Great place to vacation both in glorious summer days and in garden storms. Gamleskulen

Welcome to Gamleskulen in Fiskå, a large wooden house that for some decades ago was filled with small schoolchildren. Today, the residential house is divided into two, with an apartment in the attic and a larger part of the house of approximately 150 m2 that is available to you on Airbnb. The house also has a large garden with plenty of space outdoors. There is also a Jacuzzi. A chalet established in 2002. Skorge Høgde is a celebration of my Families heritage and love for our home. She is cradled by mountains to the rear, where bird songs echo, eagles fly and foxes mischief. Elevated views of the fjord and layered mountains beyond. You will have access to the great sights close by, then return to a very private tourist free home base beautiful in its own right. On the border between Vestland and Møre og Romsdal, a great center point to access as much as you can see.

Turn off your mobile and relax. At Trollvassbu you are high to the mountains and far from everyday stress. Trollvassbu has no running water, electricity or phone coverage. Exotic with outhouse! Water in the creek, lights and heat on kerosene oven, kerosene lamps and sterin lights. Cooking on gas burner. At Trollvassbu, the days can get slow and thoughts long term. Location on Skredestranda, about 3.5 km from Årvik ferry dock, in a quiet and peaceful area. Here you can relax and recharge. You might be lucky to see a flock of orcas in the fjord, or see eagles and deer. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both big and small boats, also cruise ships going to/from Geiranger. The cabin is 20 m from the sea, where there are good fishing opportunities (rod). Steep swab and close. We have life vests available.

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. 92km away from Ålesund, under the tall pine trees hides a tiny forest cabin with an amazing panoramic fiord view. The life in the cabin is simple without running water and with an outdoor toilet, but you can start your cabin experience after you will take a refreshing shower in the main house, where you will also park your car (or bike). 5min walk upwards from the parking lot.
