The Little Louise was fantastic. Jenene was super responsive, friendly and helpful. My partner and I loved every moment during our stay. The house has a stunning view of piha beach and the iconic lions to rock where we spent dawn to dusk in awe. We loved all the attention to detail and cant wait to visit again.

Kia ora, we loved our stay here. The guesthouse was far enough away from the main house to be private and it felt like our own space. Gregoire and Chrystal offered beautiful manaaki with a late check-in, late check-out and checked in with us to see how it was going during the stay. We fell asleep to the sound of waves, awoke to birdsong and it is only a short hīkoi for a swim. It was perfect. Thanks for having us. Ngā mihi, Jess & Joe

This Airbnb has the most incredible sea view we’ve ever seen! The deck is huge, with a great BBQ area and while grilling, you can even play mini-golf while looking out at the ocean. Such a fun and unique touch! The house itself was spotless and had everything we needed for a perfect, relaxing getaway. And of course, the absolute highlight the hot tub with a view of Muriwai Beach. That was simply unforgettable. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic escape

The Blue House - Piha Retreat

This luxurious mountain-top eerie offering spectacular views over Auckland's iconic Piha Beach was the setting for a recent 'Big Chill'-style Easter reunion with old friends. The gorgeous open-plan kitchen, dining and living room provided the focus for the group to reminsice about our youthful exploits at Piha over wine, fine food and chocolate easter eggs. There is sleeping available for eight, though there were only six of us. The house has all the mod-cons, including a beautiful stereo system, featuring creamy-sounding Linn speakers. We spent hours reading and chilling in beautiful designer chairs, or looking out at the panoramic view of Lion Rock. One suggestion is the deck is crying out for built-in barbecue, though I imagine council regulations might prevent that. Also, Piha is (STILL, after 40 years) woefully under-serviced by shops, so make sure you load up on everything (including wine and beer) in Auckland beforehand. A truly memorable weekend.

We really liked staying in this house. It’s a really great beach house that is quite comfortable and has heaps of personality to it. The views of the Tasman and the nearby dune fields are unbelievable. Paula was such a friendly and effective host. She gave us great advice on how to reach a nearby lake by trekking over the dunes. Definitely want to go back!
