Tiny house holiday rentals in West Virginia

A rustic cabin in the woods for some R and R was what we had hoped for…and we got it! Beautiful wood beams. So nice to have a private bathroom, as well as a window unit for heat and A/C. The shared kitchen was less than 50 feet away and had all the cooking vessels, utensils and cookware to make a meal. But we loved going to cafe! Barbara and her team served up delicious meals.

We stayed here for our 26th anniversary and it was perfect! It is an amazing cabin with incredible views. I highly recommend this cabin. The one piece of advice is because cell service is spotty don't trust your gps. Follow the instructions and look for the name of the cabin on the sign.

We loved our stay at the Red Roost! The boys loved the coop. We enjoyed being close to the city but also in the woods. My 8 year old loved all of the different lofts to sleep/play in. This home had all of the little things, forget your backpack for hiking (check), a bin of flashlights (checks), books for reading (check), walking sticks (check). Would love to visit this home again.

Rich & Brittany we’re great hosts! Very responsive and helped with any issues instantly. The house was clean and as described. Very peaceful scenery, lots of deer roaming and pretty wildlife. Super pretty drive from NOVA as well!! Would definitely stay again. The hot tub topped off the trip and was perfect for two people!

Beautiful cozy space with the cutest yard ever, large for my dog to run. Inside was clean, organized, and easy to find everything. I have 0 complaints and would stay here again!

This cottage is truly magical, and Jill is an excellent host. Such a deeply peaceful place. Go to hear the bullfrogs singing and for a visit from Clyde the rooster!

This is a gorgeous little camp site, very quiet and the cabins and sites are well spaced for privacy. The property is so beautiful! I enjoyed swimming in the stream and appreciated Sarah's recommendation for where to find deeper water. I got no service at my cabin (which is exactly what I was looking for with this trip!) and it was nice that they have WiFi at the main lodge to get messages. I would definitely go back when I need an escape.

My husband and I almost didn’t pick this place due to it being 40 minutes from where we wanted to do our hiking, but I made the decision to stay and was so glad I did! It far exceeded our expectations, and was, hands down, the nicest vacation rental we have ever stayed at! It was so relaxing and peaceful that I didn’t even feel like leaving each morning to do our adventures! I can’t wait to go bank with my cousin in a couple of months! (Met up with the hosts for a cocktail and they were so nice!!!). Thanks for everything!

Great place. Has everything you need for a short stay and is very clean and organized. Also has coffee and water which is super great and hygiene products. Could use a little more water but definitely a great and homey spot. For any other paranoid guest like me, I took a quick look around to find any hidden cameras and there were none to be spotted!

was gorgeous and loved that it was raining our whole stay. made the cabin look and feel so cozy. very relaxing and enjoyed traveling out to all the different sites to see. our host was very welcoming, friendly and responsive.

The location is perfect, and the space feels so cozy and welcoming. We also really appreciated how quickly the host was responding - that was very helpful. The place is great for a weekend getaway for two people.

This was a great stay that was right next to Hawks Nest State Park and within 10 minutes or so of the northern part of New River Gorge National Park. We prefer to cook our own food when we travel and this place had a nice little kitchen and charcoal grill. I would maybe suggest adding either an extra table inside or a picnic table outdoors just to have a bit more surface space for food prep but otherwise no complaints. The hot tub was very relaxing after lots of hiking. Hoping to return to the area and stay here again next year.

Brian was an extremely kind and gracious host. The property was scenic and really beautiful. The yard was lit up with fireflies at night and it was a short walk to the overlook of the river. The only thing we weren’t sure about when we arrived was the hot tub. It wasn’t an issue by any means. I would highly recommend Brian and the tiny home.

Although the weather sequestered us in for most of the trip, it was comfortable and perfect for what we needed away from the noise of the world. The town is charming, the people beautiful, open, and receptive and the one hike we got in at the park was worth it! ❤️

Adorable, clean, thoughtful, this studio was perfect!! We visited Antietam for a couple days and this spot was so cozy and relaxing for us. Our favorite was drinking coffee next to the babbling creek - doesn’t get much better than that! We loved getting to chat with Heather on her beautiful property. Thank you!!!

If you’re like us and prefer the privacy of a country getaway nearby to the amenities of a charming small town, then this is your place in the beautiful Lewisburg, WV area. A cozy and eclectic cabin filled with curiosities on a picturesque pastoral farm, the Mill House was the perfect location for our long holiday weekend. Whether swinging on the front porch or relaxing in bed, we enjoyed beautiful views of the rolling hills, curious cows, and farmers doing what farmers do. Lewisburg is only minutes away and easy to get to and from. Melissa and the rest of the welcoming party were delightful, informative and available throughout our stay. We will definitely be back and just hope that you’re not booking now for the same weekend!

Fantastic stay with a fantastic host who goes over and above what's expected. Beautiful farm setting which beats a hotel along the highway. When we come back to Morgantown, we'll absolutely stay here again! 5-stars all the way.

A quirky and fun experience. James home gives you an updated kitchen and bathroom with a quaint old house feel. The beds are comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and the short walk to town. The driveway was steep and we appreciated the ability to park in the lower spot also available. The little details like a HDMI in a basket and all the cleaning supplies was great. Having three small bedrooms for our group at this price was perfect.

My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. When I suggested it my wife looked at me unsure of what I was suggesting. The state of WV is one of magic you have to see to enjoy. The house is gorgeous and the view is beyond breathtaking. We found peace and solace just sitting with each other. We heard and saw such an abundance of animals from frogs to cows to humming birds and hawks. The only things that could just be because of where the house is, is the water will shut off after limited use. The fire pits location makes using it and enjoying the view difficult. However that aside it was a magical experience and you will truly understand why WV is almost heaven.

As remote as it gets which is fantastic! Great little cabin in very rural West Virginia - super peaceful and quiet! Communicative host who addressed an early issue promptly! Bring fans if you run hot / plan to stay in the summer as the cabin doesn’t have ventilation. Great spot!!

There’s so much I could say about this beautiful home. We were 100% satisfied with our stay and loved every second of it. It was the most peaceful, quiet and clean home. Rachelle made sure that it was equipped with everything you could possibly need and also had things that you would never even think of. We took advantage of everything it had to offer other than the kayaks since sadly the water was too high and fast this weekend. We played badminton, cornhole, the ring toss game and other games that we had brought along. We enjoyed the card games at night and loved the game “you should know that”. I think we played for a solid 3 hours because we were learning and having fun at the same time lol. My favorite spot in the house was the back porch that included a gas fire pit and solar lamps right by the water. I loved waking up with some coffee and sitting out there just listening to the sounds of nature. The home was exactly what we were looking for a quiet weekend getaway.

This place was in a beautiful location. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Easy access to trails. Communication with Jerry was great. Would definitely stay here again.
