Rent our newly built (Nov 2022) and well-planned 4 rooms with sauna in peaceful environment. High standard with unique options, floor heating and a hard to beat cozy factor that really gives it the cabin feel you want when you go to the mountains. Basically ski in/ ski out with only one walkway of 100 meters to the ski slopes in Tegefjäll / Duved (included in Åre's lift system). 300 meters in the other direction you will find a restaurant, grocery store and the ski bus into Åre (operating during ski season). Located in a quiet residential area at the end of a street with parking outside the house. 15 minute walk to Tottliften, to the square and train station. Direct connection to totthummel with nice hiking and biking trails. (the water hose for flushing bicycles is at the house).

In addition to skiing and cycling, you can hike, fish, go dog sledding, rent a snowmobile and a variety of other activities. Absolutely amazing accommodation! Super fresh and tastefully decorated apartment, well equipped with everything that may be needed (including small things that facilitate tremendously such as salt and pepper, olive oil, apron, plastic wrap...). Host couple Greger and Lena were hugely nice, helpful and responded quickly to any conceivable questions both about accommodation and about skiing. We felt incredibly nicely welcomed with noise from their bakery, handwritten welcome note and personal visit from the host couple. Luxurious with breakfast at the bakery a few hundred meters from the apartment. One of the best spaces we've ever rented!

A fresh and nice accommodation with great views. The sauna and fireplace were a big plus, and it was appreciated that firewood was available. However, the decor felt somewhat sprawling, as if everything was collected from different flea markets. It gave some charm, but also a feeling that the home could use a refresh. Some kitchen utensils were worn (including a broken bread knife), and we discovered dried-up food scraps on crockery and kitchenware. Throws and armchairs also felt somewhat untouched. I understand you don't want to invest in brand new and expensive things, but some updates would make a big difference to the comfort! Ultimately a great place to stay where everything worked great and would definitely return!
