Kummelnäs ligger nära skärgården men också Stockholms puls. Badsjöar, färjor till skärgården eller city ligger inom gångavstånd. Huset ligger 25 minuter med bil från Stockholm city respektive 30 minuter med buss. Bussen går ca 200 meter från huset.
