Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Westmoreland County

Jayme hosts a 2 bedroom trailer nearby to Somerset (village with restaurants and bars and chain restaurants) and close to 3 ski resorts. My friend and I enjoyed the grill and relaxing here after skiing each day.

The home was very clean. It's located in a quiet, private neighborhood. Luke was very quick to respond when we had a question during our stay. The kitchen is well equipped with clean, functional appliances and lots of utensils. The back deck is large and comfortable with lots of seating. We enjoyed our stay and won't hesitate to consider staying here again when we are in the area.

Our stay was an amazing experience from start to finish (and I’m very picky!) Cabin was clean and spacious. It immediately felt like a home away from home, but with that country mountain feeling vibe. The cabin was fully stocked with essentials – from high quality paper towels and toilet paper (not the cheap stuff!) to kitchen appliances and utensils. Plenty of extra blankets in the closets. Plenty of towels of various sizes. Huge trash cans (important when you are staying with kids!) One of the most delightful surprises was the welcome basket. Kids were over the moon (so were we, the parents). We loved the campfire & marshmallows! Timothy was easy & prompt in communication and accommodating our requests. We can't recommend this cabin enough!

Holly Street Haven was perfect for us…a scattered family that connects annually, who want quiet, peaceful time together. The sunroom was our favorite space, very comfortable seating with beautiful views of the surrounding woods. We all commented that the beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean, and that is not easy when you’re in such a woodsy setting. The stairs onto the front porch were a challenge for 3 of my siblings, but Chris very generously offered use of the garage entrance into the house, and those interior stairs were no problem at all! We loved our stay, Chris is a great host, checking to be sure everything was good for us. We would definitely stay again, and highly recommend Holly Street Haven. It truly is a Haven!!!

Our entire family enjoyed our stay at the Sugar Tree Lodge! We were never sitting around looking for things to do because there were so many activities available! The kids and adults all enjoyed kayaking, playing games, sitting around the fire pit, searching for salamanders, fishing, and relaxing. The space was absolutely perfect for our large family. We never felt overcrowded and loved spending time together! Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here for a week while visiting family and Pamela and her son Zach were great !! The home is beautiful and has modern but rustic charm . We will definitely be renting this home again for future visits .

My husband and I stayed at Rafaela’s place for one night and had a wonderful experience. She was responsive, flexible and helpful. The space was so well thought out and very clean. It had everything we needed & was very comfortable! She even had homemade treats for our arrival :) It was walkable with lots of shops and restaurants. We would absolutely stay again!!!

Alexios and Varia’s place was one of my favourite airbnb to stay in! alexios and varia are really nice (: we loved or weekend stay there! would go back again.

This was just a quick passing through so we didn't spend a lot of time there but the place was clean, spacious, and well equipped.

We were in town for a wedding and this place was perfect! It was clean and beautifully decorated. All of the windows facing the river were the perfect setting for our morning coffee. It was roomy enough for my family without being on top of each other. It was convenient to many bars, brewerys, and restaurants. The host responded very quickly with any questions we had. We had a great time and would definitely book a stay there again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful place w me and my family!

This place is TOP NOTCH!! HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS SPOT!! Clean, great amenities, awesome, new, high end applicances Iwasher/dryer, dishwasher, etc). She provides all amenities - laundry soap, trash bags, sandwich bags and wraps, kitchen is fully stocked for a chef with great pots, pans, cookware. First rate place!

A plus stay! Beds were comfy and everything was clean.

Excellent host, very responsive and accommodating! He was helpful and patient with my tech -challenged sister who couldn't figure out the app, and he easily worked out our extra nights' stay on last minute notice. There was a tornado during our stay and the power went out, Shannon was right there with flashlights, lanterns, and a portable phone charger. Our car was stuck behind a downed tree and Shannon was happy to give us an extended check out time until the tree was removed. The home was perfect, just big enough that our pitbull had space but small enough to feel like a cozy cabin in the woods. And in the woods it is! For the suburban area it's in, the house itself is surrounded by woods, small fields, and a Christmas tree farm and was lovely to take our pup walking in! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place that their fur friends will feel comfortable and at home in. We will definitely be back in the near future!

While we were only here at 28 acres for one evening, we really enjoyed our time there. Travelled in May 2025. The space was very comfortable, and property and backyard was so peaceful and serene. My wife and I got up to watch the sunrise over the forest in the backyard chaises and had blankets provided. Having great weather during the trip allowed us to enjoy the lovely backyard. Ginny & Jim were kind hosts and also let us do our own thing and maintain our privacy!

We had a great stay in Jessop’s cabin! We had two families of 3 staying together. The cabin was spacious and suited our families well. We did a lot of cooking and had what we needed in the kitchen. The location was peaceful yet was within 30 minutes of Ohiopyle. We definitely took advantage of the addition/game room for family game night!

The best part about our stay was the fenced in yard. Our dogs could run and play outside without being attached to a leash. The inside was adorable and extremely clean! I have severe pet allergies and I worried that I would be miserable all weekend, but I only sneezed a handful of times! We had everything we need to make dinner one night, which was nice because we didn’t have to take the dogs anywhere or leave them alone (I wouldn’t trust them). We will definitely be back!

What a sweet little cabin! We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful outdoor space including the creek. We had an excellent time relaxing on the porch, splashing in the creek, and cooking meals outside. We slept well listening to the creek- one of my all time favorite sounds. Our dog especially loved all the smells and chasing sticks and tennis balls as they floated down the creek!

The place was awesome! Had 10 guys for a bachelor party and could not recommend more. Plenty of space and plenty to do. Clean and had every amenity you could ask for. 11/10!

This place was everything I wished for!!!….If you’re looking for a romantic getaway look no further seriously this is a hidden gem!!! Me and my gf loved everything about this place! We will definitely be booking here again!!! We highly recommend if you’re visiting heres a couple good restaurants The Flying Lion,and Coal Miner Diner the food at both these places was booooomb af! And if you’re looking for a bar we would recommend Wicked Googly or Sandi’s!!!! We would like to thank Chad again for letting us have this opportunity to make these cherished memories!!

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was immaculate, the property was private and beautiful. The windows are so big and bring in so much light. Ninos restaurant was about 2 minutes away and had delicious food. Highly recommend this place and would love to return!

The best review I can give is to say that this is the third summer our family has stayed at this same property for our annual family retreat (first with one child, and now with two!) and we hope to continue to build family memories here. The creek, the house itself, the trampoline, and the playground are just perfect for sinking into peace and letting the girls play to their hearts' content, and the quick trip into Ligonier is perfect for when we want to get out!

Whenever I travel, I make sure to book somewhere that reminds me of home. Timothy’s property is remote and peaceful, he and his wife are extremely friendly/helpful, and they make visiting such a joy. I definitely plan on booking again any time I come to town to visit old friends. What relaxation!
