Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Waterford

Had a great time here with family. It is so private, you don't realize you're so close to everything. Jennifer gave us tips of things to do, and everything is walkable.

This is our second visit to Weavers Cottage.. The cottage is light, airy and warm. The furnishing and fixing are all of a high standard. The cottage has every amenity you could need. It is 5 minutes from the centre of the village and the river. There are many beautiful walks from the village and nearby. Mary is a warm and welcoming host. She kindly leave basic provision to see you through your first night at the cottage. When I suffered toothache she helped us find a local emergency dentist. I cannot praise Mary or her cottage enough.

We stayed at Donals place for 2 nights at a reasonable cost. We loved the tranquility of the place. very spacious, very clean and all the essentials provided. parking just outside the door, very safe. The local information regarding places of interest, places to eat / drink etc were first class. We met with Donal after arriving and found him to be a friendly and charming man, nothing was too much trouble for him. The property is remote, however with a car / bike the nearest village is only a few miles away (L1035). We visited Carrick-on-Suir (6 miles, N24) on Donals recommendation, a large town with all amenities available. Waterford is a car ride away. Overall, a brilliant place. Thank you Donal.

We really enjoyed our stay. We thought the house was superb, very well equipped and comfortable. We hope to return and would highly recommend Mary’s place as a base for a walking holiday in beautiful Tipperary. Thank you.

We loved Christy’s house. It was exactly as described. The views were stunning & the house was spotlessly clean. We had a minor problem with the hot water on the first morning & Christy got it sorted while we were out during the day which was great. A beautiful house in a wonderful location & a great host we would definitely stay again!

House was beautiful, spacious and comfortable, and was pristinely clean. Mark was really generous and accommodating of our requests, and checked in on us over the weekend. We were travelling for an event so didn't get to explore the area this time.

Michelle was so accommodating and kind. We booked the same day of arrival and Michelle went out of her way to go to and clean and sort out the place before our arrival. The home is perfect for families and pets. The estate’s amenities are great, and we enjoyed tea and scones in the club house as well as use of the leisure centre.

Duckling cottage was the perfect place for our break! The setting within Ballymaloe is absolutely beautiful. The space was ideal, enough room, cosy, comfy bed and sofas. Room to eat and oven and cooker worked perfectly. All the staff at Ballymaloe were really lovely and friendly! Robyn was very helpful and kind, she came over with things we needed within minutes of messaging her. I would definitely recommend Duckling cottage and would love to be back!

We had a beautiful holiday here in the coach house of Kilmokea Country Manor. The coach house is fantastic, full of character and the bedrooms are large and airy with views of peacocks from the windows. The setting is quiet and peaceful and the wild and bountiful gardens are just magnificent to wander through in awe. There is a great tennis court and beautiful swimming pool framed with French Doors and ample changing areas. Emma and Mark were absolutely superb hosts. They are warm, friendly, accommodating and a pleasure to meet around the place. My only tiny note is that I would have liked a list of extra charges in advance - just so I had more awareness of costs I was incurring as I went along. The jacuzzi is extra, as is the sauna, and there is a daily charge for utilities. I am sure this is all in the provided info knowing these careful hosts but I somehow missed these details. Anyway nothing could possibly detract from what is an absolute hidden paradise. Book immediately !!

Snugborough was exactly as advertised and being honest it was beyond our expectations. We were met by Jennifier with warm scones and given information on the local villages and surrounds. The cottage was warm and cosy and set a peaceful location with magnificant views and a beautiful garden to wander around. We will definitely be staying in Snugborough again. Found this an amazing spot tucked away in the Wexford countryside. The Bungaloe had everything we needed and more. Ten minute walk to the beautiful Tinnaberna beach. Evenings were spent relaxing and enjoying the peaceful setting. Definitely would plan a return trip .Blessed with the weather made even more special.

Wonderful stay at the apartment. Amazing location and so walkable. Enjoyed ourselves immensely and Dave was very flexible and helpful in getting us weary travelers to our home.

Fabulous, quirky stay up the mountains. Our two dogs loved it. So beautifully decored and the horse trailer toilet was so cool. Great place to sit by the fire and chat. Also beautiful walks very close by. Thanks so much. We will be back

We had a lovely few days at the cottage. It was the perfect base for seeing local attractions and further afield. Patrick and Mary were really helpful in highlighting places to visit and eat. Goldie the dog was also friendly and loved a belly rub. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable and had fabulous views of the Galtees.

It was very quiet and peaceful. The sounds of birds and bees was a wonderful change from noisy traffic. If your aim is to get away from it all and touch some grass, then this is the place. Georgina, made us welcome and everything was great. Definitely recommend!
