Tent holiday rentals in Wadden Sea

We had a wonderful long weekend in the safari tent - even the rain could not spoil the great experience. The tent was exactly as described: cozy, clean and perfectly equipped. It was an exciting little adventure, especially for the children, which they will not forget so quickly. We really liked the quiet location and the seclusion - just the thing to switch off and enjoy nature. Johannes was a great host: very helpful, friendly and always quick to respond when we had a question. Thank you for this special break - we will be happy to come back!

great quiet spot in rural Netherlands. we only had a short stay, but would love to come back. the tent was perfect and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the light rain.

The lodge is very lovely, Michel & Josephine are very kind hosts! The communication was also very good. We could spend 4 relaxing days with a group of 6 people and a dog. Excellent place for a getaway from the busy cities.

We had an amazing time at Hestkær Family Rooms! The cozy deluxe tents, family-friendly atmosphere, and well-equipped kitchen made my stay truly memorable. The staff's hospitality and the abundance of children's play facilities added a special touch. Looking forward to coming back!

Had a very nice stay (2 adults and 2 small children). The safari tent was full of comforts and was in a nice place. The children had plenty of space and could play in the playground. An air cushion was even blown up that she hadn't rented out at the time. The kids thought it was fantastic. Cindy was very nice, the reception hospitable and she went out of her way in a relaxed way to make our stay even more enjoyable by, for example, giving a tip about the 1st pasture of the year of the cows at a farmer's nearby. Super fun to make once in a lifetime! The campsite was really super neat, with very clean, modern and neat sanitary facilities. Although small, the campsite has everything you need. A very nice place with a nice vibe. We'd love to come back!

Super fint Glamping counts. Really quiet and nice surroundings. We bought a morning basket which was really delicious with freshly made coffee, cold cuts, cheese, juice, and delicious bread. Very nice staff. Would definitely recommend the place.

An ideal opportunity to escape everyday life and find peace. The campsite was well attended and inhabited, yet there were many opportunities to retreat with a book and enjoy the ambiance or explore the surroundings. The vending machines and ice cream cart offer an ideal opportunity to cool off on warm days and you can end the evening comfortably at the beach bar. It was very positive that the entire place was very clean and free of garbage and that the sanitary facilities were always kept clean. Clear, sensitive for a trip, to let the thoughts drift away and breathe through. 🏖️

We were completely satisfied! The surroundings and the campsite were very nice and well maintained.

The nights at Mark's were just right if you are looking for proximity to nature and tranquility. Without much frills, quiet, idyllic, uncomplicated, and so much more. The small but nice kitchen gives everything for quick use and it doesn't have to be more. The tent itself is beautiful and cozy. Even in the rain and thunderstorms, you can sleep well and relaxed outside. Everything is clean and tidy. However, a few cobwebs are part of the property's charm. If you have any questions, Mark is always available and has good tips around the area. All in all, it was a very successful short trip and just right if you are looking for nature, distance from all the great chaos and tranquility.

Margret and Tanja are wonderful hosts - incredibly friendly and warm, we immediately felt welcome as a family. The tent was super cozy and the breakfast is absolutely recommended. All around, it was a great stay for us! I'm sure we'll be back!

Moin from Hamburg. We booked an overnight stay and would definitely not be disappointed. We(family of 5) checked in around 8:30pm. I asked the mega likeable owners where I could buy something to eat in the area for the children, without hesitation he opened up the farm and offered me to make fries and frills for everyone (in the middle of the night). Of course, I gratefully accepted the offer. So Papa was the hero that evening thanks to the nice person. Mega beautiful idyllic location. At first glance from the window, we noticed that the farm chickens greeted us directly on the veranda. Truly a paradise place to relax. Always happy to come back. And thank you again for everything. My daughter and I had a great weekend in the glamping tent with Ines in the best weather. She and Lars are very likeable hosts, we felt very comfortable. The garden is large and wonderfully designed. There were various seats. Ines has created a space where guests feel welcome and can enjoy their time. The three dogs were pleasant temporary companions to us. Since we've been without a dog, we've had to cuddle with strangers😉. Outdoor kitchen with sharp knives (big plus and rare in Airbnbs), outdoor shower and bathtub: great👍. Great place by the pond for breakfast and in the evening we were able to sit outside for a long time under the mosquito net. Only the way to the toilet is a bit awkward, but ok. Even if you are in a very rural location in a small village, you can hear the traffic on the highway depending on the direction of the wind. However, we found the frog concert🐸, the water noises of the koi 🐡and other animals wonderful. We'll be back 😊

We enjoyed using the tent. Enjoyed the peace, the birds in and around the lake in front of the tent. Slept well and can cook well in the kitchen. It was a nice base to the larger lake to sail for a day. We'd love to come back.

It was a great experience all in all. The place was clean and as described. We went in October so the cold weather at night was something to get used to. But thanks to the fire heater inside, we did! I would definitely go back, for the peace, for the beautiful nature.. the whole camping area felt super safe and comfortable.

Thank you for the nice and above all very spontaneous visit to you. We felt very comfortable as NEW glampers and especially the children enjoyed this mini adventure in nature and directly at the playground. Gladly again.

Lovely stay in the middle of nature! Very friendly staff and the tent itself was spotless and had everything we needed. Note that because it’s a tent it might get cold at night. There is a small heater and some water bottles available but the tent can get a bit drafty. Would definitely recommend to come if you’re looking for a peaceful escape in the Netherlands!
