Holiday rentals in Vasilikades

We chose Casa Nobile for a long overdue family holiday. The villa is absolutely gorgeous and the views stunning. Fiskardo is just a quick drive away and with a choice of breathtaking beaches on the way. The pool is a really good size and the added feature of jets make it a really good workout. The lovely sound of goat bells on occasion, as they make their way around the hillside, adds to the truly magical feel. We cannot wait to return. Thankyou for hosting us!

The villa is absolutely beautiful. It looks just as it does in the picture with the incredible view and clean, considered interior. But what you can’t see is the beautiful construction. Every detail is perfect. Kothreas is at the top of a mountain but it’s easy enough to drive to the delightful seaside villages of Fiskardo and Assos and the extraordinary beaches in northern Kefalonia. The mountain village is charming and rustic with walnut, fig and pomegranate trees, stone buildingd and surrounding hillside that smells of wild thyme & oregano and where you hear goat bells. Nearby there are authentic and excellent mountain tavernas and larger villages like Maganos. The pool is absolutely lovely. We paid to get it heated which was money well spent as our kids stayed in it for hours. Foula and her team were incredible hosts. So kind, informative and welcoming, and it was amazing having a housekeeper every second day. Thank you so much - we hope to be back! Efcharisto!!

My partner and I had an incredible and memorable stay. The villa was beautiful and had everything we needed, it was perfectly located near local shops and restaurants, but the best part were the breathtaking views over Assos. Finally, our host was very friendly and attentive - helping us with anything and everything we needed. Excited to come back again.

Cute cottage in a peaceful village. Panagiotis greeted us on arrival and showed us around. There was lots provided in terms of food and drinks, particularly breakfast items and their own honey and olive oil. Wonderful local recommendations, beaches, and a restaurant nearby called Makis. Panagiotis was very friendly and accommodating for our 1 year old. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Dear Urania, Many thanks for the stay in your lovely house. We enjoyed it and my elderly parents appreciated the peacefulness of the place and listening to the night birds in the evening reminding them of their village. We appreciated being in a wonderful scenery on the mountain side off the beaten track, but close to services (5 mins away by car) and centrally located for access to the areas of interest from myrtos to the south to the various beaches (accessible by walking a bit after parking the car) and fiskardo with a couple of marked hikes in the north. We thoroughly enjoying sitting in the beatifull large terrace in the evenings enjoying the breeze flowing down the hill side that kept the house cool in the evenings and the night even throughout the heat wave. The house is thoroughly suited to families (we were 7) and is highly recommended. All the best, Yiannis

We came to stay for 5 days after a week with 30 people celebrating our wedding. The villa, location and hosts were exactly what we needed. Rosies cafe was lovely and the taverna on the hill (in the same family) was exceptional. We would 100% recommend this villa for a quiet stay, car is a must though.

Glad to have been welcomed in the family home of Dimitris, in the heart of the village of Vasiliakes but all at the same time in nature, with an invaluable west-north-east view (crazy sunrises and sunsets!!, in the heart of the village and its inhabitants, its cats (thank you for taking over in winter:-). Delighted with all the attention paid to well-being on a daily basis (cleaning done under the beds and in the cabinets). Guests looking for authenticity, contact Dimitris, you will be welcomed and have a wonderful time. Ideally placed to discover the north of the island, although the south is accessible by day but less beautiful to our taste. Shhh, not too loud, this haven of peace and life must remain intact. Kefalonia is beautiful and Asos is a fantastic spot. The beach and small town are lovely with good restaurants and takeaways in walking distance. Niriides apartments have a spectacular view, are very quiet and peaceful, and Nikos is a wonderful, helpful host who provided local recommendations. It is a hilly but picturesque walk to the beach.
