Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Vilano Beach

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house just a block from the ocean! The location is unbeatable—so close to the beach, yet quiet and relaxing. The private pool was a huge hit with our group, and the home offered tons of amenities that made our trip comfortable and fun. The house was spacious and well-equipped, perfect for a family getaway or a group trip. We especially appreciated the little extras that made it feel like home. That said, there were a couple of small misses that are worth noting. The flooring could have been cleaner—it left our feet quite dirty after walking barefoot, which was surprising for such a nice property. Also, we would have appreciated having enough bedding for all the beds, as we had to improvise a bit. Overall, we had a great time and would absolutely return with just a few improvements. The location, pool, and amenities definitely outweigh the minor issues!

This beach house was perfect for us! Plenty of space for the 9 of us and our dog. Gorgeous view from balcony and easy, quick access to the beach. Home has a wonderful laid back beach vibe and is fully stocked with everything you need - tons of beach gear, chairs, surfboards, and towels. Great outdoor patio area and grassy backyard leads directly to the beach. Loved having a double washer and dryer. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive to all of our questions and needs. Fun house and great stay!

This is the second time we stayed at this amazing property. It’s quiet and close to so many things. Pet friendly in most areas. Our puppy was super happy to be so close to the beach. The hosts responded almost immediately every time and honestly are so sweet. This is now our go to place for a quick weekend trip! Thank you so much!!!!

We just returned from a 3 night stay. The home was perfect for the 4 of us! The outside area on the canal was a perfect place to unwind and relax. Loved the close proximity to the beach access and to St Augustine area. Josh was a very proactive host. The area is very quiet, which we loved.

So relaxing In such a beautiful setting. Loved relaxing in the sun by the pool. Able to get fresh eggs every morning from the hens on the property who were always excited to see us. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again and stay at the property.

This place was amazing! Perfect location, only 15 minutes of St. George street. The pool was amazing and very refreshing! My dog absolutely loved the backyard. We even got to see a few deer! Very clean and the host is very responsive. My nephew loved the pool table! I would definitely recommend this location!

The home was beautiful and lovely. Better than the pictures. Easy path to the beach with amazing views inside the home. The beach was almost private with little other people around.

Great beach Vaca for the family. Good location right across from the beach. Pool was good. Ursula answered any questions we had. Great little book for guests with all kinds of information. Reef's and Aunt Kate's to was really good. if you have toddlers Jacksonville Zoo is a must. Approximately 12 minutes from Old City St Augustine. Gotta give a shout out to St Augustine Eco Tours fabulous give them a holler Emily was great. All in all pretty fabulous family vacation ❤️

This was our second visit to Fred and Lynn's home and it didn't disappoint. When visiting other home I have always taken my own pots and pans as I always encounter cheap thrift store cookware, but not here. I left my kitchen home this trip and it was great! We love how secluded and private it is. You would never know you are only 5 minutes away from shopping and grocery stores. Especially when the local deer herd visits in the early mornings and late afternoons. We plan on returning next summer! 😊

We very much enjoyed our stay! The condo was amazing. The pools were very clean and peaceful. Our host was very responsive and kind. The walk to the beach wasn’t that bad at all! I loved the security features and felt safe with my daughters. I would recommend this condo to friends, and would stay here again.

We had such an amazing weekend staying at the May St house in Saint Augustine!Damon was an absolutely wonderful host, and would respond quickly to any questions or concerns we had regarding the house. The location is perfect and in a safe part of town, and it’s only about a mile away from downtown Saint Augustine and is a quick drive to Vilano beach. I feel like you get so many amazing amenities at a wonderful price point. We will definitely stay here again!!

We stayed here with our 3 boys (9, 14 & 15) and my wife’s parents. Mom and Dad (along with my wife) grew up in St. Augustine and dad is in less than good health. We had the rest of the family come to town for a reunion. The house was wonderful for entertaining and the pool/gazebo was perfect for our evening gatherings. The kids LOVED the pool and we all did a lot of fishing off the dock. Beware of low tide though because there is very little water in the creek. However, at high tide it was absolutely beautiful!! Sunsets, spoonbills, turtles were all around and I even caught a big Sting Ray! We loved hanging out in the lanai and everyone slept very well at night. Overall an absolutely wonderful little gem in St Augustine!!

Villa Vilano was a wonderful place for a family celebration. We had everything we needed. The pool and backyard area was lovely. But what we loved the most was the beach! Whenever we had questions or needed assistance with something, Laura and Jeremy were always there to help! Cap’s restaurant was a beautiful place to walk to with views that were exquisite! Thank you for out magical stay!

Super location, a stones throw to any food you could think of! There were bikes available for use which is always nice in St. Auggie, will be back!

Such a beautiful setting! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful! The outside is well landscaped and kept very neat. The inside is very clean. There were plenty of towels and start ups for toilet paper, paper towels, dish and dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent. The beds were very comfortable. The beach is very easily accessible, just across the highway and a short walk. The area of beach was not crowded at all. The pool at the house was a great bonus after a long day at the beach. We enjoyed being close to town and many restaurants and shops. The host gave specific directions for everything and was easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay again!

Nick was a wonderful host. Very responsive and helpful, he gave lots of recommendations and was very helpful. The amenities were great and the only thing we needed was food. Very family friendly with lots of games. The short walk to the beach and all the beach accessories were great. He had a cooler bag, body boards, beach chairs, noodles and a large umbrella for us to use. The only thing you would need are beach towels. Overall it was a great stay, great host, and beautiful area.

Jason's place is just a short walk to town. Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful home within a 10-minute walk of downtown. It's located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. I'm planning on staying here, if available, the next time I visit St. Augustine.

Bernard, Kathy & Gizmo are truly the kindest hosts I've had the pleasure to stay with. The studio is private and everything is exactly as described. Even if you come for the very short walk to the beach, don't leave without at least one walk through the neighborhood. It is peaceful, beautiful, and very safe...and you can watch sunset on the river (after watching sunrise on the beach of course)! I highly recommend staying here...unless of course it's the week I want to come back and then please stay somewhere else so I can have the reservation ;) Thank you Bernard Kathy & Gizmo for being part of my retreat. Wonderful space in idyllic location with lovely host. Jolene’s place had everything you need for a beautiful trip to the beach. The location is as good as it gets. You’re as close to the beach as you can be without getting wet. Great private deck serves as your living room with comfy chairs and fantastic views. Kitchen is small but extremely well stocked and all you need for a few days at the beach. We used the grill one night and that worked perfectly. Washer/dryer came in handy. Plenty of fridge space. Beach chairs and boogie boards came in handy, too, and my wife made me mention that the bed was BY FAR the nicest bed at any place we have ever stayed. Jolene couldn’t be a nicer person. This is a great place to just take it easy and enjoy the good life. Great stay!!

My husband and I stayed 2 nights while attending a concert a St. Augustine. We always stay on Vilano and Cristina's place didn't disappoint! It was perfect for 2 people. Comfy bed, cute furnishings, great bathroom. Location is easily walkable to the beautiful beach and a quick drive to all the hot spots of St. Augustine. We would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay in this private little neighborhood in St. Augustine. Between the beach being a short walk away and the nightly golf cart rides that ended with a quick swim in the pool this house had it all. Excellent Host and would highly recommended this stay.

Celebrated our 25th Anniversary and we couldn't have been any happier. Not only was Weston's place OUTSTANDING but was close enough to everything that St. Augustine has to offer. Great to be able to "come home" and relax away from it all. Definitely returning! Thank you Weston!
