What a beautiful place, Dominique and Alain's cottage! Ideally located, you will stay in a green setting. At the foot of the Cher, overlooking the Chateau. Quiet accommodation, which stays cool despite high outside temperatures. Very clean and perfectly equipped, nothing missing. It's not very big but enough for 2👍 The owner's garden is exceptional! We were able to enjoy it and have breakfast every morning in this beautiful setting, overlooking the Cher! There is a swimming pool too (shared with another cottage) very nice, without any overlooking. It's good to cool off there if needed Short excellent stay, beautiful environment, and Dominique and Alain are really very nice! Is there any better compliment?

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

We had a great stay,the accommodation was immaculately clean and in a great location for local amenities, restaurants and for visiting the surrounding region. It had everything you need for a stay which was all in as new condition. Hosts were proactive and answered messages quickly and efficiently. We met Christele the owner who was so friendly and helpful. Montrichard is a lovely town with all you need-don't miss the bird spectacular at Beavual Zoo if you visit-its superb. We would definitely return to explore more of the area.

Accommodation as described, ideal because close to the Zoo Parc de Beauval. Apartment with impeccable cleanliness and exemplary practicality. Responsive and friendly host, small mention to his great attention to having provided us with cool water bottles (in this strong heat). Nearby parking space, self check-in and air-conditioned stay, which is therefore convenient). We would recommend it.

this gorgeous chateau is a piece of history in the most glorious, verdant setting imaginable! you will feel like royalty surrounded by generations of art and artifacts. Our family’s favorite thing about the property, though, is the rambling green flower filled gardens and pavilions. The hosts are perfect in every way! welcoming, yet unobtrusive. Around when you have a question or a concern or feel like sharing a glass of wine on the veranda. Truly wonderful people and an incredible experience. Great restaurants within 20 or so minutes, châteaus, white wine, what more could anyone ask for?

A little weekend spent with sisters in Christ. Christian is so kind and accessible. We were able to enter the house earlier Beautiful house, very clean. Impressed by hotel-like white linens and towels. The beds are top notch. The pool is shared as said, and we were able to enjoy quietly because the family next door was visiting the area, and when it arrived, we left room for everyone to enjoy. So no problem, if both families are polite. 🙄😉 Small downside, because of sharing the outdoors by 2 families, if the schedules are not compatible, it's annoying. We were a little noisy, yes dinner with girls!! Likewise, a door separates the living room, so even in the house, well... It remained noisy. So, take that into consideration but apart from that, really beautiful house, clean, so peaceful area. Bravo to the host

This house is just perfect for a family moment. Cécile and Christian were more than welcoming hosts; as for the house, it's a place where you feel really good. Its restoration was done with a lot of taste and ideas and transports you through its history. A very big thank you to them for this good weekend.

Beautiful house, very pleasant to live in and very well decorated. Very nice place to meet with family or friends. Everything is well thought out, it feels like home. Séverine's welcome is great, she takes the time and gives advice on activities to do nearby. Go there with your eyes closed.
