This place was pristine! Whoever designed this home had excellent attention to detail. The landscape has grown in nicely since the pictures were taken so the property was even more beautiful than expected. With no adjacent rear neighbor, the trees, foliage and wildlife behind the home are beautiful. In fact, there is only one home adjacent to the property but and it's separated by a pretty good privacy fence. Loved the small surf town of Playa Grande as well!

The Casa Vera Vista was a beautiful villa on the cliff side over looking the bay with the most beautiful sunsets. The villa was close to the beach and great restaurants plus a good starting point for many excursions. The concierge team was always there when we needed them throughout the entire trip as well as with planning prior to arriving. The house was very clean, decorated very tastefully and had comfortable beds. The daily cleaning service was very helpful with three kiddos in tow. We had two dinners and breakfast with the recommended chefs and they exceeded our expectations, with both delicious food and friendly company. Our driver Raudy was always on time, professional and was very helpful in getting around with our busy itinerary. We definitely did a lot on our trip (zip lining, deep sea fishing, ATVs, snorkeling, rainforest, waterfalls, hot springs etc) and staying at the villa with the concierge service made it that much more special. Lots of wild at the house too! Pura Vida

La experiencia fue excelente. El anfitrión respondió siempre muy rápido y fue muy atento durante toda nuestra estadía. La ubicación del lugar es increíble, a solo 8 minutos del centro de Tamarindo y con fácil acceso a muchas otras playas — ¡en 30 minutos podés llegar a varias! La casa está equipada con todo lo básico que se necesita y es perfecta para relajarse. En general, súper recomendado para quienes quieran descansar y explorar diferentes playas de la zona.

This Airbnb is the perfect place to disconnect. The area is super quiet—ideal for relaxing and recharging. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Rodrigo was an amazing host—always attentive, quick to respond, and thoughtful about every detail. You can tell he genuinely cares about making the stay great. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway away from the noise, this is the spot. Highly recommended!

This is a great place even if you never left the property it's such an enjoyable place to be we have watched the monkeys eat mangoes from the trees the rain in the evening and enjoyed the pool during the day the beach is a 3 minute drive and the home is absolutely amazing wouldn't change a thing.

We spent three nights at Villa Senor Gato with a group of nine, and everyone absolutely loved the location. The house is in a perfect spot with stunning views. I practically had to drag the guys out—no one wanted to leave the pool! Seb was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns we had. We’re definitely coming back—Villa El Senor Gato made me fall in love with Costa Rica! ~ Pura Vida ~

Camille and her mom are wonderful hosts. The house was like a beautiful dream. It smelled so good every time I entered. The pool was always clean. I saw many animals. We didn't want to leave, but we would definitely come back again with my family to stay longer. The nature, the animals, the birds—I was truly happy there. I recommend that future guests be aware that if the directions don't lead you past Flamingo Beach, you might be on the wrong path. It's better to take the longer route to be sure.

Casa Rosita was amazing….. every little thing. The location, neighborhood, amenities and the furnishings. We spent so much time on the covered porch and pool in the afternoons and evenings. Having access to the beach club was a huge benefit…. We loved hanging by the pool, watching the monkeys and having cocktails. Will be back!

We had a wonderful stay! House is even more beautiful than the pictures! Extremely clean and comfortable beds/seating areas… Outdoor space is gorgeous. Perfect set up for our family vacation with adult children/SO Primary bedroom is on its own floor with sitting area, and private porch. Could be great for a girls weekend too! We rented a car and explored Playa Grande and surrounding areas… We loved Pots & bowls, Huerto’s, Surf Dog and the brewery in town for dining options. Great house in Playa Grande, close to restaurants and beach! Highly recommend!

Nice property. Nice pool. Few min drive to Tamarindo. Good AC. Good beds👍👍👍 No oil in the kitchen. Animals in the garden😁👌

We stayed at Johan's place from Feb 1st-8th. Their place is exactly like the pictures. They have it fully equipped which is great when you're "away from home but it feels like home!" It's in a gated community so you feel safe and close to everything. We really enjoyed the terrace and the pool! Thanks so much for having us!!

We had a blast for our Christmas getaway! First, Mary incredible host, super caring for everything and on the call for any questions we had. The house beautiful, private pool with garden, we loved those lamps hanging on the trees. The kitchen is set with everything we needed, great bbq nights. Bedrooms and bathrooms impeccable. And the surroundings could not get any better; beach club access, golf, tennis, morning walks, great bike rides and pet friendly! Thank you Mary we really felt as home!!! Delightful vacations. And we will be back ASAP!

We recently stayed at this amazing and had a truly wonderful experience. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. The pool was crystal clear and perfect for lounging, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials. One of the standout parts of our stay was how responsive and helpful our host, Evelyn, was. She made everything easy and stress-free, from check-in to answering questions during our stay. Her attentiveness added a special touch. The location was ideal—peaceful and quiet, yet everything was within walking distance, including shops, restaurants, and the beach. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway where you can truly unplug and unwind. Each morning, we woke up to the unique sound of howler monkeys in the distance. While we didn’t see them on the property, hearing them added a special, natural vibe to the trip. If you’re planning a visit, we recommend bringing bug spray, get used to seeing bugs and lizards.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour en famille à Jardin Escondido à Playa Grande… nous avons beaucoup aimé les espaces communs, la piscine, la salle de sport et la salle de jeux où nous avons bien profité du baby foot et de la table de ping pong. Jardin Escondido est très bien situé à Playa Grande, seulement 2 min en voiture de la plage où nous avons pu surfer tous les jours et profiter de magnifiques couchers de soleil!! Nous n’hésiterons pas une seule seconde à revenir à Jardin Escondido pour notre prochain voyage à Playa Grande!! Merci à vous tous pour votre flexibilité et votre disponibilité!! Lovely, clean and comfortable home in a safe and beautiful neighborhood. We arrived in the evening and it was a little bit of work getting into the neighborhood (they didn’t have our names for arrival). Power went out the first morning so that interrupted cooking breakfast (thankfully we brought some food and we used the grill) but then we also didn’t have water or a/c (and then had to get instructions for water filtering system). Also could not get into laundry facilities, even using a second set of keys. Host/concierge was responsive to communication but still couldn’t fix situation. Host/concierge also helped us start outdoor fire pit. Definitely would need to have or rent a car as it is not walkable to any tourist spots, beach, restaurants or stores. We had trouble getting Ubers and getting food for evening meals. We walked to JW Marriott but the beach was not a swimming beach and no amenities unless you stay or pay to join club. We were able to get an uber/taxi from the hotel.

Sebastian’s home is an amazing and accommodating space away from home. Very clean and has all the things you need to enjoy your vacation in Playa Grande. Great geographical location and close to all the beautiful beaches.

The place was stunning and super comfortable. Nothing bad to say regarding the host or the house. However, it's worth noting that the Águila Bar is located very close to the property. During our stay, the music was quite loud, and we noticed some concerning behavior from people at the bar, including drug use. While nothing bad happened, we didn’t feel entirely comfortable being outside the house or leaving our belongings unattended. To be clear, this is just my personal impression regarding the bar nearby—it had nothing to do with the host or the house itself. As a mention the house was beautiful!

Would absolutely recommend a stay here. The house is just as nice as it looks in the pictures. Easy access to restaurants bars and the beach. Host was super responsive with local recommendations and helping us book activities.

This little condo was well worth all the tedious searching to find the perfect place for my husband and I on our second honeymoon. Not only does it feel like you're surrounded by the tropical forest even though you're in the city of Tamarindo, the vibes and amenities our top-notch. The bedroom got plenty of natural light which felt very romantic and bright in the morning. Really great storage for personal belongings. I love the real plants well taken care of inside and outside of the house. The kitchen was super well stocked and had everything we needed to cook our own food. The front patios hammock is perfectly placed as well and was great for morning coffee and reading. The 10-minute walk to our favorite beach for a delicious breakers in the morning, surrounded by howler monkeys and amazing birds was the cherry on top! p.s. there's a gym right across the street which is awesome. Can't wait to visit here again!

The host,Fede, was absolutely brilliant - very helpful and was able to assist with all our queries and requests. The villa was gorgeous, very spacious, clean and truly felt like home. the location was ideal as it was right in the heart of Tamarindo and it was very quiet at night, no noise. So grateful to have enjoyed staying at this beautiful home 💚

Highly recommend Patrizia’s home for an amazing and special time in Costa Rica. Patrizia and her property manager Rosa were extremely helpful and supportive leading up to and during the trip. They answered all our questions, helped arranged transportation and gave many great local suggestions. The property itself was great, it came fully stocked, the beds were comfortable and the salt water pool was very nice. The location of the property was private, secure and quiet and very close to town with the use of a golf cart and is walkable without. We were looking at a few different properties for our stay but we’re very glad we chose this property. Rosa and Patrizia truly went above and beyond and it really made our trip an unforgettable one.

We had a great stay here. Communication was fantastic and entering the house was very easy with the provided codes. The house was well appointed and we cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner in the kitchen and on the BBQ. A great space to share with friends and family. The pool was great and the beach was only a 15min walk. A very nice house to stay at away from the noise of the busy main road, but close enough to walk there. 100% recommend!
