The cottage accomodation is totally private set in a beautiful garden setting in the grounds of the historic school house built in 1876. 20 minutes to Methven and 1 hour to Christchurch international Airport. The Tower is a comfortable two storey, seperate building with an upstairs bedroom with ensuite bathroom. It has excellent views of the sea and the Southern Alps. A warm, cosy and quiet space with a private garden. Free Wifi Downstairs is the living room / kitchenette area. Upstairs and downstairs are connected by external stairs (see photos). Awesome outdoor bath - great for stargazing. There are balconies on three sides of the tower.

It is a Bach, which is a small modest holiday home. Great location, beach opposite. Hosts live on site. Nearest places is Punakaiki or Charleston, either one, a 15 minute drive. Fox River is 5 minutes away, (4.5 km), where each Sunday, over the summer, there is a local market day, crafts, food etc. We now have cell phone coverage. We now have all new floor coverings, carpet and vinyl. Also a new electric stove installed.

Seaside Cottage is nestled amongst the premises of Paparoa Park Motel & Cottages and offers probably the best views of the famous Pancake Rocks and Blowholes from the plateau the cottage sits on.
