This Commiezen house (customs office/earlier BORDER/TAX CONTROL Office) is one of the oldest houses at the mouth of the North Sea Canal. The house dates from 1875 and thus forms the basis of the later IJmuiden. With the largest sea lock in the world within walking distance and beach and fishing port within a radius of 1 km, this place is an ideal starting point for day trips. Haarlem (15 min.) and Amsterdam (30 min.) are also easily accessible. Public transportation - bus and train - are available as well as free parking.

Historical house with a great living room, dinning room and kitchen. There are 2 sleeping rooms with in total 5 beds. The neighbourhood is quit and its only a few steps from the naional park "de kennemerduinen" 10 minutes by train to Haarlem and 30 minutes by train to the city of Amsterdam were you can have dinner or to go out. Parking for free in the street. Allready got more then 180 enthousiastic guests in my house, they all want to come back. Alle basic shops arround the corner. SUPER!!!

Ideally located for exploring the Netherlands. This house is centrally located in the town of Beverwijk, within walking distance of all shops, restaurants, buses, and trains. Recently renovated with a new kitchen and two bathrooms, it's ideal for several people. It features three bedrooms and sofa beds in the spacious living room. In good weather, you can relax in the lovely lounge area in the backyard. Parking is free for one hour on the street but free parking is a seven-minute walk away.

In the middle of the dunes of Zuid-Kennemerland nature park, 300m from the beach, lies this spacious vacation home with unobstructed sea views. Warm yourself by the wood-burning stove after a long beach walk or enjoy the setting sun from the front terrace. From the balcony by the bedroom, you can see the sun rise in the morning above the dune landscape, where deer can often be seen. The house is spacious, has 2.5 floors and has all the comforts. There is a shared swimming pool + sauna.

This 3 bedroom chalet close to Amsterdam is very comfortable inside with a big and private outside space. By public transportation, the centre of Amsterdam is 45 min away, by car about 20 min. Haarlem and Alkmaar are close, as is Volendam, de Keukenhof and the North Sea Beach. The chalet is located on a resort. There is a pool, a big play ground, a pond, go kart and bike rental... Please be aware that the resort is located close to SPL Airport. You will see and hear airplanes occasionaly.

Close to the beach and with cities such as Haarlem and Amsterdam within easy reach. You will be staying in my home, where personal items are also present. My cats live here. This luxurious family house was restored in 2024. With 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. A large open kitchen and a cozy garden with a tv and a mini-fridge. It is also possible to add an extra baby bed. Just a 5 min walk to the trainstation to Amsterdam, This train will take you to Haarlem city in 10 minutes, and 25 minutes to Amsterdam. Also, if you want to go to the beach, its a 15 min drive to IJmuiden and if you take the train, you can be at Zandvoort in 25 min!

Here you literally sleep on historic ground, in the heart of the old shop where bread was once sold to the canal diggers of the North Sea Canal. Our B&B is located in the retail premises of this former bakery. The beautiful space includes a luxury bathroom with sauna and a private entrance.
