Amazing place, host was super kind and accommodated my family’s last minute booking since we were cancelled on twice that week! We are super happy we found this adorable beautiful place that ended up being better than the other places would have been anyway!

My family and I had a wonderful stay - the home was well equipped, charming, and Pam had spectacular recommendations (& was very communicative!). The property is beautiful and spacious, with plenty of games, puzzles and even two living rooms, which ended up being great for those who wanted to watch TV and others who wanted to read. We had great fun cooking in the kitchen, painting in the fully enclosed porch (fab!) and making s’mores in the fire pit. The home was also very close to the Boothbay Harbor… great location! Would definitely come back.

Great location on Back River. short drive to wiscasset and groceries. Fun to sit and watch the tides.

Our stay at The Rowe House was absolutely wonderful! The space was immaculate, and had every amenity we needed. The host was welcoming and made us feel at home. The location was perfect - close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. We especially loved the kitchen that led to the side porch. The yard was well taken care of and had plenty of seating to hang out. Also the beds were very comfortable. It was truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had, and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Boothbay Harbor. Beautiful location!

This was my 5th time going there and I love it! The house is so cozy & very clean. The property is large and the view is breathtaking over looking the river. They are also pet friendly so we were able to take our Lhasa Apso Revy on vacation with us. Besides how great this Air BnB is, my favorite is the hosts Kent & Tish! They are wonderful people. They are kind & friendly, & have such beautiful souls. They have become family to me! I highly recommend getting this air bnb!! Thank you again Tish & Kent! If you’re looking for a cozy, peaceful stay overlooking the Kennebec River, this is the place to book. Truly enjoyed our time at the little cottage. It met all our needs and the hosts were friendly and responsive. Highly recommend :)

I can’t say enough about what a nicely appointed home in a beautiful setting this is. I came for peace and tranquility and it did not disappoint. I haven’t had such good sleep in over 2 years. Highly recommend and plan to return next year! Thank you all so much for sharing your lovely home.

Beautiful Airbnb! Everything in the Airbnb was very well thought out. The host was super nice and always quick to respond. My only regret was not spending more time here!

Angela’s place was wonderful! Very cozy, clean and comfortable, well stocked, close to downtown Portland. Snacks was a nice touch! Angela was very responsive. Hope to come back soon!

Jon’s cabin is a beautiful place to get away from it all. Very comfortable and well designed. We had everything we needed to cook and hole up for a few days. If you decide to drive to the lake, I would recommend 4WD. We had a truck but were not aware of how soft the ground was and ended up needing to be towed out. Still highly recommend! Enjoy your stay!

The host gave us an upgrade to another tiny house in the same location that we gladly accepted. We were welcomed by fresh lilacs in the tiny home with cozy ambiance. The location is remote with a small farm stand (the honey from this stand is a must, we got the biggest jar and we have zero regrets). This is a peaceful retreat with beautiful views and hikes. I recommend this to anyone looking to escape the city.

We loved our stay! A week was not long enough! Very open layout with lots of space. We loved having a washer and dryer! It was a pleasure to talk to Tom! Really a person you could talk to hours for! We left feeling like family, and couldn’t recommend the place more! If you’re looking to visit Maine or even the big city of Portland, I would recommend you look here. Being out in the country sheds a different light on all that Maine has to offer!

I was meeting with family for a graduation. Four of us were staying here. The place was exactly what we needed in our lives and hoped for. It was country, quiet, peaceful and beautiful. It was so beautiful sitting on the back porch that we never once sat in the living room. We had lots of coffee and laughs sitting out there. We never even went into the hot tub or sauna. Would definitely recommend if this is what you need for your soul.

Great house! Very spacious, plenty of bathrooms, and fantastic location. Very easy to communicate with the owners and check in/out was simple. My minor only critique is that we wish the grill were a bit bigger and nicer. We wanted to grill one day, but we were a little disappointed and unable to do so due to the grill quality. Would definitely stay again!

Top notch spot and host!! We had such a great time at Alexa’s lovely home! It was so cozy, beautifully decorated, modernized, and had all the essential items you’d need - plus it is completely pet friendly! Our dog loved the fenced in yard with a doggy door to get out to it. The sauna, endless pool, and hot tub are just amazing amenities to have on site - that sunroom was my favorite place in the house to say the least! Can’t say enough about it and Alexa, too! She is super friendly, responsive, and had great recommendations for fun and good food in the area. Overall, it was just a wonderful and relaxing experience for our first time on the Maine coast and we can’t wait to visit again!

We had an absolutely beautiful, special, memorable and meaningful stay here, and immediately started plotting how to get back asap on our ride home. Naughty Dog Island is breathtaking, so incredibly peaceful, is a magical world all in it's own, and wow Kent has really figured it all out. Everything is so well thought out, from the nature of off-grid living to the peaceful hang out spots, the impressive communication making sure we had everything we needed, and with immediate response to any questions, we felt right at home and cared for in the best possible way. Kent and Heather went way above above and beyond for us, and were the kindest, sweetest, and most thoughtful hosts. The house was so comfortable and the island just gorgeous. Super easy and flexible check in/out and logistics of getting to and from. I can't say enough good things about this absolute gem of a place. I highly recommend a stay here, and promise you will never want to leave. Thank you Kent + Heather!!!!!

Hillside Camper is such a lovely and unique place! Surrounded by nature, with everything you need, and surprisingly bigger than expected! We arrived late in the afternoon and Rob was not only quick to respond but also left the lights on outside and inside. We had a fantastic, peaceful stay and will definitely return when we are in Maine again.

The perfect one-night getaway from the grind. The cedar hot tub was a godsend and David was very helpful and communicative! Great location and value!!

First time renting on Airbnb, it couldn’t have been a more perfect experience. The cozy cabin on the cliffs of Maine was beyond anything I could’ve imagined. Stephanie & Heather thought of everything; welcome snacks, dog treats, water, things to do,etc. They even had binoculars, we used on a bald eagle diving into water. Being able to use their kayaks (no charge), made packing & planning much easier. The peaceful surroundings & natural beauty made it easy to disconnect & relax. We saw so many jellyfish in the ocean and they were beautiful! On check-out morn, Stephanie messaged us to say we stay later in day because no one was checking in today, it was the nicest day. That extra time meant everything, we ended up leaving around 4pm with no extra charge. The level of kindness & hospitality is rare & so appreciated. This stay was absolutely unforgettable, we will 100% be coming back. Thank you, Stephanie & Heather, for creating such a peaceful, thoughtful, & welcoming escape.

Spent a relaxing long weekend at the cabin. Idyllic location right on the water with plenty to do outside. We enjoyed making fires, fishing, and exploring in the canoe. Inside, the cabin was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. Camden is nearby for a nice dinner or a stroll and shopping downtown. Acadia is also close enough for a day trip. Checkin/checkout was very straightforward, and the host was helpful and quick to answer any questions. Hope to visit again!

Perfect Maine getaway. We'd loved our peaceful stay at Gale's cabin. It was the perfect place to unplug. The cabin is has small beautiful touches. You can tell a lot of love has been put into these four walls. Kitchen had everything we needed, bed super comfy. Shower was amazing. We loved sitting on the porch and drinking coffee. Sitting around the fire pit at night with our dog. Even though Gale's house is further up on the property, it felt absolutely private. Gale was so communicative and welcoming. Perfect distance for a quick drive into Damariscotta and Boothbay, but had the luxury of being away from it all. 10/10!!

Great place to stay in Brunswick! Extremely walkable to the downtown restaurants and shops. Clean and bright space with spacious bedrooms (enough space to throw a pack-and-play in one of the bedrooms). Beds were comfortable and living room/kitchen good for socializing! Bonus — you can also access the Androscoggin River path for a nearby dose of nature and water. This is the second location of Spencer’s we’ve stayed in (the other about two years ago) and both stays were awesome. Highly recommend for a trip to Brunswick!
