want is in the unit. we spent many hours on the deck relaxing and watching the tugs and boats. We even had an incredible wildlife siteing from the deck. Gibsons town is super quaint and very walkable with lots to see. We hated to leave and would highly recommend this wonderful gem!

Gorgeous space and location! Having 2 outdoor spaces with lots of seating was amazing. The beds are comfy; the windows make it seem like you are in the trees. Great little book with tips for the area. I would stay again!

We had a fabulous time at Joann’s place. Joann was great and has made a stylish and comfortable cabin. The views and nature are amazing. We would definitely consider again!

We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage was exactly as described - gorgeous inside and out. We loved the decor and it felt so cozy and comfortable. The view from the deck was fantastic and we felt so close to nature. At times we could hear nothing but the many species of birds! We loved watching the harbour seals out front of the cottage and saw many bald eagles! We enjoyed the hottub and the fire table every evening as well as exploring the beach area. Lots of great beaches close by (ocean and freshwater). We hope to back SOON! Thank you for the incredible stay!

I stayed here before and decided to come again with other travelling companions. The location is beautiful. The home is a beautiful space with everything we needed, including a wonderful view. With the big windows, we could see robins building their nest under the home’s balcony while also being able to watch eagles flying by over the water. Sharon was responsive with texting even though she was away during our stay. There is a nearby small commercial space with two food trucks serving excellent food if you want a respite from cooking. We could either choose to eat there before driving out of the area for the day, or to stop off for dinner on our way back. I highly recommend Sharon’s place if you are looking for a rural oceanside getaway.
