Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Victoria

We really enjoyed our stay in Matthew & Elaine’s town house with our 11 month old daughter. Communication was friendly and fast and when we missed a baby chair Elaine came to bring it to us right away. It should be noted that there is a lot of construction going on, at both sides of the house, but it’s not on a all day every day basis so it didn’t bother us too much. The walk to the beach is beautiful and it’s also easy to walk to the town square with some bars. If you have a rental car the whole island is easily accessible. Last of all we really appreciated the ‘welcome package’ with some fresh produce. Thanks!

This is an excellent rustic villa in lovely village of Munxar, Gozo close to a small shop and a short scenic drive to Xlendi Bay with nice sea front restaurants. The home itself has an excellent host with large 4 double/twin bedrooms, nicely decorated and kept nice and clean with good comfy beds and all amenities, just a home from home. It has a private outdoor pool and nice sun beds although a bit cool for our Easter break in April. Rental car is a must for sightseeing and travelling around the island and Xlendi Bay and you can park just opposite the house. Malta as an island is more popular with tourists and therefore more busy but you can stay in Gozo in this lovely house for some peaceful time allowing warm sunny weather.

We enjoyed our stay over Christmas and there was plenty of space and rooms. The pool was still in working order over the winter months and we enjoyed sitting around outside reading and braving some cold dips. We did not have a car but it was easy to catch the bus from outside the house or walk into Victoria. If we had any questions we were helped immediately and with a smile.

Just returned from a weekend at the Retro house. honestly nothing to complain about. the hosts Andrew and Cristina are amazing and helpful. The house was extremely clean. towels ,linen fresh and clean. huge space to prepare meals ,lovely view in the back . i highly recommend this place. Thank you once again Andrew & Christina. surely we will be back.

One of the best and most interesting places we’ve ever stayed! Mind was blown from the moment we walked in and exploring every corner of this huge property. Was the perfect home base to explore all of Malta during our 6 day stay. All amenities came in very good use and absolutely loved the layout. Highly highly recommend for a memorable stay!!

Have just returned from 2 fabulous weeks at Christian and Lara’s beautiful farmhouse and fully concur with the previous positive reviews. If anything the whole experience exceeded our expectations from first communication to the day we left. There is a parking space but car rental really isn’t necessary as the bus service is excellent and provides access all over the island. A 7 day bus pass (tallinja card 25€) allows unlimited travel on all services on Malta and Gozo including the express bus to and from the airport. Taxis are plentiful and good value with an Uber from Gozo ferry terminal to the property for under 10€. The hourly Gozo fast ferry is also great value and takes only 45mins to Valletta. Christian and Lara are lovely hosts and they have obviously put in a great deal of effort and attention in providing everything you need to make your holiday truly memorable. Absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending.

Jaime was very responsive and helpful. The house is beautifully decorated with some lovely quirky features. Great location for restaurants and waterfront just five minutes walk away. We had a great stay, thank you Jaime.

Fantastic stay at this wonderfully spacious Apartement with views to die for. We loved basing ourselves in Xlendi having stayed in Victoria & Valletta on a previous trip. The photos show the front of the flat, balcony and views but we were surprised how big the rest of it was including 3 bedrooms (1 en-suite plus 1 family bathroom). Parking in public car park or up the road was fine all week except Sunday afternoon when everyone visits for seafood lunch and it’s busy. Lovely local walks to the fort, salt pans and nuns bathing pool on foot. Easy to walk down to the water and swim from the rocks. Lots of locals and tourists on holiday in May, so busy but quieter when the daytrippers/ quad bike convoys finished for the day. You won’t regret staying here but a hire car is important to make the most of what Gozo has to offer.

We stayed in Matthews place as a stopover on it way to Gozo, I would have been very happy staying longer than the one night. We arrived at 11pm but check in was easy following the precise instructions sent to us. Everything we needed for a short stay was there, restaurants, cafes, beach etc were on the doorstep and I can't recommend the accommodation enough.

Thomas is a wonderful (and a natural) host, great with communication from the start, always available and doing everything possible to make our stay comfortable. We loved his space, which is so tastefully done with all the necessary amenities both for long or short stays. Everything was spotless, the bed was comfortable and all in all it felt like home from home. The location is ideal if you don't want to be in the centre of busy Valletta, but only a 5 minute ride with the buses (plenty of them from the near by stop). Although the flat is on a busy road, as soon as you're in it is very quiet and peaceful with only the chirping of the sparrows and the church chimes as a soundtrack. Cafes, supermarket and restaurants only a few steps away from the flat, so very easy to get provisions and eat and drink out. Thank you Thomas, you've been amazing.

The stay in Kenneth's apartment was great. Great apartment, very nice and quiet location. Some restaurants are within walking distance. Great communication with the host at all times. Highly recommended!

A lovely, comfortable apartment in an Old Townhouse with easy access to all Valletta has to offer. We also enjoyed access to the lounge and balcony on the floor above with views over city rooftops and the Mediterranean. The terrace also has impressive views of the Church Dome and Cathedral Spire to the rear. These landmarks dominate views of Valletta from the sea and are wonderful lit up at night. Michelle is a great host, fun to be around and her cats are the best behaved we have ever encountered. She is very discreet and respectful of your privacy. We would happily stay there again.

Where do I start? This has to be one of the best airbnbs I’ve ver been to. Not only was the apt perfectly accommodating but Roger was very responsive, friendly, and flexible. The apartment sits on the water with immaculate views of Spinola Bay. Walking distance to all of the best restaurants, clubs, and water access points. Most definitely worth the money, and will absolutely be coming back.

We had a great time in this house. Much nicer live than in the photos for us, it was a surprise. Our little girl had plenty of room to play and had so much fun. Highly recommended

Wow!! If you’re looking for a place to stay in Xlendi then look no further. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. The host is super flexible, responsive, and accommodating. She gets right back to you quickly and was so helpful with checkout and getting us backs to the Valletta airport. The place is exactly as pictured. The view and location can’t be beat. It’s clean and comfortable. Lina the host leaves lovely little treats such as jam and bread and cheese and coffee etc to start your day. There are so many restaurants all around. And though you are right above them it’s not too loud at night. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy xlendi and explore the rest of Gozo. I will recommend to my friends planning visit and anyone else. Thank you Lina! Oh and just note there is a euro operated AC. She is very clear about that in the description. It was very easy to use and the euros last through the night. Just maybe come prepared if you check on late and don’t have change.

Caroline was such a great host, she left us a folder full of contacts for food and things to do round Malta. Great location as there are restaurants and shops near by and even good transport links. Gadeira bay being 10mins away on the bus.

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The view is amazing! Dennis was very helpful and accommodating. Allowed us to have a late check out for a small fee due to our late flight. Highly recommended

Very nice apartment, in the middle of a lively area. If you like to go out and party, while being nearby, this is the perfect place to stay. Plus, the place is perfectly equipped. Finally, our host was very responsive when we had trouble finding the place, and when we had questions about the listing or activities we were looking for. Thank you very much Jane!!! If we come back to Malta, we will know where to stay:-)

The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, plus some lovely extras like fresh coffee and an ironing board. The washing machine’s 15-minute cycle was especially handy for a quick turnaround of clothes. The views from the apartment were extraordinary, both during the day and at night. We didn’t use any of the common areas of the apartment block and wouldn’t have used the pool, so we can’t comment on those. The apartment was ideal for our holiday. We had a car and spent our 10-day stay exploring Gozo and Malta with ease. We would happily stay again if the mattress is replaced—it was very, very uncomfortable. Aside from that it was a great stay. Thank you!

Great accommodation. New furniture, large balcony with beautiful view. Well located, you don't have to walk far for restaurants. You just have to be aware that the accommodation is located at the port. So, it can get a little louder.

We had a lovely stay here, the penthouse is fab! The roof terrance is a really good touch, a lovely pool / bbq and amazing views. As hosts both Daniel and Svetlana were super responsive and helpful. Always on hand to help out. Would recommend if you like your own space and enjoy a sea view. It’s a lovely walk into town where there are nice restaurants and ice creams and in the other direction there are several great swimming spots with two beach bars seeing food and drink. Would highly recommended :)

We had a fabulous stay at Rosa’s place. The apartment is lovely and clean and the balcony is perfect for an evening drink. Rosa was really helpful with local recommendations for restaurants. The area is really peaceful and a great start to our holiday to relax and enjoy for delicious fish dinners. The apartment has everything you need from a well equipment kitchen, beach towels and a handy washing machine.
