Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Virgil

Our group of 12 stayed over the weekend and we had plenty of space and the kitchen was very well stocked. Julia and Bart were super flexible and always communicated well with us. We had a great experience and will definitely stay again if we come back to Cortland!

This place is truly unique. It's a get away space for musicians who share it when they aren't using it. The place has been built up and settled in. It's gorgeous, the location and the barn architecture. But it's not uptight. It feels like late 60s - early 70s rock and roll, or like classic country music. Maddy's family has a phenomenal record collection and the stereo sounds SO good. The albums we brought came to life there. There's also an excellent book collection, lots of rock and music stuff but also philosophy, literature, eco books, and classic kids book (lots of kids books and a massive toy trunk with toys for kids of all ages!). The kitchen has got pretty much everything you need, and all the basic amenities and appliances. Around about are lots of area lamps, interesting hangings, colored glass, rugs, throws, and well cared for house plants. Finally, the pond and field have not been chemical killed. So, there are lots of birds, frogs, fish, and nests.

Brandon’s house was terrific for race weekend in Watkins Glen. My friends and I had the Main Street in the village within walking distance and let us explore with ease. The house itself was comfortable with many cooling units and had everything we needed from streaming services to plenty of fresh towels and a fully stocked kitchen. I would highly recommend staying at Brandon’s house, especially those who want to see what Watkins Glen has to offer.

Great place. Very quiet and secluded. Plenty of firewoood

A great rustic getaway! It was great being between cayuga and seneca lakes - everything was a 20 min drive to see beautiful falls in every direction, great wineries/cideries (finger lakes cider house had amazing food to go with the cider), great restaurants (stonecat and elf in the oak) and Ithaca Farmer's Market (must see - so plan a Sat or Sun there). Sunsets were fabulous from the porch and over the fields and the hens were a joy to experience - so cute - and the gentle Q was so good with our cautious rescue pup. But the best part of the stay was Carey's hospitality - tending to every need and providing great suggestions of things to do/see tailored to our interests and giving us a true taste of the area - with local fresh eggs, fruit, wonderful baked bread, granola, cider, wine, cheese, baked goods and the best yogurt ever! We didn't even miss the tv (during football and world series even)!

Nice place. Just a few things needed to be better. The bathroom door didn’t lock. It took a while for the place to get well heated. Overall it served my purpose

I stayed at Alicia's for two weeks while working remotely. Alicia has created a beautiful, warm, welcoming place to stay. I loved the thoughtful artistic touches throughout the space, the extensive trails out behind the house, and of course getting to know Alicia. Staying here was such a special experience.

Perfect location for a show at a local venue. Clean and comfortable and shops and restaurants a short drive in either direction. Matt and Kristy were responsive and had great instructions and communications. I will look to book again when returning to the area.

We had 8 family members up for our son's graduation from Syracuse University and Amy's place was perfect for us. Plenty of space, clean and neat, VERY comfortable beds, all linens and towels included. Came in on a cold, rainy Friday afternoon and were very appreciative of her gas fireplace that quickly warmed the condo. Also liked that there were individual heat settings for each bedroom for everyone's individual tastes. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathrooms were clean and updated. Highly recommend!

Location location location!!! Walked to ski. No lines, no parking, loved it. If you value convenience over modern decor, this is THE place to stay at GP.

The interior decorating, design, construction and the stocking of the space with super useful items was excellent. We appreciated the attention to detail and will stay here again.

Great place, wonderful outdoor patio and view of the mountain!

We enjoyed our stay here to go to the waterpark and Destiny USA mall. Would stay here again!
