Family-friendly holiday rentals in West Dover

Amazing view, great and comfy Airbnb. The hot tub is such a nice plus with the incredible view over the mountains. It was so well equipped we had most of our meals in the Airbnb because the kitchen was so functional. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

We were in town for a family wedding and this was the perfect place for 20 or so of us to spend the weekend. Everything was great. We were so comfortable and had so much fun! Thank you to Meiling, Martin, Mayra, and all the folks who assist them with housekeeping and logistics. Hope to find an excuse to return, as everyone was sorry when our stay came to an end. Highly recommend without hesitation.

We were four retired couples. Worldly travelers used to very comfortable surroundings. No TV was fine for this occasion. The farmhouse is designed with furniture comfortable for all, appointed in a farmhouse motif, of course, but the design aesthetic is of a quality respectful of its guests. "Good enough", never is. Obviously, the quality of consideration our Host has for the farmhouse presentation is treat your guest with respect and it will be reciprocated. One of the individuals commented, prior to even unpacking: "Perfect Place!" While it rained, we did not have the opportunity to enjoy the firepit, but some enjoyed the Hot Tub, as we all talked late into the night. This is located "close enough", 10 min drive to "civilization", to sites and shopping but it's really a more slightly secluded, private environment whereby a large family or, like us, distinct families can share comfortably, "come and go" separately together or stay together, together. We enjoyed ourselves.

I have to say this is THE BEST Airbnb in the area if you’re skiing Stratton. The house itself was everything you need, spacious, clean, well stocked., designed and decorated with a beautiful taste. The beds were large and comfy, shower pressure perfectly strong, heater fast and functional. The location was convenient too, with easy access to the shops and restaurants in Manchester. Paul was a wonderful host and very helpful. We definitely would love to come back in the near future.

Great location! This was a two family trip up to Mt Snow. We had a wide range of ages and 2 dogs. The house had plenty of toys and things for the kids to do - their favorite was the scavenger hunt! The kitchen is one of the best stocked kitchens compared to other Airbnbs we have used. The beds were comfortable - plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The couch and chairs in the living area were also very comfortable. The hot tub was very nice and enjoyable after everyone went skiing.

We had a wonderful stay! It's such a beautiful and unusual cabin. It would be great for two couples as there are 2 equally great bedrooms that are quite separate, and a very nice sitting area around the amazing wood stove. (Which we didn't use because it's June and not necessary.) The hot tub was such a treat, and the bedroom with the boat was so cool. (OK, so maybe the bedrooms aren't quite equally great.) The kitchen is outstanding! We sat out on the porch a lot looking over the meadow, and I really liked that we were able to bring our dog. About the notes and instructions: they didn't bother us at all. There's a few non-intuitive features of the cabin, and it was useful to have clear guidance on those things. I want to make clear why I gave 4 stars for "cleanliness". I think they do an excellent job cleaning this cabin! But a rustic cabin like this is impossible to make "5-star clean". If you want or need that level of cleanliness, then "rustic" isn't for you! Go find a nice hotel.

Great space! Lots of space to entertain for our group of 10. We also had my four year-old niece with us, which worked out because is also a very family friendly house with games to play and things to entertain kids as well. The kitchen was a great size. Plenty of space from multiple people to be in doing their thing. The hot tub is also amazing, very spacious with the perfect depth and a variety heights for the seating inside the tub, the tub sits about 10 steps from the back floating door off of the living room/den area and has breathtaking mountain views! If you’re heading to this area of Vermont and to have a larger group with you this place is perfect for your trip!

The getaway apartment was just as described. Peaceful, private, and with ample space and amenities for a family of three. We enjoyed our weekend!

The Sugar House was a fantastic place to stay! It was quiet and peaceful and there was a ton to explore in Burlington VT. The house had a lot of charm. it was cozy, warm, and had everything we needed for the weekend!

Denis was a great host - extremely responsive and generous. The cottage is one of the best I’ve stayed at in the area. It’s minutes from downtown Bratt but feels remote and peaceful. Highly recommend.

We had the most lovely stay at Pincone Pond. The house is absolutely spotless and well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, shampoo and condition in the bathrooms and throw blankets for the cool evenings. The house is so homey and comfortable and the grounds are stunning. Beautiful yard and pond which were well cared for. Catherine has thought of everything including chairs for sitting by the pond or fire pit. Just a lovely, peaceful spot.

House was perfect for our long weekend. Everything we needed was there, and it slept 8 people comfortably! Location was within a walk or short drive to many fun outdoor activities. Erin was responsive and provided clear instructions for our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is incredible, you’ll have everything you’d need. Full of very thoughtful details. Very cozy, confortable and charming. The surroundings are beautiful and in a short drive you’d find anything you may need in Brattleboro. From dining to great coffee, groceries and more… I loved how simple and easy where the instructions for check-in and Out. Katherine was very friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay there again.

This stay was an absolute gem! The host’s charming old house radiates character and warmth, with every detail carefully curated to make you feel at home. Her hospitality was unmatched—gracious, attentive, and genuine. Clear directions were thoughtfully placed everywhere, making the stay seamless and stress-free.

Our party of four adults and two small kids really enjoyed our weekend in this unique and tastefully renovated former barn. The linens, bedding, and towels were all top quality, the kitchen was well equipped, and overall the place was comfortable and spotless. The location is super private and quiet, surrounded by nature and farmland, including an on-site stream and sheep (that's not a typo). A great spot to stay for a visit to the northern Berkshires - Mt. Greylock and Mass MoCA are very nearby. Our visit was on a frigid winter weekend with a ton of snow and outside temps in the 20s, yet our indoor temps were toasty and very comfortable, especially with the wood stove.

Fantastic and authentic Vermont experience. Top 3 AirB&Bs I’ve stayed in. Off the beaten path, but close enough to everything you need. Rik is great host and makes it easy. Book if you can find availability.

Couldn't say enough great things about both the hosts and the property. Just lovely home - very spacious, and clean and cosy. The area is gorgeous, with a lot to do. Mt. Snow and Hermitage skiing are very close, and Wilmington and the area are charming. Host was very gracious and kind..thank you!

Large house in a very remote area. Approximately 70 acres. It was very relaxing and was nice to enjoy the pool which was professionally cleaned before arrival. The master bath has an incredible view of the mountains and an enormous shower. Pool table was fun and well taken care of. We stayed on probably one of the hotter weekends and the house cooled down at night pretty well just by opening the windows. Most rooms had ceiling fans if no other fans were provided. I can imagine this house would be amazing in the winter or fall too. With the screened in fireplace room and additional fire place inside the main house. You’re also close to 2 ski mountains each about 18 miles away. I could see myself renting again in the future. Thanks again

Husband and I had a great little ski getaway at Mt Snow. This cozy place was perfect for us! The view of the mountain is awesome. We did find the walk to the mountain (although short) with ski gear to be a bit much and highly recommend taking the Moover shuttle from the nearby parking lot.

We absolutely loved staying here- beautiful and laid out perfectly for 2 families, each with 2 little kids. Super convenient location to Mt. Snow. We look forward to staying here again!

We had a very relaxing stay. Plenty of space to stretch out. Located within 10-15 min. of Keene State activities, the purpose of our trip. Bryan was a wonderful host. Very responsive. Instructions were clear, directions very helpful. Everything we needed!!

Diana and family were amazing super friendly, accommodating and checked in on use through out. We arrived later than expected but Diana waited for us and showed us around the property. We even got to see her dogs, meet her family, met the horse on the property behind and great conversations with Diana. She made us feel right at home. She prepped the pool for us, left us some good snacks and offered lots of recommendations. When you visit check out the theater set up, it’s pretty cool with insane sound system and clear video. Comfortable beds and all around beautiful property. If you visit in the summer it is a little warm on the second floor but we cooled off in the pool and just made sure to turn the fans on. It was the perfect birthday trip, relaxing, private and homey. My family and I are already looking forward to the next trip. Thank you to Diana for everything and hope we can meet again! 100% recommend.

Loved Mary's guesthouse! Great hosts who helped me with luggage. Beautiful surroundings with gardens and pool. Bed was super comfy and host provided coffee and fresh milk made my stay even better. Perfect place to stay for a visit to Williamstown!
