This unique little eco friendly hobby farm has a vibe all its own. Close to many amenities yet secluded in middle of it all. Wild bird watching, fishing in the pond, long walks in the field to catch the sunset. Enjoy a bonfire or just chill with the view. You will be transported to a peaceful place. Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

The Nook, Peaceful Retreat: Lake+Hot Tub+ Sauna!

Heritage barn turned zen-den! Our open-concept, loft style, timber-frame cabin has exposed beams, barn board walls, and plenty of windows to enjoy the lake view. Decorated with a beachy boho meets mid-century vibe, it's cozy and airy at the same time! The private deck offers the perfect place to listen to the birds and read a good book. The Nook is on our 1 acre, lakefront property, alongside our home. We hope you love it here as much as we do!

The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse is situated on a large partially treed property in the Kawarthas. This property includes a lake lot at the bottom of the hill with a dock to access Stoney Lake. Located close to boat launches at McCracken's Landing or Gilchrist Bay, Stoney Lake offers access to the Trent Canal System . A pedal boat, 2 kayaks and a canoe are available (guests should supply their own life jackets as they are required in all watercraft)

1800s Timber Trail Lodge

Former Algonquin Park post office transferred to this property in 1970 and made into a beautiful cottage. - 15 min away from Bancroft - several beaches around the area - 40 min walking trail on the property - small pond on the property - 2 double beds, 1 twin bed & 1 pull out couch - open concept, loft style. First floor is kitchen and living room area, second floor bedroom and washroom - snow mobile and four wheeler trails near by

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.

Cielo Farm, a home with a view

Cielo Farm is situated high on the picturesque hills of Cavan, Ontario. It is a small working farm with a market garden, laying hens, Muscovy ducks, Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats and two beloved horses. If you are looking for rest relaxation and connecting with nature, this is a perfect location. We are close to Peterborough and several charming small towns and interesting excursions. You can be as quiet or as active as you wish.
