Lovely place, plenty of space and close to the village. Tish was great with communication and even offered an extra night at no extra cost when had to arrive a day late, unfortunately we could not take advantage off. Highly recommended place and host.

We very much enjoyed our one night stay. Roomy home with comfortable beds and was very clean, tidy and easy parking across the street. An easy drive up to Westport or down to the Quay. Walking to town would be a challenge for us older folks with the hills. Thanks!

Elizabeth & Brian’s place was absolutely wonderful!! Bright and full of light and overlooks a beautiful bay! You can see both tide in and tide out. It’s an incredibly short walk to all shops, restaurants and bars. Clifton is such a fun town and so fun to explore! It is so close to castles, ruins, an abbey and all sorts of lovely site-seeing!! Communication was excellent! We would definitely stay here again!!

Our stay with Regina was wonderful it's a great little get away; nice, peaceful, relaxing and great views all around. Regina was the perfect host greeting us at the door making us feel very welcomed, giving us tips on what to do in the local area and leaving us some of her signature scones to enjoy. I would highly recommend staying with Regina.

The host has been proactive with all the information that we needed. The place had ample parking space. The surroundings are lush green. It's great to wake up to the sound of nature. The place is a perfect weekend gateway, if you want to recuperate your tired soul within the nature.

fabulous location suited us perfectly, for hiking .spotless place very comfortable bed.And the local pub the compass was an added bonus ,made feel.very welcome

I can’t say enough good things about Jamie and our stay in his apartment. From the moment we booked our stay he was attentive , thoughtful and welcoming. The space was stylish, stocked and spotless. The location was perfect and close to everything. Jamie also went above and beyond with local recommendations (video walk throughs) We will absolutely be back to Galway and Jamie’s apartment. If you are ever in the Galway area this is the best apartment you could possibly book!

We have stayed in a lot of airbnb’s in various countries and Buttermilk Lodge has to be #1 in terms of providing everything you could ever need. The lodge sits on a beautiful, private piece of land minutes walk from all of the amenities, and is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything including milk, butter, coffee, teas, cereals and Cathriona’s very tasty homemade breads. Very clear instructions are provided for every appliance, and lots of local information on hiking trails and local attractions. We highly recommend a stay at Buttermilk Lodge!

Kathy is a great host - very friendly and welcoming. There were plenty of provisions for us in the kitchen which were most welcome. The flat is much larger than I’d anticipated from the photos and was very clean and comfortable - I wish we’d have spent a few more nights there during our trip to the west coast of Ireland. Thank you Kathy!

Excellent, proactive communication comes to mind first! While the cottage was not the most stylish, it was one of the most functional places we have stayed and was our home away from home for three days. Close to hiking, beaches, and great food. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay in Foxford at Noelle's place. The river view is gorgeous. We had everything we needed to eat in but also great recommendations for local options - the cafe in the woolen mills has delicious options . Noelle's place was a great base to explore the area from and also to relax within. Comfortable beds, great shower and everything we needed. We hope to stay again in the future and highly recommend.

We had a really memorable stay. Tom and Christina were really helpful, friendly and very welcoming, every detail they gave was perfect. The studio was our perfect getaway, a very peaceful and quiet locality. We went by the recommendations given by Tom and Christina, they were all worth it. They also have two labs who were very loving and friendly. We can’t wait to come back here, the kind of place where you could have the most relaxed vacation :)

Great apartment for enjoying all that Galway has to offer! Walkable to all the key places and very peaceful with wonderful views! Great for families, clean, comfortable and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay!

Ciara is a really lovely friendly host, flexible and super helpful. The apartment is exactly as described, but with breathtaking scenery, the occasional peaceful sound of horses clip clopping past and the sea across the road - stunning! I will definitely be back 🥰

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grattan Holiday Apartments, car parking out the back, spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen and within walking distance to the beach, local pubs and restaurants. It's about a 20 minute walk into Galway city and taxi back is around €10. Highly recommend a stay here. Sean and Cathal are on hand if you need them and will recommend places to visit and eat
