The urban area is really nera the house and you can enjoy the lovely food in soem restaurants or just enjoy the natural landscape by wlaking around or just enjoy a nice drink in one of the river-fronts. Public transportations are not the best, but you can visit some of the surrounding towns if you are good in making plans... This is my home. I reconstructed it myself. It's full of love...

Casa do Álvaro da Carreira is a rustic house set in a rural farmhouse with more than 2000 m2 in the Vale do Âncora. The house has been recently restored and has a maximum capacity for 4 people with 1 bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a double single bed, a bathroom, an equipped lounge/kitchen and a terrace. It is in the middle of the countryside, next to the mountains, the river and the beach. The place is very quiet with sun, terrace, country view, garden furniture, Wi-Fi and accessible parking.

Beautiful country house

The coldest days invite to a evening by the fireplace where you can get cosy and watch the fire dance as the wood burns. It is a quiet place with a good neighborhood. The historic center of Viana do Castelo is a 10 minutes drive as well as several beaches such as Cabedelo beach, where you can practice various water sports such as surfing, windsurfing or paddle. Five minutes from supermarkets.

Fisherman House 30 steps from sea

This tiny house, was a fisherman typical warehouse and is located in the last fisherman neighborhood, and still today resist to empire state dealers! It's turned back to the sea, but still close to it, so close that in strong winter sea comes to the door :). Approximately 50 meters from the beach, You'll find yourself in the middle of fisherman boats traffic and right in the center of the first hand fish sale. And sea lovers of course :)

The house of "Sítio de Froufe" is located in Lugar de Froufe, in the parish of S. Miguel between both rivers in the municipality of Ponte da Barca, geographically within the territory of the Peneda Gerês National Park. What is now the "Sítio de Froufe" was for many years used as a shelter for animals and storage for agricultural products.
