Beachfront holiday rentals in West End, Vancouver

We had such a great time here! We were surprised at how quiet and peaceful it was, despite being close to so many amenities/restaurants/parks. The apartment was cozy, we enjoyed the fireplace and comfy couches. We also loved walking to kits beach and around the neighborhood. We’d definitely stay here again.

We had the most amazing stay at Vahid's place! Communication with Vahid was easy, and he always responded quickly. His house is tricky to find, but he sent us detailed driving instructions including photos of the potentially confusing drive, which was greatly helpful. Everything about the house is as described, but the VIEWS! Even seeing the listing online, we still weren't prepared for the jaw dropping views from the house. Just about every room has an amazing view of the water, and there are expansive balconies and terraces to walk around and enjoy the water views from too. The cherry on top was how kind Vahid is. He made us feel very welcome, supplied us with some essentials in the refrigerator, and was very understanding when we thought we had lost our keys! (We eventually found them.) We have nothing but rave reviews about Vahid and his house, and we hope we can make it back to stay again sometime.

This was the best Airbnb experience we ever had. The host Nicolette was very welcoming and warm. She made my family feel right at home. Between tea and cookies, she gave us lots of tips on great sites to visit and nice restaurants to dine. Really helpful! The rooms are spacious and clean. It feels like a high end hotel. My daughter really liked their hot tub:-). The beds are also quite comfortable. The house is in a nice neighborhood with golf course close by and river passing through the backyard. It was relaxing. We stayed for two days but really wished we could stay at least two more days. Definitely will come back when we visit Vancouver next time.

My wife and I spent 9 days at Andrew’s apartment and absolutely loved it! Andrew was very friendly - he met us on arrival, showed us everything, and was always ready to help if we needed anything. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood and has a separate entrance, which gave us a nice sense of privacy. It was cozy, had all the amenities we needed, and the Wi-Fi was great. We especially enjoyed the patio - it was a highlight! Sitting by the outdoor fireplace in the evenings with an amazing view, even on rainy days thanks to the roof, was such a treat. We also brought our cat, and he felt very comfortable there too. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

This was my second stay, and it was just as good as the first. The property is clean, stylish, and well-equipped with everything you need. The location is perfect and close to local attractions. The host is incredibly responsive and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend and looking forward to returning!

This place is the perfect haven of peace and perfect location. I stayed here before the pandemic one summer and had the wonderful experience of paddleboarding nearby. I remembered it being immaculate and wanted to come back and stay. Professional host with spotless cleaning. I read reviews and found other travellers concurred. For my stay I couldn't hear anyone upstairs and it was a really outstanding stay. I look forward to staying again sometime. Had a wonderful stay at Alan's floating home. It was very comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated with all the amenities we needed for our stay. The area is gated and secure for both the home and vehicles. Close to Lonsdale Quay and a quick ferry ride over to downtown Vancouver. It was a quiet and peaceful stay. Seals came to visit regularly in front of the home and played in the marina. It should be noted that the marina itself is not the same as what the pictures suggest. We were expecting views of docks and boats right in front of us, and perhaps the extra activity that comes with that. These are all gone now! The marina is completely open with unobstructed views towards the Vancouver skyline. Very much better in our opinion. Another thing of note is that, being a floating home, there is some rocking from time to time. Sometimes a little, sometimes more than a little, but never for very long. We found this to be quite the novelty and actually soothing. 100% recommend.

We had a great 3 day stay post cruise. The stay was comfortable for 6- close to transportation and restaurants. Host was responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Appartement très joli, fonctionnel et propre ! Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Pas de wifi le 1er jour mais Maisy a tout de suite répondu et fait le nécessaire en faisant venir un réparateur un samedi et nous l'avons eu dans la journée ce qui ne nous a pas dérangé comme nous visitions la ville. Donc point très positif pour sa réactivé et son efficacité ! L'appartement est bien situé à approximité du Lions Bridge qui permet d'accéder facilement à Vancouver par Stanley Park ou d'aller très rapidement à Grouse Montain Je recommande !

I will definitely stay here again. I can’t think of one thing negative to say. I was very comfortable and found the suite very suitable with everything I needed.

Loved my stay here! Stayed solo for three nights and loved the area and being able to walk out to the dock - definitely would recommend staying here in general and also would recommend catching a sunrise/sunset! Lots of hiking nearby and was great to be away from the city.

Das Carriage House ist eine großartige Wahl, wenn man Bowen Island erkunden will. Es liegt zwar etwas abseits, so dass ein eigenes Fahrzeug hilfreich ist. Die Lage und die komfortable Ausstattung sind atemberaubend. Wir durften dort eine wunderschöne Zeit verbringen und hatten das Glück, Buckelwale und Orcas direkt am Haus vorbei ziehen zu sehen.

Our stay on the float home was a fun experience. Don and Sylvie were very responsive and wanted to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. It was an enjoyable experience in a great part of town! We would stay here again! The only note of feedback I would have is that you can feel that you are on the water (it is stated but not many commented on it). At night it calmed down and we did not feel it as much. Just something to think about if you are sensitive to motion.

This was our second visit and we were so glad we returned! Terry and Adele have many years of experience in the hospitality business and it sure shows. In addition to being impeccably clean, the dwelling is surrounded by lovely flower arrangements inside and out and very pleasing art. It is tastefully decorated with colorful touches which lend to a cheery, fun atmosphere. The breakfasts Adele prepares are remarkably good and they are artfully designed as well, with tiny floral arrangements on the side. They include fresh fruit and come with a choice of several options, all fresh and home made. The bed is extremely comfortable. There is a lovely bay across the way with lots of wildlife and a trail down the street that leads to a lovely little lake. Quiet, safe, central to everything and very peaceful place to be.

We had an amazing 9-day stay at Amin’s place in Vancouver! From start to finish, everything was perfect. Amin was an exceptional host – responsive, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to our needs. The apartment was ideal for our family of four (3 adults and 1 child). It was spacious, bright, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The full-size kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, which made it feel like a true home away from home. We also appreciated having Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer and ample parking, which are essential for longer stays. One of the absolute highlights was the location. The beach was just a 5–10 minute walk, and the neighbourhood itself is stunning, vibrant, safe, and full of great shopping, restaurants, and coffee shops. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and can’t recommend Amin’s place highly enough. It checked every box for comfort, convenience, and hospitality. We will definitely be returning to Amin's on our visit to Vancouver.
