Holiday rentals with beach access in Visayas

We had a truly wonderful stay at this place! The location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk from the beach, which made every day feel like a true getaway. The hosts were incredibly proactive and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed and more. A special shoutout to John, the caretaker, who went above and beyond. He picked us up and dropped us off at the port, and even gave us a mini tour of the area, which really helped us settle in quickly and enjoy our time to the fullest. The hospitality we received made this trip unforgettable. I would absolutely come back if I had the chance. Highly recommended!

Our stay was lovely. With your own private gate to a coral reef at the bottom of the garden and a stunning view to match, you could not be in better surroundings. Chin Chin and Litho, our caretakers, took care of any requests we had when we asked them. There are a few local eateries within a few minutes' walk from the property and you can get a bus into Dumaguete right outside the house - it takes about 45 minutes. The only things to note are the numerous cockerals that crow at all hours and the fact that the water pressure in the shower is quite low. Apart from this, if you love being off the beaten track and you want a slice of local culture, then this is the place for you!

We had a great stay! The place was exactly as described and definitely worth the price. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. During our stay, there was a brownout and a temporary loss of internet connection, but the host was super responsive—kept us updated throughout and even provided some alternatives to help manage the situation. It really showed how much they care about their guests. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great-value stay with a reliable and helpful host.

The value is very, very good. There were no wheels, no ants. There were old traces, but the tidiness and cleanliness were very good, and I used the washer + dryer all-in-one every day. Hot water came out very well for two days, but suddenly it didn't come out, but I just washed it. Heh heh. He responded right away, and since I didn't have any inquiries for more than two days, he first told me to tell him if I had any inconveniences. The kitchen sink is also clean. There were plenty of towels. It's convenient and not crowded because it's within walking distance of nearby living facilities. There was plenty of space for my 5th grade son and his mom, and there was an air-conditioned living room and bedroom, and the control was good, and there was no moldy smell. It's a wall-mounted air conditioner, so there's no noise. There was a vacuum cleaner and a rolling pin, so I just did it simply and lived well for 6 nights. You can log in to Netflix and watch YouTube. There is a space for garbage next to the elevator, so you can dispose of it every day. And most importantly, the bed mattress was so comfortable and nice. I prefer hard mats, but it was very comfortable and perfect for us. The pillow was comfortable, and the blanket wasn't thin, so it was nice. I'd like to visit again if I'm in town for my next plan. I think it would be nice to live there for a month during the vacation. Oh, and the swimming pool on the 5th floor is spacious and great for spending time.

The place is very spacious and beautiful. Every corner is a hangout spot. We love the living room. The place feels so cozy. It is relaxing every time we go back after a long and tiring day. The balcony is also a great place to hang out—we had a chill breakfast in there before preparing for the day. We also appreciated the inclusion of drinking water and coffee. This place is indeed highly recommended.

Theres really not much communication needed with Grace as the place looked just as advertised… and more! She gave clear instructions from getting there to check in, assistance and check out. The place was perfect. It was simple yet it provided all the basic necessities you would need to feel comfortable be it short or long stay. It is the perfect getaway place for someone looking for peace and privacy. This is an accommodation that all the families who traveled together were satisfied. There was nothing lacking for multiple people to stay and the pool and view were really nice. The location is a little far from downtown Alona Beach, but they helped us right away with car layout if needed. I stayed for 3 nights, but I didn't clean it separately. (I think they only do it if requested) The towels were replenished upon request. It is expensive but the quick response from the house and the housekeeper seems to be worth it. We were able to have a great vacation. Especially, we were able to see the sunset every day and it's really beautiful.

It is what you see in pictures. But in the app they didn’t tell that one of the rooms doesn’t have an air condition. The place is nice and cosy but there are smell of the molds specially the second floor.

Incredible property that didn't disappoint. Spacious with an unmatched view, very responsive and friendly hosts. Not much for restaurants around so you will have to travel if wanting to eat out but it's located near the middle of the island so great access to the mountains and experiences. lots of fisherman right on front of the house so you can go down and try some sea urchin! You will probably want to rent motorbikes as van rentals are pricey in that area and not sure how readily available Grab is. Can also your tricycles from Pangloa if you are a family.

Book a last minute trip to relax my family...looking at beachfront properties that has privacy. The place got it all . Beautiful white sand beachfront property, has privacy, tranquil , clean,private and friendly care taker.

This was my second trip to cebu , and Queno place is perfect if you want to be near everything. You can walk right across the street and you have everything from coffee cafes , Japanese food, chicken & beer , night club , dunkin donuts , breakfast lounge with a full bar and food menu, and at night it's a hookah lounge upstairs.

The place was very lovely, clean, spacious and is exactly what was seen and described. We had a very comfortable stay with my family. Location was good and transport was accessible. Communication with the host was wonderful and she responds very well despite the time difference. Well managed, five stars!

This is a recommended place to stay for those who want to enjoy a private and quiet resort for adults. Everything was as described. There were detailed and accurate instructions on how to get there from the airport and how to check in. There were plenty of towels and a gift of snacks in the room. The clean kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. The bed was also very comfortable. The resort staff were all friendly, and the area was very calm and quiet. The resort building is quite far from the entrance, so you need a taxi to get out. You can purchase a one-day pass at the resort for $1,800, but the maximum you can use for meals is $1,100, and breakfast was $1,000. There are not many fish on the compact private beach. If you want to enjoy the beach, I recommend joined an island hopping tour.

Amazing place, great location , close to beach and restaurants. There was a lot of building work going on next to the building which made sleeping at night not so good but it could not be helped I suppose, Karl was a lovely host and made us feel very welcomed. Our family enjoyed our stay at this amazing home and will definitely stay there again when we visit again x

Hands down best communication I have had through Airbnb. Everyone was so helpful with transportation arrangements and information on activities to do while visiting Bohol. Would Highly recommend staying at this property.
