King fisher cottage is a tranquil eco cottage set on the rivers edge of 11 acres of wild farmland and beautifully landscaped gardens that offer total privacy. The cottage has a semi-outdoor bath for bathing while star gazing, a kitchenette, living area & bedroom. There is no wifi & minimal phone reception, the perfect place to get away and unwind an enjoy nature. PLEASE NOTE: June through to September the track is too soft for a car so you need to park in the carpark and walk 40m to cottage.

There are great walks from the doorstep; around the estuary, which is just over the road, and beyond via the Omokoroa Cycleway. Further up the driveway you'll find the paddock with our two alpacas and a bubbling brook running through it. The cabin includes a kitchen with small oven, single induction hob and microwave. Fast wifi is included.

You will have exclusive use of this 3 bedroom country home which easily accommodates 7 people. An 11 minute drive to the sensational Wairere Falls bush walk . 17 minutes to Hobbiton Movie set . Has foam mattresses for groups up to 11 as well as a portacot. Please be aware of electric fences on driveway( but not near house surroundings )
