De Oude Smederij

Enjoy and relax in the Frisian countryside? This is possible with us in De Oude Smederij, which was formerly a forge but has been completely renovated into a comfortable vacation home. The Oude Smederij is located in an agricultural area on the outskirts of the village of Arum (on the Elfsteden route) and is centrally located between Harlingen (on the Wadden Sea with ferry services to Vlieland and Terschelling), Franeker (Planetarium and Frisian Museum), Bolsward (Broerekerk) and Makkum, located on the IJsselmeer with boulevard and beach.

Farmhouse Okkingastate

Even helemaal er tussen uit? Dat kan op onze 200 jaar oude boerderij dichtbij de Waddenkust (Unesco WereldErfgoed) en de steden Leeuwarden, Harlingen en Franeker. Het Voorhuis van de boerderij is omgebouwd tot een royaal gastenverblijf met uitzicht over de tuin, weilanden. We hebben een biologisch melkveebedrijf en werken zoveel mogelijk met de natuur mee. Kom je bij ons overnachten dan kun je het boerenleven, de Waddenkust en Friesland, helemaal in je eigen ritme, ontdekken en beleven. Welkom!

Tiny Farm House met hot tub.

Tussen de groene vlaktes van het Friesche Menaldum vindt u de uniek gebouwde Tiny Farm House met veranda inclusief hot tub. Deze grenst aan een traditionele kop hals romp boerderij uit 1880. Sinds 1980 runt boer Folkert de melkveehouderij waar 110 koeien gemelkt worden. Kom tot rust in de hot tub of neem een duik in de zwemvijver nabij. Ga met de veerboot een dag naar Terschelling of Vlieland. Breng een bezoek aan de hoofdstad Leeuwarden of stap op de fiets en verken de omgeving.

Tiniehouse with spectacular dirt in fruit garden

In the middle of our fruit tree garden at our small-scale horse farm is this cozy Tiniehouse. Beautiful unobstructed views of the countryside with grazing herd of horses, sheep and cows. Fully equipped on a small surface: Delicious double sofa bed with topper. Table + chairs, kitchenette: 2 burner induction hob, microwave, coffee maker & kettle. Toilet is located in the stable at 25 meters. Washing can be done with hot water (5 liter boiler) and 2x shower bag for outdoor showering.

De vrijstaande woning beschikt over eenvoudige voorzieningen, een gezellige warme kamer met eigen keuken, glasvezel internet, tv, WC en douche. De ruimte is ook geschikt voor ongestoord studeren en/of werken, in volledige privacy. Vanuit het keukenraam heeft u weids uitzicht over de tuin en Friese akkers.

Inside, it is always warm thanks to the radiators, and there is also a wood-burning stove for those who know how it works. Then you can turn it on. Wood is there. Duvets are 2 in 1. They are washed every time. Small Air conditioning in summer. Within walking distance along the harbor. Is the city center (15 min.), station (10 min.) and the beach (20 min.)

B&B weidse blik Ingelum ligt midden in de natuur, met eigen weg op een erf. Wilt u er even tussenuit? Houdt u van de natuur, rust? Dan bent u in ons chalet aan het juiste adres! Het chalet is huiselijk ingericht en de keuken is volledig uitgerust met vaatwasser, oven, magnetron, koelkast/ vriezer. Bij aankomst zijn de bedden opgemaakt en er is voldoende bad- en keukenlinnen aanwezig. Er is een mogelijkheid om ontbijt te bestellen,in de weekenden lukt dit wel door de week

"De Mooie Liefde" Tiny house in Friesland.

Our "Beautiful Love" used to be the horse stable belonging to the centuries-old farm in which we live. In 2020, we transformed it together with a lot of love and passion into a tiny house with an old lived-in look. The green staircase leads upstairs to the beautiful loft with a 180x200 bed, with a double mattress and a double sheep wool duvet. Under the loft, you will find the beautiful bathroom and kitchen. The houseboat is uniquely located, within a 10-minute walk you are in the historic center of Harlingen. Suitable for 4 people, the houseboat offers all comforts, including a cozy living room, well-equipped kitchenette, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom. The ideal base for a visit to the Wadden Islands and Frisian lakes.

Sustainable, cozy, private guesthouse in Berlikum

Guest accommodation on the first floor of our sustainable home (1880). Private entrance, kitchen, shower and toilet. Located on the continuous waterway. We live in the house (Jasper, Marleen, Thijmen, 12, Rense, 9, and Feline, 7). We renovated the house ourselves. Recently, the entire guest house has been renovated. The guest house has a kitchenette with all the necessary amenities (fridge-freezer, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, stove, etc.)

Our beautiful comfortable Bakhuske is a small cozy apartment and equipped with every comfort. You have access to a small terrace, and you can also use the garden. Where you can enjoy the sun or, for example, make a fire. You can cycle and walk in the area. There are bicycle routes available.
