The host was incredibly responsive and provided great recommendations for all local things. It spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and had a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the front enclosed porch where our toddlers could play with plenty of room. They loved the variety of toys the host provided. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

The home itself strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. Inside, the decor is thoughtful and unique: a nostalgic mix of vintage childhood sports photos, striking modern art, and beautiful antiques. It all blends together to create a space that feels both stylish and deeply personal. The fireplace is a centerpiece—warm, inviting, and stocked with enough firewood to last all summer. This isn’t just a house—it’s a welcoming home. You can feel the care and intention behind every detail. Located just 15 minutes from Bethel Woods, it’s the ideal escape from NYC. I can’t wait to return.

Great place to stay. The home was very cozy. The kitchen was amazing, lots of space, and everything we needed to cook was provided. The bathroom was clean, and the bedroom was very nice—lots of outdoor space.

We stayed at Brain's home on Memorial Day Weekend - great stay overall! Beautiful property in a quiet and serene lake community. The house and outdoor areas could have used a little sprucing before our arrival, but we were likely the first guests of the season and only booked one day in advance. The house can use a few homey touches (sharper knives, more practical shower curtains), but you cannot beat the location or proximity to the lake. The views are breathtaking and the sounds of nature made it so easy to disconnect. Brian is correct that the pictures do not do this place justice and the price is worth the location if you're looking for a getaway.

Lauren and Ryan's House was great! A perfect home for our family of four. The train themed bunk beds, darts and shuffleboard, fireplaces, and record player, were all hits. Lauren quickly responded to a few of our questions and made it clear that our comfort was her top priority. If you are looking for a clean, comfy, cozy and safe place by a lake, I highly recommend the Green Light Lodge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book again!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Darya's Airbnb, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The house is not only beautiful but also spotlessly clean, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at home. It's evident that Darya takes great pride in maintaining the property to a high standard. One of the highlights for our family was definitely the game room. It was well-equipped and provided endless fun for both the kids and adults. We spent many evenings enjoying friendly competitions and creating lasting memories. The pool was another major plus – it was clean, well-maintained, and offered a refreshing escape during the warmer parts of the day. We spent countless hours lounging by the poolside, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. Darya was a fantastic host, very responsive and accommodating to our needs. Her attention to detail and commitment to ensuring her guests have a great time.

We had a great stay away from the city. It’s spacious and clean. We recommend!

The stay was wonderful and very picturesque. John was very communicative and provided great recommendations around the place. The highlight of the stay was definitely the three barn cats who guided us to the front door and were really friendly and a delight to be around. The area around the house is really serene and peaceful and was great to walk around. Would 100% recommend this stay!

This was a great find and met all our needs. Jean was more than accommodating and the apartment clean and well appointed. Definitely recommend and will be back! Oh- and the bed and pillows were very comfortable!!

Anthony's place was exactly as advertised, and it was clean and bright. The apartment was fully stocked with everything I needed, it was comfortable, and I felt completely safe there. I would rent it again should I need to stay in the Hawley area, and I would recommend the space to others.

We enjoyed a comfortable stay at the Airbnb. The house was clean, and the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. It offered easy access and convenient parking, felt very private, and the host was responsive.

We had a great stay at the Birdhouse Hannah was a wonderful host! She also runs the eclectic cafe and gift shop below the apartment. The place was immaculate with plenty of room for the four of us. Nice bathroom with a great shower, Kitchen with all you would need, Lots of free parking nearby It is in the center of the town of Hancock so there were several food options, convenience and drug stores nearby, as well as nice antique shops if you wanted to shop. Would I stay there again?....We have already requested to book the same time next year!!!

We were staying with Eric for a wedding in honesdale. House was perfect for all the guests. House was cool inside even with the 90 degree heat. Clean, modern, cool set up. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to have a fire outside but it looked like a chill spot. Great restaurants close by, one in walking distance. Small liquor store right across the street with a nice selection. Neighbors are close but we didn’t bump into anyone. Would definitely like to stay again sometime.

The family and I had a great stay an will most likely find our way back here in the future.

Super helpful to guess and accommodating totally recommend her place

We had a great time! Cabin was quiet, secluded, and peaceful; a great space to get away from it all! Olena was also a great host! We had an issue with the air conditioning unit and she was great in offering solutions in a timely manner. She was also super accommodating with our check in time- we had a previous booking that was cancelled right before our scheduled trip and Olena was able to be flexible with the time we were able to arrive. Overall a great trip and we cannot wait to hopefully come back again in the future.

It is a very nice place just minutes away from a number of attractions. Colleen was very responsive and had clear instructions for check-in and check out. We will definitely recommend this place! The property had beautiful 3 acres and we would have loved to see some rough walkway/trail to explore all of it.

All went well. Glenn got back to me immediately if we had any questions but all in all it was an easy and efficient trip for me and some friends.

Had an amazing weekend! The house was beautiful and comfortably fit our group of 13 for a weekend get away. The amenities were great and CJ was very proactive with information which made the stay easy! We were also offered early check in and late check out which made the weekend even better!
