Large house, it is quite better than in the photos, the rooms are large and the house is very well cared for, the garden was very good, they were aware of what we needed, highly recommended.

Very beautiful space and with exceptional amenities, everything looked like in the pictures, we had a pleasant surprise. Me and my family and friends , We use a lot of the space , especially the outdoor part (swimming pool) and the Estar , which has a kitchen area and is quite large . We can only recommend and advise. Everything was 5⭐️.

It was a great experience and we want to come back in the summer! A word of affection to our host José, super attentive and very available in helping us, always accessible and with many tips. It's been 3 extraordinary days that we want to repeat without a doubt. We highly recommend this place.

We came to Church house in Moreira do Castelo, August 2024 with my wife & three teenage children. It is situated opposite a newish village square, carpark and 1960's Church, with spectacular views across the mountainous countryside looking towards Amarante, (a beautiful town), only 15mins away by car. In the village itself, there is Cinza's bar, a couple of small independently owned bars/shops nearby, but we found it easier to stock up on groceries at Pingo Doce in Amarante itself, (only 12 mins away). Great amenities at the house, swimming pool, bbq, pool room, tennis court etc., with a great deal of local charm the way the circa 1883 house has been rebuilt. It was v. hot whilst we were there (upper 30's), but with the shutters and mountain breezes we still found it very enjoyable. Within the village square, there is a football pitch, a kiosk which sells beers most evenings, where the locals gather. Conversations can be heard until gone midnight. Church bell strikes at 7am.

Perfect space. Really a super complete vacation home. Our congratulations for the space. The only "problem" we had was locomotion outside the house. We have a the family with limited mobility and the number of stairs and own house being situated on a slope did not help much. But obviously this is not a defect. We just wanted to highlight this part because as we have a lot of people in this situation and it makes it difficult a little bit. Outside if the stairs had handrails would be ideal . But everything was perfect thank you

This is the most spectacular Airbnb we've stayed in - the view is absolutely out of this world, with the swimming pool, terrace and all three bedrooms all facing out to it. The villa is extremely well stocked and we were able to cook lovely meals in both the main kitchen and the amazing outdoor cooking area - complete with large BBQ, wood-fired oven, gas hobs, sink and all the utensils and cutlery you need! I really cannot recommend it highly enough. It was also very easy to find using Google, and though the hill up to the house is steep, the driving otherwise around the area was easy along the banks of the Douro river. From the house we visited vineyards, great restaurants (including DOC at the bottom of the hill which was a great experience) and were very grateful to Eurico for a couple of bottles of the quinta's own Rose wine and port.

We really enjoyed staying at the river house. It is a very nice space with lots of green space, shade and sun areas, a forest to explore by the river and everything very well cared for and decorated. The apartments are well equipped and the hosts were very available, namely to accommodate all the needs of a baby. We recommend.

Our stay at this place was UNREAL! The views was like something taken from a movie with its hills and scenery. Jose, the host we were in contact with, made the whole stay even better! The wine tour was incredible and informative and having access to the pool during these hot days was incredible. The comments said the pool was private but in the booking it says shared pool. But I imagine the pool is restricted to the ones in the houses, not the camping. Overall, an incredible stay!! Will definitely come back some day!

The space of D. Fátima is excellent. The conditions are the ones that are presented and it is an excellent place to spend a few relaxed days. D Fátima was very helpful throughout the stay and was always available for whatever was necessary. A place to revisit, no doubt!

We loved the villa and its surroundings and Angela and Mario couldn’t have been more helpful. It is a short car journey into Mirandela where there are some great restaurants - recommended by our host. They were terrific value as well compared to restaurant prices in Porto! Unfortunately I picked up a head cold in Porto and had little energy to explore the local tracks. It’s a great place to stay with easy access to Tua Natural Parc and the Douro Valley, I would highly recommend it to our friends and family.

I don't think you could ever tire of the views from Quinta do Fraguil. They're breathtaking - we kept taking just one more photo! It's so special to be able to see so far into the distance and right down to the bottom of the valley. Even the local viewing point didn't match it! From start to finish, Rui was a friendly and really responsive host. He made us feel confident as soon as we had booked that we were going to be staying somewhere special. He turned up to meet us when we arrived and was in really good contact any time we needed to ask him anything before or during our stay. The pool is a total highlight - a good size and really clean. The house itself was also really clean and tastefully furnished. The outside eating area was perfect and made you feel happy to stay 'at home' and cook! We had sunshine every day and warm evenings sitting outside. This is the sort of place that you feel really sad to leave at the end of your holiday and one that you're very likely to visit again.

Carla's place is a small peaceful oasis, the garden with the view is splendid! The house is perfect, tastefully decorated, clean, tidy. The bedding is extremely comfortable. Upon arrival we were treated to small touches: chocolates, jam, champagne. We even had a Christmas tree as a decoration. There are small games for children available in the house in addition to swings and slide outside. Communication with the host was great, we were able to arrive earlier in our accommodation and we could have left later. Carla heard from us during the stay, asking us if everything was okay, we really appreciated that. The only small downside is the wifi network which does not work very well. We highly recommend this place for a family vacation!

The stay exceeded expectations! All very nice and always available hosts. We were also offered an excellent breakfast, with large variety and homemade products from the farm. We were very pleased, expecting to return.
