Wonderful stay everything clean and organized

Quite a hike up the hill if you don’t have a car, just bear that in mind. Also if you’re going into town to eat, the same applies. However the upside of course is that the views are outstanding. Quiet and tranquil, we were extremely happy with our stay. Great hiking on the doorstep, lots of wine tasting if that’s your thing. One very nice touch was the traditional custard tarts and lovely bread/rolls left outside our door each morning by our host. Very nice touch indeed

Excellent experience all around. My wife and I arrived one day earlier than expected and stayed here for just one night and then we moved to the larger top floor apartment where we stayed almost a full, fantastic week!

The accommodation is a perfectly renovated old building with the latest technology. I had apartment number 8, which had a fantastic view of the river and the old town from the first floor. Overall, the apartment is bright and friendly. Only for the kitchen I would have liked more equipment such as a pasta strainer, more knives for the preparation, a spatula and a casserole dish. So you can have breakfast, but you have to improvise when cooking. There is a large free parking lot for the rental car 120 meters away by the river. All in all, I was satisfied and would come back at any time.

we had a lovely weekend at Virginia's apartment the apartment is beautiful. very clean. in addition we had very nice touches like small sweets. moreover the robes as well as the slippers are a very pleasant attention that gives a plus to this apartment the aloe vera bedding is exceptional. we slept great

The apartment offers all the basic equipment you need, including a washer and dryer. The flat is very quiet.

Everything was perfect except for the lack of soundproofing between the bedrooms and the lack of dish linens to try and clean. Thank you very much!

Location. Close to the center on foot but in a peaceful area close to a river where one can swim. The accommodation is well equipped and spacious, very pleasant. Communication with the host is fluid, she is always available and attentive to needs.

Very comfortable place to stay in the centre of Pinhao. Really nice touches, complementary cake and port in the room and a welcome drink in the bar downstairs.

The impeccable apartment, with everything you need. The location is very beautiful, with cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets, and a variety of shops nearby, and you can leave your car and always walk. Overall a good stay, expected the whole space to be part of the property but it’s actually split in half, even if common areas can be shared, I did not expect it to be like this. Regardless, still a pretty good calm place to be at

Staff was wonderful, very helpful and responsive. We had a delightful wine tasting. They set up a taxi to take us to town and told us where to have dinner. The small village was extremely charming, we had a great dinner and our taxi driver was waiting to take us back after. The room and property were top notch. the only minor issue we had and it may be our fault, is we were further away from the Douro Valley than we thought. The directions were correct, but I missed my turn into the property, it isnt much of a road and it sneaks up on you. It would be challenging to find at night. But in the end, we were extremely pleased with our experience and very glad we stayed. We would wholeheartedly recommend it!!
