You are so close to everything the Northern Beaches has to offer, especially as it is just a 10-minute drive/bus trip to Manly Beach & Dee Why has access to the B-line (express bus) straight to Sydney City. Explore & take long walks to enjoy the environment, native flora & vibe of the local area. Long Reef Beach Nature Reserve is a short stroll north, or head south to Curl Curl & Freshwater Beaches. Whilst staying at Banksia there is little need to have a vehicle as you can walk to the beach, cafes, restaurants & supermarkets. The bus stop is just at the end of the laneway on Griffin Rd. You might like to take a short bus ride into Manly where you can hop on a ferry to take you across to the City & Bondi - if you are so inclined to venture to the 'dark side'. Try a walk around Dee Why lagoon to check out the bird life, or a cliff walk from Dee Why to Curl Curl with stunning views. Walk to Long Reef Marnie Reserve or take a bike ride around Narrabeen Lake. Do a short drive to Manly or visit Palm Beach. Shop at Westfield Shopping Mall. Dee Why is one of the northern beaches' most popular dining & surfing areas. Take advantage of the coastal living & hit the beaches, rock pool or promenade to soak up the sun.
