Sara’s house was a great place to stay while visiting Sao Miguel. The house was clean, well stocked, private, peaceful, and situated above the town of Maia with beautiful views down the coastline and great sunsets! Our kids loved the pool which was great to return to after doing day trips. The beds were comfy which was a plus after lots of adventuring. It was within easy driving distance of many of the key sights. Sara is a great communicator, provides lots of helpful info, and responsive to any questions. We would recommend this place to anyone while visiting the Azores!

Dino’s home is one of the top three AirBnBs that we have stayed in, and we have stayed at over 30+ AirBnBs from Peru to Portugal, Europe and the US. Moreover, he is easily the best host we have ever stayed with. He was waiting for us when we arrived and spent 30 minutes showing us where everything was and how to use it. I would strongly recommend his home to anyone looking for a beautiful home in a beautiful location.

We had a great stay, the house does not have this professional touch but feels like a private house, you hardly find that on Airbnb these days. The view to the sea is great and you can explore the whole island from this spot.

Our stay at the property was amazing - the house is even more beautiful in person. It had all the necessary facilities and the host was extremely helpful, answered our questions very quickly and very flexible all throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend a stay here and look forward to coming back!

If you want peace and solitude with a spectacular view after a busy day this is the place. The house sits on the hillside above a garden of banana and avocado trees. The kitchen is small but efficient and open to a spacious interior with a dining table for up to 8 and a comfortable sitting area all with views of the valley and the ocean. The house also had two full baths, one ensuite! All of our queries about appliance operation were promptly responded to by our great hosts. It was a lovely place to stay on a lovely island!

Absolutely fabulous house for a family traveling with children. The pool is wonderful, and the central location on the island made traveling to sites a breeze.

The accommodation met all our expectations. It was a wonderful stay. Everything was there to have a wonderful time, the heated pool, washer-dryer, dishwasher and all the basic items, just like at home. Marie-Thérèse was really responsive when we had questions. We had a lovely time with the family.

We enjoyed our stay in this house with exceptional sea views and beautiful terrace. Nuno is an amazing host, very attentive and very attentive . We found a very clean rental, a very comfortable bed, nothing was missing, with local products much appreciated given the late hour of our plane flight. The location is ideal for all visits, hot springs, "Lagoa Sete Cidades", tea plantation, Furnas fumaroles, the discovery of the "COZIDO" cooked for a long time thanks to the heat of the volcanic soil. A great and unique place to stay! Beautifully maintained. Given the age of the house, the wind can be heard/felt on windy/stormy days. This takes some getting used to. Please know that the house is situated in a beautiful park, with keys to access the park after opening hours. On the lake you can use kayaks, and there are also kids bikes in the shed.

We cannot say enough about how much we loved this place! The host was amazing and extremely accommodating. The house is beautiful with SPECTACULAR views. Everything was close either walkable or a short drive. Did I say that the host was amazing yet!???!!!! Bruno made our stay comfortable and relaxing. He is one of the best hosts we have ever stayed with.

It's hard to find a superlative for this house. Our nicest one (of three) on the acores. It feels like a good hotel, but is much more private. The view is breathtaking and the so is the pool & the jaccuzi. Everything you need is there.

We absolutely loved our time here. The hosts were very responsive and always checking up on us. Beautiful, quite neighbourhood and great look out areas nearby. We recieved a full list of recommendations for spots to visit and we’re all stunning! Wish we could have stayed longer :)

Our stay was perfect with the gorgeous ocean view to wake up to every morning. House was clean and comfortable, just like the pictures showed. Hosts were great and very responsive. There are places to swim in the ocean very close by and parking was always easily accessible at the end of the street. It was close to the city and a great place to stay to explore the whole island.

Beautiful home in Agua de Pau. Lots of room. The area was perfect just far enough from Ponta Delgada, but close to get there easily. The local restaurants were great!

We had a lovely stay - very comfortable home in a cute residential neighbourhood. There was some noise from the nearby bar and church bells, so bring earplugs for night if you are sensitive to noise

What a unique and beautiful home for our São Miguel trip with 6 adults and one toddler. Maria left a welcome basket for us, including a stuffie for our 3 year old! The main house was spacious and charming with a mix of old and new touches. Beds were comfy and there were multiple places to sit and relax. The grounds and view from the home are gorgeous, and the resident cat was very sweet. The house is in a more rural part of the island on a steep narrow road making it a bit tough to be easily walkable but that’s a matter of not being used to the streets. There was enough in town to meet our needs and it was easy to get everywhere. Couple notes: where the bedrooms are, there’s no insulation between the floors so be prepared to hear what’s going on below or above you. Also there was no dryer, but Maria kindly helped us set up racks and dehumidifiers to get our clothes dry. Overall an awesome spot and I highly recommend!!

Vera’s place was incredible! They were super responsive, gave great reviews and even left us a bottle of wine, chocolates and a guidebook for our stay! The home is beautiful and being able to relax by the pool or lounge space outside before heading for dinner was the cherry on top! Would 100% recommend staying here

This location is INCREDIBLE. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio, watching the huge aqua waves roll past the Mosteiros rocks and appreciated the easy access to the beautiful black beach. Parking is just up the street. Beds were comfortable and kitchen and bathroom worked well. Ricardo was very helpful with a reservation for dinner. We highly recommend the restaurant MoMo in nearby Ginetes. Mosteiros is well located if you plan to visit Sete Cidades and the thermal pools in Ferraria. This is a great spot!

5 stars because the place was great and perfect for us, totally affordable for something that sleeps 4 people comfortably, and the hosts we're great, but a couple of considerations for anyone looking to book this Airbnb. Location - you're a long way away from most of the main attractions on the island besides Furnas. Renting a car is a must. We didn't mind because the drives were beautiful and we did stuff along the way. There's also a very noisy dog across the street so if you're a light sleeper and want to sleep in it may bother you. Didn't bother us much. Pool - The pool area is beautiful and even nicer and more spacious than the pictures, that said the climate is very mild and it rains off and on so we essentially didn't use it.

This is an old, converted fisherman’s cottage (we think). It’s a beautiful place with access to sea swimming pools right out the back garden gate. Easy walking distance to Lagoa along a coastal path leading right to the most amazing set of sea swimming pools (plus proper pools). Local cafe/bar/restaurant right on the doorstep. Kitchen was great, bathrooms clean and showers lovely and warm and powerful. Living space upstairs was fab - cosy in the rain but also perfect with the terrace door open in the evening. We have two young adult girls and one of them wasn’t comfortable sleeping in the communal space next to the kitchen but we easily moved her bed into the small room so she could sleep next to her sister. The only downside was that it was difficult to get things dry when it rained. Everything stayed damp and ended up smelling musty. In the wet, humid conditions the cottage feels a little damp. Generally speaking though, this is a great place. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Nuno’s place! The apartment was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. Nuno was an amazing host—very kind and super quick to respond to any questions. The only downside was the noise from the street; there were parties with loud music almost every evening until 1 or 2 a.m., which made it hard to sleep at times. Still, if you’re okay with a lively atmosphere, this is a fantastic spot!

The Poolhouse is a nice cottage with a nautical theme. It is clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The shower is good! We enjoyed the swimming pool, the terrace with garden furniture and the possibility to open all the sliding doors.
