Holiday rentals with a fireplace in West Hurley

The house is beautiful and the location was lovely, but there were a few things that fell short of the listing description. There was a strong mildew smell in the garage (even after the handyman aired it out), and some basic amenities were missing, like laundry baskets, food storage space, and charging cords for the speakers. There were also only two tall drinking glasses, which was tricky for a group. The outdoor living area shown in the listing wasn’t set up when we arrived, and we would have loved to enjoy it if the cushions were more accessible. That said, the host was very responsive when we reached out with concerns, which we appreciated. With a few tweaks to better prepare the home for guests, this could be a truly wonderful stay.

We had a lovely stay at this remote little cabin home! It feels more like staying at a friend’s house while they are out of town rather than other types of Airbnb rentals. This is someone’s home, with personality, coziness, and a great view! We saw a ton of wildlife, including beavers, deer, and a black bear, so there is plenty of nature small and large.

We had the best long weekend, the house is immaculately clean and so peaceful. Enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch looking out at the water. Wish we could have stayed longer! The area is beautiful, lots to do. Would definitely go back for another stay!

Hana’s place is in a great location, close to local attractions yet tucked away in a peaceful area. The house had all we needed to make our stay comfortable. While there is no A/C, there were plenty of fans to keep the house cool. We just happened to be staying there at a time when temps soared. Nothing a little cold shower won’t take care of. We loved the retro decor and all the paintings and Knick-knacks that adorned the place. I would definitely recommend Grandma’s House for anyone visiting the Woodstock area.

This home is a great retreat in the Catskills, it feels intimate while still having the space for you and other guests. Would visit again!

Edward’s place was an excellent stay for my husband and I and our two young daughters. We had plenty of space and everything was clean and comfortable. Edward was a great host, reaching out before check-in and greeting us upon arrival to show us around, give us the lay of the land, and even recommend a few local spots. There were guests in the other, separate houses, but we had plenty of quiet and privacy. The rainbow swing behind the main house, which Edward said we could use, was a huge hit with my daughters. Surrounding area is great; tons of restaurants and activities within a very short drive. We’d love to stay here again—next time, we’d want to explore more of the property as Edward said we could do (unfortunately rainy weather kept us from more than a short walk).

What a beautiful place! It’s exactly as described in the listing, but even more peaceful and private than expected. We sat on the front patio in the morning and evenings. We regularly saw deer and humming birds, and listened to an owl one night. Kristin is a polite host who communicates exceptionally well. 5 stars all around! 👏🏻

Katherine’s place is absolutely beautiful! It’s in the center of town so it’s very walkable but peaceful at the same. You can’t ask for a cozier place to spend your time in Kingston!

This place is tiny and wondrous! So well-thought out and decorated, it is comfy and tasteful, clean and beautiful. The large trees and bubbling creek were magical and I walked through the town many times a day to get coffee or dinner or to look at the history of the area just blocks away. It is a partially below ground space with two windows. It stays cool and has fans if needed. You can hear the tenants upstairs as it is a shared house which was fine by me. It is rural ish so you hear the birds constantly and see the trees swaying but also bugs live in the country, so they coexist with you. It is a dreamy place at the edge of town.

The Airbnb is on a small hill looking out towards a small pond and an open field. The sunset in particular was very nice. The home is in a very private location. Inside, the space was well decorated - simple yet tasteful. The space itself is on the smaller end but the decor opens up the space. Michael answered all questions within 24-hours. Easy to communicate with. Overall a good stay

This was a lovely getaway, went up for Memorial Day Weekend and getting some nature in at Minnewaska state park, it was rainy this weekend so we ended up having more time at the house then planned but we were so cozy it was a delight, we had some empty tanks for the grill when we arrived but the hosts offered to reimburse us for the refuel which was very kind, also had a friend who left their jacket and keys and Kyle and Jasmine have been wonderful in helping them get it back! A great cozy stay, the ride up was scenic

My friends and I rented the home for our yearly getaway weekend. We all have babies and kids and there was a lot of space for everyone, things to do for the kids and everyone loved the pool. Great place. Thank you!

My daughters and I really enjoyed our stay at Jacks place. The house is beautiful, and the surrounding private property is stunning. Nicole was very helpful whenever I had any questions.

Beautiful home, great location and friendly host. Bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything needed, games room was an added bonus.

Everything was absolutely amazing. We felt at home the entire stay and had everything we needed. Carl was really easy to work with. I mistakenly booked the trip a day shorter than needed. At the last minute I realized my mistake and Carl was quick to respond that adding an extra day was no problem. The system had a problem though allowing me to book an overnight stay on the same day I “checked out,” but Carl worked back and forth with me and with AirBnb help until I was finally able to book that extra night. Carl remained professional, calm, and polite, even though I know that was probably stressful and a pain to deal with. The problem was 100% on me, but he helped to fix it with such grace. I really appreciate the professionalism. I highly recommend both Carl and this specific rental. Thank you!

This place is a hidden gem. Every detail of the house felt meticulously thought out and made it feel like a real home. We are golfers, and we were able to make our T-time at the Tennanah course in 3 mins, it’s that close. The lake is beautiful and clean, but what we noticed the most is just how quiet and peaceful it is on the lake. We woke up to the sound of birds every morning! The house was large enough to accommodate our large group which was a huge plus as well, and the kids loved the paddle boards.

Serg’s place was perfect for a weekend with friends. It looks just like the photos, has everything you need, and Serg was super quick to respond whenever we had questions. Would totally recommend!

We had a great time staying here! The house was clean and matched the description perfectly. It's the perfect place to stay to go skiing in the winter or hiking in the summer!
